Today Ho Chi Minh city is overrun with American tourists, American and France companies and banks occupy the office buildings in District 1, people walk around in luxury designer brands in Landmark 81 while others are getting evicted from their land just outside the city. Is Saigon really free?
@@derstoffausdemderjoghurtis While it is courageous the Vietnamese people had won their independence with hard struggle, from the point of view of the historical subject - the proletariat, this freedom is not complete, even with the blood and sweat the Vietnamese people had paid for it.
They're just building state+private capital to stablish a good healthcare and socioeconomic system under the US Global Hegemony (thank Gorbachev, lad got paid by Soros and the CIA and now communists must collaborate with demons, i mean, corporatists)
The matter is that the proletarian revolution in Vietnam was overrun by the Bukharinite reforms that infected many socialists nations during the 80s and 90s, mainly due to the widespread corruption of the socialist system by the Gorbachevite and Dengist revisionists. Vietnam now follows a "emergency plan" for survival due to being one of the last truly socialist nations alive in the 21th century - this being applying state capitalism. DPRK is probably the only one not applying such methods, and the imperialist core keeps degrading them due to it.@@JH-uk3ze
