Saddlemen Solo Seat for Indian Chief - First Ride Review 

The Saddlemen seat is 100 percent better than the stock seat. I always found when I had the stock seat I felt like was sliding off the back. The Saddlemen will also feel a lot better as you put more km’s on it.

Man, that seat looks great and looks like a lot of thought behind the construction of it. Best looking and my favorite bike on YT.

I bought the exact same seat for the exact same bike. Mine is a 2023 Chief Dark Horse in Sage Brush. Love the seat. It's MUCH better than the stock seat. After about 2 hours on the stock seat, my tailbone started hurting. I can ride for hours on the new seat with no issues. It's also a better looking seat. I'm only about 100 miles in on the new seat so still some breaking in to do. My only issue with the new seat is the gap between the seat and the gas tank. It's a bit wider than I would like and I think water getting in there from rain or a wash could be problematic for the electronics. However, when I contacted saddlemen about it, they said it's the standard setup and not an issue. It definitely holds you in place when you give the throttle a good twist. Overall i'm very happy with the seat.

I have been waiting to hear you thoughts on th Saddlemen seat, so far all seems good. I have recently bought a 2023 Streetbob and the seat is torture, Today I rode 248 k's and had to stop 4 times to relive my backside and lower back....Your initial comments are enough for me to order the same seat for my bike.... Looks much better than the stock seat-the Saddlemen hugs the rear fender a bit higher, and the stitching is perfect. To me your upper leg is almost parallel to the ground now, whereas with the stock seat your knee was higher. Hope that mod improves your riding experience. Cheers!

I have the same seat on my super chief the extra rise at the back is good for keeping you in the saddle and the saddleman seat was easier to break in over a corbin seat. Cheers

I have a StreetBob and I'm contemplating this seat. Keen to hear an update 6 months later, to see if the seat lived to its comfort expectations.

Just looking at the bike and you sitting on the bike it looks like it will be very difficult for tne seat to fit the shape of the bike and still be comfortable . I just got a new Kawasaki Z900RS SE and the ergonomics appear to be very good but I'll need a longer ride to figure it out. I'm use to some kinda of windscreen but so far at break in speeds it is just fine. I look forward to more dial in videos in your Indian.

Saddleman seats take about 1000 miles to break in, they get much more comfortable- I have a step up one for my chief

Installed and tested during 300 kms. Uninstalled and right now for sale. I'm very disappointed, not confortable at all, too wide for my inseam (30 inch) specially when i stand up and too firm. i also prefer the look of the stock seat. Now i realize how good is my Indian's Syndicate extenden reach seat.
