I am still debating which way to go . The lower extended rail or this new extended shroud. My reasoning is the weak point on the the three top rail screws from FX. Especially the two smaller long Allen screws . You are asking those screws to hold the scope and the load on a bipod . The lower rail has beefier screws to do the job and it only has to support the bipod . The other question would be if you have seen any improvement in accuracy between the two ? Bling is one thing , reliable function and accuracy is another . Then there is the price of $150.00 vs. $250.00 . I’m leaning more to the lower rail unless you have seen any improvements down range with one over the other .
I see what you mean 👍 I am not worried about the screws that hold the rail in place , almost the 3 of them the can hold a lot specially in the direction the forces will be applied in my opinion. I haven’t had the chance to see if I get different results between a bottom mounted bipod or a over the barrel one simple because I don’t have a over the barrel one …. Just yet 😉
Interesting part. But I believe this directly impacts barrel harmonics. Free floating barrel is gone then. I think the barrel tuner is after installing the rail and 12 o'clock bipod obsolete. What do you think?
Indeed the barrel clamp fixes the barrel and not free floating anymore, if the barrel tuner still has a affect I still have to test . But it will be interesting to see what will be more accurate with clamp and without barreltuner or without clamp and with tuner 🤔

Airbuks, When do you think Saber Tactical will come up with a dolly wheel attachment so I can haul my highly modified 50 pound Impact around . 😁 Kidding aside , nice video and sharp looking rail .
🤣🤣 you are 100% right , a dolly could come in handy to go to the range. But once at the bench it’s all beneficial 😉 they do make some great accessories 👍
First happy new year mate, Great video. Question so looking at trs rail the only thing I worry about my .25 m3 shooting great at the moment but obviously I've not taken my barrel off yet , Is the a special way it goes in as there is a slug and pellets port. Also what do you think of the clamps that just go round the bottle and barrel do you think that would stiffen the barrel ..? Thank you..
Hi , happy new year to you aswel! The clamp doesn’t stiffen the barrel it’s there to hold it and make sure the poi doesn’t change when conditions change and the barrel is in line with the scope rail . Works great as long as you don’t use the clamp and a over the barrel bipod, if you understand what I mean . The barrel is easy to turn around and flip from pellet side to slug side . What is the question about that actually
@Airbuks Hi mate , yes the barrel when you slide it back in , I wasn't sure if there was a correct way to put it in? Or it dosnt matter which way it goes in I am shooting pellets and slugs at the moment. Thank you..
What about 500with standard shroud, (not compact shroud) because i will use 22 500mm and 25cal 700mm if i install the standard TRS shall i be able to use the original 500mm shroud and the hollow silencer that came with the gun?
🤔 for me I only have experience with 2 brands and that’s Donny and Huma . If you go for most quite I would always look for the biggest expansion chamber so a Ronin / Emperor or a Huma mod 50 ( you can make it longer or shorter) . I know these are huge moderators but if you can live with a little big more noise and not the quietest a fat boy 2.0 or a shorter mod 50 is a good middle ground

@@nickvanderheijden5574 Interesting! I’ve heard the TRS with the band does help keeping a good POI incase of accidental knocks to the barrel out in the field, which would make sense.
@@Airbuks Krale in Holland promissed they would arive soon but still nothing there... I need the power block, tungsten hammer, upgrade pin in brass for regulator, 800mm barrel, barrel tensioner kit... you name it ... and you can not buy it... 🤣

🤔 I also don’t see it , but as I explained in the video the adapter piece will be a limited run as in there next batch they make the TRS rail a touch shorter to eliminate that adapter. If you need it you can send them a mail I guess

Saber Tactical should have given the shroud extender to customers that originally bought this for their 600mm barreled Impacts. Originally their website said that this fit a 600mm barreled impact then they changed their website giving the length of rail but not saying it wouldn’t fit a 600mm barrel without some modification. I feel this was a cheesy way of shirking responsibility for bad information to their customers. I wrote to them about it and never heard back.
@@Airbuks can you pair trs with tension barrel? I have CF instaled too. Do you think all those three improvments work hand in hand together? Thanks for help!
@@SHOOTER3258 yes you can pair it but you need the correct barrel clamp as the tensioning kit is thinner . They work hand in had and should give you a improvement 👊
