Well actually my rabbit lives outside in a heated house and his house is always 68 degree's Fahrenheit so he is always nice and warm so I don't see whats wrong with a bunny living outside as long as there not on wire bottom flooring 😁

Almost everything now is processed. Hay, fresh veggies, treats, toys, etc are all treated & processed in some form, so it doesn’t make sense to avoid very helpful supplements because they’re in a cookie form. The digestive support tablets have many sources of prebiotics which are proven to be beneficial in rabbits. They feed the gut flora & provide additional gut motility support ☺️ At the end of the day, it’s all about what works best for your bunny! I try to find as many science-based resources as possible to backup my claims, so here are some about prebiotics. Unprocessed sources of carbohydrates & starches like fruits, veggies, and grains are also largely culprits of GI problems because they are also difficult-to-digest foods.

I like to just use a dehydrator and put fresh organic fruit in it and so then j know EXACTLY what is in the treats, and my bun LOVES them!!

Glad you covered the pineapple issue. I’ve read in many articles that freeze-dried fruit is much healthier than dried fruit because the drying/dehydration process kills many of the natural nutrients. The Oxbow treats she mentions are freeze dried and are very good. I also buy freeze-dried fruit from an Etsy seller called FreshlyPreserved (one word). They don’t sell organic, but their fruit has no other ingredients. My bun loves their pears (cut in tiny cubes, so they are great for bun treats). They also sell a few freeze-dried veggies safe for rabbits like kale and pumpkin.

I make my own treats! Lots of hay (I've used timothy and orchard) blended with whatever rabbit safe fruits and/or veggies we have around the house, and sometimes a few herbs/flowers (ensure they are either made specifically for rabbits with no additives or grown without chemicals) then spread on a clean dehydrator mat and let it go overnight. You can add water if the mixture is too thick or dry, when it's finished in the dehydrator everything will stick together just fine. Cut into appropriate sized portions and feed safely! My bun goes absolutely wild for these. Honestly. I think she likes them as much as bananas and carrots.

I disagree with one thing but otherwise it’s an amazing video 😊 Seeds can help in shedding season so the fur won’t get stuck. The oily & fatty seed is aiding a faster digestion of the fur.

Agreed! So many people have a stigma against seeds because it's true that you don't want to feed a pellet mix that includes seeds, nuts, etc. but this does not mean that all seeds are dangerous for rabbits. Black Oil Sunflower Seeds are great for exactly what you said. I do avoid smaller seeds simply because they can be more of a choking hazard but larger seeds like BOSS and pumpkin are totally safe and can add valuable nutrients to the diet if offered in responsible dosages!

Banana is furs favourite treat! She’s crazy for dandelion root, dried nettles and the occasional dandelion flower! She’s got apple sticks currently but isn’t showing much interest! Finally found one thing she doesn’t like just yesterday, that’s hibiscus! She likes blueberry but seems to make a poop soft do they are not fed at all, not even as a treat!

Roses are easy as hell to grow where I live in California I have 5 big bushes of all kinds of colors and I've never had to use any pesticides luckily for my bun so she her daily flower during the summer

The only stick one of my buns will chew on is bamboo. I've tried willow, peeled willow, apple, birch, and every other kind I could find. He would just look at me like "what do you think I am, a rabbit?" I even found someone selling willow sticks encrusted with herbs. He literally licked the herbs off of the stick. Not a single bite mark on it. But bamboo? He goes wild. 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️

I've got a few rose bushes in my garden and they grow without any help (we just prone once a year)(I'm in the UK). They been in the garden for years so all chemicals have been washed away and my rabbit loves to eat them. Lavender not something i would feed. It's fine if they nibble on it now and again but not something i would feed due to the oils. Personally Plantain is my favourite plant to feed as it's full of fibre, good for digestive and almost as good as hay.

Mine risked her life and got a small cut under her chin somehow when she jumped on my bed then like jumped 3 feet straight up onto my shelf to get ahold of the bag of butter fingers and when I found her there was already like 40% of a fun size butterfinger missing. She also loves to rob me while I eat she does everything in her power to get to me and will bite my paper plate with Food from me and no joke won't let go and shakes the plate and everything on it all over as i scream "Nigel!! Stop please, ok, ok, you win please, stops here! Your really gonna rob me like this.!" she goes for the make a mess and then grabs what ever she can in her cute ass theif mouth and take off as fast as she can to try and eat it. One time I thought I got everything picked up but didn't see the chicken nugget until she had already eaten the half of the out side breading part. She has no chill.

my rabbit got out of an enclosure (he is free roam, but we were reinforcing litter habits after he had some accidents) and he got into a plate of xmas cookies and chocolates that were on the couch. completely fine. he had zero reaction (honestly he has a stomach of steel) but i was watching him like a HAWK for days and immediately changed his litter so i could easily see the size and frequency of his poops.

What is your opinion on the oxbow digestive support supplement? Do you think it’s harmful to give my bun? I’ve seen people say it can help prevent GI stasis and slowdowns. I feel my Holland lop limitless Timothy hay, 1 cup of approved leafy greens, and 1/8th cup Timothy hay pellets, and 1 digestive supplement a day. Please lmk if you think I’m putting my guy at risk ❤️

Yes enless there is a actual medical reason that you are feeding them then I would suggest not feeding them anymore,I also have two Holland lops! A harlequin called cocoa and a sable point/seal point called Jenga

Oxbow's urinary support and digestive support are wonderful to give!! We recommend them in my rabbit care group I am a member of on Facebook. They most certainly will not hurt your bunny.

My bun is only 5 months old. I recently tried feeding him banana, and carrot and apple and he was not interested in the slightest. He loves cilantro, romaine and carrot tops. He doesn’t really like green leaf lettuce or bok choy, he will let it sit for awhile and eventually eat it. His favorite treat is Timothy pellets, I can’t imagine taking those away from him, I throw them into a forage box when I’m going in and out of his cage as a distraction.
