I am 78 years old, and not in good health, but I refuse to die until I have seen with my own eyes Angelina Jordan a world famous superstar. Someone will have to shoot me first. Everything Bob Blair says is exactly how I have felt about Angelina from day one, including what he said about Mom Sara. I cried when I saw her backstage with her hands over her mouth. The whole family, mom, kids, Mery are our family too

Heavy subject, but well done. Growing up with family issues as a child is very disconcerting. Three schools in first grade and two years of home studies then 4 different high schools takes a toll on kids. I vowed never to put my kids through that and didn't. Now at 73 with Nine grandkids and proud of every one of them, I guess the wife and I did ok. I re-watched several old Angelina reaction videos last night. One was Ceci Ceci Dover doing Allways on My Mind. Yes my eyes self lubricated.

Hello Philip. I am humbled, to say the least, by your comment. When I first picked up my phone at work and messaged Pontus asking if he and Alan would be willing to have me on an episode, I really didn't think I'd be taken seriously let alone, welcomed to join them. From deep within me I desired to help Angelina in her pursuit of loving people. What I had experienced through her gift changed me from the inside out. I had to share this with the world. Unfortunately we have 8 billion of us out there and this podcast has 2.1k views. Angelina asks us to be kind to one another. I try to do this one person at a time.

They say every person is a novel. The joys and the sorrows that we each endure. We, too often, are so wrapped up in our own story that we ignor the depth of the story that is within every other person that we come across. But in realizing this, we share a bond with others and ease the pain of our sorrows and brighten the moments of joy. That is part of the magic of AJ's art: every song is a story and no one conveys those stories better than Angelina Jordan. That it goes beyond hearing those stories in her music to making us each a little more empathetic, a bit kinder in our day to day lives is truly magical and the highest calling of art. Thank you Bob for sharing your story. It has helped me in dealing with my own trials.

Thank you Bob, Alan and Pontus. I really hope that Angelina one day watch these podcasts. I don't think she is fully aware of what's going on. What she is capable of. One thing I know for sure, is that we are not talking about a regular artist with a talent. She is special. Music affects people, I know it does. But heal like that... well, she got to be one of a kind.

Steiner, thanks for your comment. One has to wonder if she does keep her ear to the ground, so to speak, regarding her fanbase. I agree with you in that I don't think its at the top of her radar as to how she affects people. Yes she is special. Somewhere along the way on her young journey of life, she recognized her calling to sing for the world. She used to say, "I want to be a superstar," and yet even then when she gave the little girl her shoes and told her that, she was already a superstar and she didn't know it.

A beautiful podcast! Bohemian Rhapsody was my first introduction to Angelina! I was so moved by her voice that I had to check this 13yr old out. Never in my life had I heard an Angel sing! It doesnt matter what genre she sings, I fall apart with either tears, smiles and pride in a girl who is not even my family. She's amazing!!

Bob, Alan, Pontus, thank you for meaningful content in this podcast. Absolutely there is "healing" in Angelina's singing voice. I picked up on it early on. Also, I could feel it affecting my own heart and spirit. That she carries healing in her voice (this is not under her control, she just loves to sing) was confirmed as I learned more about her and learned of the story about why Angelina sings barefoot. A soul contract occurred between those two young girls. And the vision that Angelina has reported----such connections to the visionary realm comes with healing. I can't imagine what it is like to hear her voice in person. I feel the healing just in these audio-videos. Anyway, thank you all for this encouraging content today. Grandma Ellen, out.

Yes, Adriaan, everyone should listen to Angelina. When Angelina sings something happens in and through her. It's an enigma really. She affects people emotionally. There are a lot of people who are not prepared to have that protective wall they have so carefully built around their heart, breached. And no less, breached by a child. But those that do allow that wall to be trespassed by the gift of Angelina are all the better for it.

Sorry, it took me a few days to get to this Podcast but I'm so glad I just watched it. Bob, I know exactly where you're coming from and you are an Angelina 'angel' through and through. The definition of being an Angelina 'angel' is that she is in your heart and will never leave you. Before I go any further I want to thank Alan and Pontus for another wonderful Podcast. These video's, without a doubt, will become collector's items. People twenty, thirty, forty years from now will see them and be able to get the feeling we all did when she was very young. Bob, you said something very dramatic which some people might think you were exaggerating. You said, "I would give up my life for this girl!" As I said some people might think you're exaggerating but, you know what, I believe there are more people that if confronted with a situation where they would be able to prevent her from absorbing harm, or even worse, as an example they would push her out of the way from an out of control bus and take the full impact themselves. Bob, I know you would. And so would I. Anybody who feels the same way, it doesn't mean they don't think very much of themselves. No. To the contrary they feel she is so important and must be protected for the sake of humanity they would make the ultimate sacrifice. I do admit I listen to a select number of other artists because I go back a long way with them. But, although I enjoy them very much, none of them touch me the way Angelina does. The magic (if you want to call it that) is her voice with all it's soulfulness and love is genuine and it is impossible for any other artist to replicate what she does. Bob, keep talking to your mom. She's there and she's thrilled you are reaching out to her. I personally go to a cemetery where 10 of my relatives are buried and whenever I go I speak to each one of them.

