The sabbath is very important. But why do they talk about Sunday. In the bible the sabbath is on Saturday. The seventh day is the Saturday, or as from the creation Shabbath

God set aside and Sanctified the Seventh-day as Sabbath to the Lord. The 4th Commandment is not up for God’s creation to alter dissect or change.

Scripture clearly says ‘Because *Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.’* Genesis 26:5. *Who gave Abraham these* “My commandments, My statutes, and My laws”?* This verse is especially significant because it shows that the laws of God existed long before they were given to Israel through Moses.* Not only did Abraham obeys what God told him to do [example: leaving his homeland and willing to sacrifice his son, Isaac], *but he also obeyed God’s commandments, statutes and laws.* *There are more examples of people having knowledge of God’s Law prior to its codification* on Mount Sinai. *Noah* understood the laws about clean and unclean meats [Gen.7:2]. The Law was later recorded in Leviticus 11. *Joseph* understood the commandment against adultery when Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce him [Gen. 39:7-] *Since Abraham obeyed God’s voice and kept His commandments hundreds of years before Moses,* surly those commandments must have been known before Mount Sinai. God’s Word tells us that sin is breaking God’s Law [1 John 3:4]. *The Living Word refers to sin a number of times before the time of Moses [Gen. 4;7; **13:13**; **18:20**; 39:9; **42:22** and **50:17** -etc]. God’s Law must have been revealed, at least to some people. The Bible gives evidence that the Ten Commandments were known and understood as been important.* *The First and Second Commandment* says: Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image…. 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them….’ [Exodus 20:3-5] *Hundreds of years earlier God worked with the patriarch Jacob. After God spoke to Jacob, notice what he did with the idols which were amongst house-hold.* Genesis 35: 1 And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother. 2 *Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among* you, and be clean, and change your garments: 3 And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went. 4 *And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.* We can clearly see that Jacob understood the importance of getting rid of idol and only worshipping the true God. etc etc

The Sabbath is the seventh day, according to the Bible. It is a holy day because God sanctified the 7th day after creation. It is a day of worship first, then fellowship. This documentary mingles the Sabbath, Sunday worship, or any other day you "can" choose to rest for other reasons than worshipping. In doing so, this film does not explain the true Sabbath but an "ecumenical" day of rest that suits everyone.

Jesus attended Sabbath on a Saturday. God has set that day to meet with you. Imagine you attend Sabbath on a Sunday! You missed the meeting with God! Sabbath is not own your own time. It's God's time with you. Another part of celebrating the Sabbath is in Isaiah 58:13-14 which has been forgotten by most Christians. You cannot change God's Law to serve your own ideas of rest.

As a nurse who was a clinical trial nurse 🤔, I can share there has been " White papers" > done onnthe studies on how resting from regular life duties & cares of life > 1 day a week. So they tested everyday of the week with groups of people. Only the 7th day of the week proved great psychological & mental & physical benefits. Then they tested Why & exactly how this happens > the deeper you go into it the more profound. But apparently our cells only "reset" best on the 7th day. Just like a cell phone & computer. ( Now daily our cells also reset if in obedience to the Circadian Rythm daily body clock, but the 7th day rest > IS unique. Blessings ❤️. A true documentary on the Sabbath is the one with Hal Holbrook. This is mingling truth with error, like how satan told Eve that she would surely not die ... Which is what has lead to lie about going straight to heaven or hell after death , or hanging around some place to wait to be considered good enough to go to heaven, or being reincarnated into something else or someone else. There is nothing more egregious than to presume that man has the authority to change what God has created, sanctified and hollowed. Beginning with the Roman Catholic Church, this heiracy that a human counsel has the authority to change God's holy Sabbath day from the seventh day, to the first day of the work week. They have passed on this heiracy to the proffessed Protestant churches. These churches aren't actually Protestant at all, because they no longer protest against the heretical teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The worst is Sun-day worship, because pagan Roman were sun worshippers who worshipped on Sun-day. They have made a common day holy and a holy day common. People go shopping on God's Sabbath, play football, watch TV and do their own pleasure doing other things on this holy day of worship. The seventh day is Saturday, not Sunday. The Bible is clear that the Sabbath is the day between Good Friday and the first day day (Sunday). It is the last day of the week, not the first day. There is no record of any such change in the Bible, including the five misinterpreted first day of the week scriptures. The Sabbath is not Sunday and people worship God in vain in that day.

As a Seventh-day Adventist, we keep the Sabbath and have worship that day.

I believe it was the first Pope who changed Worship days from Saturday to Sunday. ( almost like he was adding to the bible as you read > how he says it )....... I challenge everyone to read the last few verses in the Bible to help one have more discernment.

The number 7 is mentioned many times in the bible but often overlooked by Christian believers as irrelevant but to God the number as huge significance. Apart from being his favorite number it represents completeness. The Sunday Sabbath, what an oxymoron, or either is Sunday, or is Saturday, this documentary is full of confusion. The Bible only talks about the sabbath, which is Saturday, the Bible do not teach to worship on the day of resurrection Sunday, by men changing one day to another for convenience and being this day so important in the Bible, in the 4th commandment, we need to be awake. Men cannot change times, and this is exactly what Daniel 7:25 tell us.

