Key word is “Black”. beautyrest makes many models. So make sure it’s a Black. I went from 225 to 280 pounds. I’m a stomach and side sleeper. With out a doubt the best mattress in my life. I’m going on my 9th year and the Black is still firm. Only issue is my 115 pound girlfriend says it’s too firm for her. So I tell her she is free to go home. Because I’m sleeping in my bed. My next bed in a two years will be another Beautyrest Black and maybe I’ll switch to a little heavier girlfriend.
they booth seem like amazing mattresses but the zoned support on the Saatva catches my eye more, thinking it will help my back more. Thank you for another great review!
I choose Saatva! I have wanted one for a while now. I think it would provide enough support while on my stomach. Also enough pressure relief when on my side. Thanks for another great review!
I really like the Saatva models, especially either the Loom & Leaf all foam or the flippable Zenhaven. These beds just seem like they would be the better fit for me. I like that the Saatva is good for couples with good edge support and I do a lot of side sleeping - going from back to side so it seems that the Saatva would truly suit me.
I love the Beauty rest Hybrid. Because it sleeps cool, and hubby sleeps on his back and I am a combo sleeper. Plus I love the look of the mattress itself.
I think you should have pointed out the price differences in these two mattresses.; We went shopping and a King Beautyrest Black can approach $4500, with the Saatva being less than half of that??
A couple with a side and a back sleeper so the saatva is being ordered. Went with their great sounding mattress pad which will add some more padding for my wife the side sleeper. We are an older couple (70+) so the white glove delivery and removal of the old mattress was an important factor. Thanks for the review.
I love how you can show us the insides of these beds, best part of looking for a bed is to no and able to see the inside, I like the beauty rest for the Hybrid
I would go with the Saatva, it is a softer mattress for me as a side sleeper. I had a Beautyrest mattress in the past, it did not seem to hold up well over the years.had
I like the idea of the extra lumbar support on the Saatva, plus I had no idea they had a mattress for heavier sleepers, I'll definitely be checking that out.
Well since the Saatva has a softer version for me as a side sleeper I would have to lean that way. I also really like the the organic materials. It also seems The Saatva has a lot more too it in construction Also I have had a Beautyrest in the past and it lasted 6 months before it broke down and had a bad dip in the middle. SO I will never buy a Beautyrest again..
Ive been looking at a BeautyRest mattress, plush model as I'm old school & live alone, getting a mattress in a box is a bit difficult for me tho the Saavta does sound really nice. Do wish the names of the different big brand mattresses were uniform along stores so one can properly research each model...
I know this comment is old but just fyi Saatva mattresses don't come in a box. One of the only online mattress companies that do not compress their mattresses and put them in a box. They seem to have better construction than the box mattresses.
I'd choose the saatva mattress the plush version. I'm a side sleeper and I need a mattress that'll give me good support and will also give me relief at my pressure points
I like the Saatva for the medium firmness of the mattress, though the dual coils make it really bouncy. I prefer the Beautyrest Black’s gel infused foam for a cooler sleep but would go for the less firm hybrid version as I’m a side/back sleeper
#1 I bought the Saatva for X-Mas 2020 and it is the best mattress I've ever used buy far (Luxury Firm) and I just received my Saatva Luxury Eco-Certified Foam Topper and love it! It sleeps reallly cool and you wake up feeling energized. Without a doubt the Saatva is the best available with excellent customer service!
I like the Beautyrest, it has great support and the right firmness for us, it sleeps cool and is great for back and stomach sleepers. I am a combo but still think we might prefer the Beautyrest.
I always see Saatva commercials on TV Saatva sending out a barrage of commercials. I'm a side sleeper I'm also a light sleeper too. My mattress is killing my shoulders. Dexter Lombardo 🤠 🧔
Just comparing the two mattresses presented, the Beautyrest Black has a firmness of 8/10 which is likely too firm for side/combo sleepers whereas The Saatva medium firm is a 6.5/10 which works better for a combo sleeper.
Hey, I noticed that you did not mention the three firmness options on the Beautyrest. Was there a reason you didn't mention the Push and the Ultra plus Back Hybrid mattresses? Just an observation.
I have a simmons crown europlush beauty sleep. It's a queen and I need a king, but I can't find them anywhere now. Any reccomendations that are close to it?
I’ve been looking at the Saatva for awhile now. But not sure if it will work with my husband and I. We have traditional innerspring firm posture pedic bed(Simmons). We like it but we need a replacement. He likes firmer feel. But I’m usually a little sore in hip n shoulders. Both are back and side sleepers. Would you recommend the luxury firm? We recently purchased a Lucid 10” memory foam hybrid for our son. It’s too soft in our opinion. Would Saatva be much firmer?
Saatva is HORRIBLE!! Every bed they sent me was defective. I’m talking stained, stitching ripped out, then the wrong firmness was sent. After 8 months of being delivered defective crap I returned it and ordered a Four Seasons mattress. It’s coming next Friday. 🙌🏼
Im kind of sad...almost every bed listed in this video is much too firm for me as a side sleeper ...it was a great comparison and both beds are stunning in the way that they look but i would have to go with the Saatva Plush to have the right comfort layer for me as a petite side sleeper. Im hoping in time more brands start offering a model or two that will be perfect for side sleepers.
Hello, thank you and love your teams reviews. My wife and I are looking at the beauty rest hybrid or saatva classic luxury firm. We are both combo sleepers- side and stomach. We are both lighter weight, 125lb and 160lb. Which would you recommend based on that or do you have a different recommendation? Thanks so much!!
I'm so used to sleeping on my inner spring mattress so my first instinct is to navigate towards the saatva for its coil on coil design. I like the feeling of sleeping on top of the mattress. But this Beauty Rest looks and sounds great for someone who likes bounce too! I'd love to test out a hybrid for the preasure relief. I truly need to finally test out a foam mattress!! I'm a combo sleeper so the Saatva Luxury Firm model sounds right for me from what you said.
How do these compare to the memory foam mattresses? At the high level When these are on sale, they are sometimes pretty close in price. But normal MSRP have these at 3x 4x the standard high quality memory foam
Could you do a review for Beautyrest Imperial Baymore? Only sold by SleepCountry and I cannot find any reviews or additional information about it. If not, do you know the type of coils being used for the Imperial series? BIG THANKS!
Neither are really for me. I tried both out and they were too firm for me. Im a side and and need something with pressure relief and more contouring. The Saatva felt a little better but not enough that i would get one and the Beautyrest was way too firm with no give whatsoever. I really like the Loom&leaf and the Zenhaven though, those got more of what i want in a bed but are kind of expensive
