I lost life in my body in 2014 due to my eating disorder. CPR was performed and I was admitted several times over the course of 10 years, many countless times in and out of rehabilitation centers. Looking back I was blaming myself for the sexual abuse I went through as little as 5 years old to 17 years old. Now I have been married for 8 years and have 3 beautiful children. God is my only miracle that I’m alive and well today♥️♥️ hope this encourages anyone. Let me say that it doesn’t matter what the scale says, it’s what’s on the inside that truly matters in addition to what God thinks of us and that is just so beautiful and profound.

I don't usually comment. But Devin, you are such a light Jesus. Seeing how you radiate joy in your videos, and seeing the deep faith and trust in the Lord behind the joy you express is truly a living testimony to the beauty of Jesus. It is so refreshing to see you step out in faith with boldness and expose the schemes of the enemy. The Lord is using you in more ways than you know. Keep going and spreading the good news!! :)

I wish my adolescent self could have seen this podcast 10 years ago. 😢 my dad walked in on me trying to make myself sick in the midst of an “episode”. Something like this definitely would have shown me this wasn’t normal or okay.

I enjoyed y’all’s honesty on the pressure to praise in a way you may not naturally praise god. I went to a mega church from age 10-16 and the reason I left, was the overwhelming feeling of PRESSURE. Like we weren’t even there for god anymore, we were there to raise our hands to prove we worshipped. I praise god at home everyday, and I still long to find a church that feels authentic and not corporate/ performative.

When Devin talked about her diabetes diagnosis with weight gain!!! So relatable and relieving to hear a newly diabetic go through the same struggles.. I still struggle with the weight gain from insulin 3 years in because I was also so tiny for so long and then boom you put a lot on and it’s hard to accept at first but it’s healthy and we are still beautiful in this form

I’m 22 still comparing my body to my 16 body. But I learned that growing up is such a privilege it’s self. And imagine how boring the world would be if everybody looked the same ❤ limiting social media is so important bc our brains feeds what we consume

Thankful for you and this message. I have been struggling a lot with my body changing after having a baby. My baby turns one at the end of the month and I’ve really struggled with the fact that my body is different, but I’m working on embracing that it’s because I literally grew a human inside me, and that is what my body is made for. Thank you ❤❤

One of the best podcast to date of yours. I am new to the faith & newly baptized- your channel is very inspiring as a new believer. I am originally from Northern California & religion wasn’t/isn’t big there, so when I moved to SW Georgia, I quickly realized how important Jesus is and how I don’t know how I lived so many years without Him. Anyways, I saw all that to say, thank you for doing this podcast. It’s something I really look forward to. ❤️

I’m a little later than usual but my GRACIOUS WHAT A GOOD EPISODE ! I feel like this should be broadcasted to young girls , this is SO relatable and would’ve helped me so much growing up. Also , Dev , I FULLY feel what you were saying about being pregnant and not liking how things look on you - I’m 3 months and just look bloated and I wanna get to the “ cute “ preggy part 🤣 but thank you guys 🥺❤️

I just moved to Alabama (springville 30 mins outside Bham) from CT 1.5 years ago with my husband and 3 young kids. The isolation I felt and still sometimes feel being away from my family is so real. It’s very tough. We homeschool so I started making friends for myself and my kids through groups but we still are struggling with a church community here. We tried a bunch but got so sick of being the new people it was exhausting always telling our story but this just gave me the want to try another one this coming Sunday in hopes that it will finally be a good fit for my family and I. Devin your podcast is quickly becoming my favorite! It’s just pouring into me. Thank you.

I just listened to this and my what an encouragement! I can relate to Sage with the Hashimotos and moving somewhere new, trying to find my own community and friends outside of my husband’s as I moved to his hometown when we got married. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear these things spoken about in such an uplifting way. ❤

This episode resonated with me so much! I struggled with an eating disorder for many years and some of the things Sage said were so similar to my way of thinking during that time period. I’m so grateful and thankful for God! He heard my prayers, He knew my heart, and I found true healing in Him!🩵

Devin, please stop saying, "Me & (someone's name)." That is not correct & very annoying. You should say, "(Someone's name) & I."