To say that in Colos 2:16,17 is about the seventh day Sabbath which was created in Genesis 2:1-3 is to insult the Creator making Him as Creator of sin creating in Genesis 2:1-3 the Sabbath to be as SHADOW about His body on the cross for sins. A true Bible student will clearly see that in Colos 2:16,17 is about the ceremonial Sabbath days given by the moon and by the new moon to be as shadow referring His body on the cross for sins. The ceremonial Sabbath days was given also to always remember their sins until the power of the sin will be destroyed by Christ crucified for sins. I do wonder about the Sabbath because even though Jesus came not to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it with the new covenant, he never changed the Sabbath. He never said, "we will now have the Sabbath on Sunday - because of my Resurrection or Sunrise." It all points to being man-made and off track. There has never been a prophecy about it either - as far as I know.

This misses the essence of what the Sabbath is. The book to the Hebrews explains the Sabbath. It is resting IN GOD. That is: When you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts. That is: Whenever God speaks, you will obey and not harden your heart. You will be completely connected to the Comforter and always obey Him. That is what living out the Sabbath actually means. It is not merely a religious duty. It is a LIFE IN GOD.

The problem with this video is it incorporates the biblical Sabbath ( sundown Friday through Sundown Saturday ) with the traditional keeping of Sunday worship. when half the pastors on here are talking about Sabbath rest and they are Baptist they mean Sunday and not the biblical Sabbath. The other half such as the Rabbi's and historians are talking about the biblical day of rest, so you don't get a clear distinction between the man-made day of rest ( Sunday ) and the Sabbath of Creation in the Ten Commandments. Emperor Justinian gave all power and authority over the Roman Empire to the bishop of Rome, and in 538 A.D. Justinian gave the church the army of Rome to help enforce religious dogma and punish anyone who resisted church authority and tradition. In 1798 A.D. during the French Revolution and the heart of the Protestant Reformation, Napoleon grew tired of the Pope and the church's interference with his campaign to conquer Europe, In 1798 A.D. the church received a deadly wound from Napoleon when his general Berthier marched on the Vatican and captured the Church, the Pope, and its Priest ending the church's authority and religious tyranny over Europe. Revelation 12 predicted the flight of God's real church into the lonely and wild places of the earth to escape the beast power, that the dragon ( Satan ) used to persecute and stamp out the fullness of light in God's word, but as usual God's word doesn't fall void and he raised up Napoleon to fulfill Revelation 12 and bring her tyranny and the Pope's authority to an end. However, the Bible says that the wound would be healed, and in 1933 the Catholic Church made a pact with Mussolini to gain control back over Italy if they supported the Axis powers in the upcoming war, WWII. Now 80 years later the Pope and the Catholic church are back in full swing with their prominence of authority and influence over the Countries of the world, and even the United States honors and welcomes him as the Holy Father when he visits our country. I don't know about ya'll but my Bible the KJV says to call only one Father Holy, and that's my Father in Heaven. With everything the RCC has done throughout history in the persecution of Go'd people and the stamping out the truth of God's word as in Daniel 8, which says this power would think to change times and laws appointed by God, he would speak blasphemies against the most high ( forgiveness of sins, and being equal to God ) and he would cast the truth to the ground and he would prosper by doing it! Has the RCC prospered? She is the richest organization on the planet, Sunday worship, the eternal soul doctrine, and eternal hell doctrines are still taught in most churches to this very day and they all originated in Rome through pagan-inspired culture and philosophies. In Revelation 17 the great harlot, the whore of Babylon ( Babylon being false teachings and doctrines ) has harlot daughters these daughters are the protestant churches who still adhere to the False Babylonian doctrines that the RCC brought into Christianity. While I believe people from all churches and Christian Faiths will be saved, it is quite evident by history alone in correlation with the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation that the RCC is the beast power, the position and the authority of the Pope is Anti-Christ, and it will be the enforcement of Sunday worship upon the world through the union of the U.S. and Catholic Church that will be the Mark of the beast. However, the Biblical Sabbath denotes allegiance and loyalty to God as sovereign and supreme ruler, and creator. The choice is coming people, so get ready, you'll either accept Sunday/the mark or reject it, keep true to God's word and his Sabbath, and be sealed with the Holy Spirit as part of God's chosen people which is the Israel that is actually taught in the N.T.

Sabbath worship is not the same as sunday worship, the first one is according to the commandment, the second according to Constantine, God given vs man given

Sabbath is Saturday sunrise to Sunday sunrise. Don't follow the catholic calendar nor the jewish calendar. Follow the Hebrew calendar.

Sabbath is Saturday. This is not good. It could hurt real Sabbath keepers.

Instead to search even for the verses written in the Law of Moses which in John 1:45 they was helping them to find Christ. But what about finding all verses which Jesus explained in Luke 24:27,44 to make heart burn(Luke 24:32) in Rev 3:15,16 etc. They pretend to be CHRISTians without knowing Christ(John 1:45 Luke 24:27,44) because Colos 1:26 make clearly that only to SAINTS(Rev 14:12) is revealed God’s MYSTERY called Christ(Colos 2:2,3).

They even said 7th day is God's 4th commandment and they are OK with 1st day as worship day? Deceiving people with craftiness of word of their own. Persecution is coming for the 7th day Sabbath keepers by 1st day keepers. Blue law of Sunday will be enacted soon. People do not have discernment. Please God open their eyes to see their unbelief.

As a Christian you don’t celebrate the sabbath on the right day.

We are to remember "THE" Sabbath day, not "A" Sabbath day. There is only one Sabbath day and that is Saturday, the seventh day. If you say "A" Sabbath day it could be any day. That is called manipulating the Scriptures to support what you believe, and not what God says.
