Roy was already "chumpatized" because he thinks that damn movie was real. People like myself know the so-called "documentary" was a scripted fake and a fraud.
Roy, did you know that Billy Mitchells 1982 Donkey Kong arcade world record was already broken by Tim Sczerby in 2000. Roy, could you explain how you were trying to help Steve take down Billys long standing 1982 score in what amounts to a fictional movie instead of a documentary? Roy, do you agree with the way Tim was treated by both Twin Galaxies and the film makers? It would be so nice for you to answer these questions.
Roy, how can you even think that The King of Kong is a real documentary when the real life 1982 arcade record breaker and record holder at the time was never mentioned or included but covered up with defamation and lies instead. What are your thoughts on that?
OMG..... Just give it a rest. You probably got the scores, no doubt. You are obviously passionate about Missile Command. The Mr. Awesome stuff I don't really get. It kind of hurts your credibility and doesn't help your cause, but that is your thing and I looked beyond it to see the issue of your high scores. It doesn't matter what anybody thinks, though. What matters is what YOU think. YOU know that you made these scores, and that is all that matters; you can live the rest of your life smiling. Oh, and those jerks that you keep crying about are getting what they deserve, now. Look them up and laugh at the videos about them. It keeps me entertained. High scores are kind of pointless, as there are too many factors in play (you guys would have to play on the same machine at an event with referees for it to really matter), and most people no longer know what most of these games are. The games are awesome, though. You all need to get people interested in these games so that they can be preserved. Once people play them and give them a chance, they will love them. Oh, and tell your wife how it is and get your machine back. Keep it.
I agree intellectually it's a bit of a lost cause and arguably pathetic in some ways, but something about Roy makes me love him and the drama is just entertaining. Out of all the old guys, Roy, Robert, Dwayne, Bill Bastable, etc are finally being seen as the real legends and the fakes like Billy Mitchell, Todd Rogers, Chris Ayra to some extend, and their lackeys are finally all being seen for what they are. Decades late, but still. I'll take all the Roy Shildt I can get.