Another great podcast! On a side note, during an Instagram Livestream the other night, Angelina was at Republic Records celebrating Grandma Mery's Birthday when the fire alarms kept sporadically going off in the building. Apparently they just got a brand new smoke machine and it was setting off the alarms! LOL Firefighters came to the building even though Rob Christie thought he was able to call them early enough to let them know it was a false alarm. Some interesting bits of information were said during the livestream: 1. Angelina is working on a new music video 2. Angelina said that her new original music is coming out soon....very soon. Then just a short time later.... 3. Rob Christie mentioned to the firefighters that Angelina's new album is coming out in a couple of weeks and not a couple of months as was speculated. (Unless he misspoke...We were told that the new single would be coming out at the end of the month. Or maybe both are coming out at the same time!) Geez Bob, that's a tough one. Glad we have her for those who need her most for sure. Even the rest of us get something out of it as well. Maybe we don't need as much healing, or don't know it yet anyway. But we sure get more love and peace in our headspace day to day which is of course always welcomed. We all get that connection, which is wild, I don't know where she found that, or if we are just that in love with her and some other artists have that to an extent. It's funny really. Such an unhealthy thing, to find an online surrogate one would say. Way off base, but yet not in some emotional ways. We've got our connection. We don't have to stretch for it, don't have to fantasize and lie to ourselves. She doesn't have to open up and spend all day online talking to us. We just listen to music and she mostly just sings. It's wild, we spend way too much time with her, but it's actually healthy for us and absolutely a connection. She must be incredibly connected to her passion and in her words, 'sing for the world', her delivery is truly important to her. Undoubtedly a two way street. Which is why your emotional availability matters so much. Which is why some people love Taylor swift I suppose. Which is why I wonder who I'm shutting out. If others out there could connect with me, but they weren't this sweet kid with a gorgeous voice and unreal skills. Still though, hard to imagine letting anyone else in is as effective as letting her in, or as safe. So I'm glad you found her. Take some real credit for making use of her too, god, her, that isn't the two way street. Imagine being strong enough to face that 40 years later even with help. You let her in, and you let her help you tackle something real tough for any man. That was you Bob. A kid that strong and real can sure help inspire a new strength in you too though. No question. Being an empath, knowing she is and the world we left her, imagining everything she could ever go through, watching her trudge through to her dreams and her self like a soldier. How can you not get stronger. Nice shout out to your fellow angel who helped you press through those steps you still needed to take, good man. Great show again. When I think of explaining her effect, the connection as you aptly put it. I just think man that two way street back in the day, when she was a tike, what on earth did she let Billie Holliday and company do to her? I feel like that is what singing is to her, that connection. Odd she has gotten so good at singing, not necessary, but I still feel that way. She wants you to connect to her art in ways few have thought possible, but that she must have experienced herself. Like sure there are words and actual meaning in the songs, but an entirely different language we can understand intuitively and unconsciously involved as well. That's what she seeks to deliver. There is a purity in it, as unfair as it is, and as apt as it is to call her a siren with that voice and ability. Her plain as day desire to move people because she loved what those who moved her did for her.

Hello Ryan. I have been responding to comments for the past couple of hours and just came across your comment. I had to quickly say something rather than wait to do so. I will respond more at a later date. Thank you for putting so much ink on paper here. What you have written is beautiful and so thought provoking. Thank you.

@@BobBlair99 Yeah that was a gooder wasn't it. As long as Bob's cool with it anyway. Kind of you to say, thanks. I'm good on videos or whatever, not into that. But I don't consider words that leave my mouth or finger tips mine to do with as I please anymore. So you are welcomed to chat any time you want to talk AJ, I'd only be flattered.

@@BobBlair99 Oh shit this is THE Bob isn't it? Hahaha my god, my bad. Same message, just minus the Bob part, and with less of an assumption some video maker wanted to discuss my thoughts for some video. Also, glad you got it. Hope you're doing well and Pontus is giving you the rundown.

Would it be possible to have someone say in their 30s on your podcast? Isn’t there anyone in their youth you’d find interesting?

Nice to meet you Foghorn90 Leghorn. That bird was always my favorite cartoon growing up 🙂. I take it you are younger than this grey haired fella. I hope they do find someone younger to do an episode with. I think it would be a good balance.

@@BobBlair99 I'm likely older than both Alan and Pontus as a septuagenarian. My kids are young adults who have had no exposure to Angelina Jordan. I sent a link to a video of AJ's Million Miles to my daughter and she was not very moved by it. She is a fan of Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen and 70's music. I would like to see Alan and Pontus bring in younger fand and see what draws them to AJ. My concern is that AJ's music mostly attracts older people like me because of the nostalgic quality. She's taken songs like California Dreaming and reinvented them in very creative ways. The question is whether her new music retains her older base and adds a younger contingent.
