The Monsters of Rock Cruise (monstersofrockcruise.com) was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. I saw some of the best rock bands, in my opinion, in the history of the music. I met some of my rock idols and many other like-minded people that I share the same passion with: music. I made friends with follow passengers that I am still in contact with today.
The organizers of the cruise were very professional and pulled off a complex event like it was no problem at all. Everything went perfectly smooth. There was a schedule of concerts, photo ops and other events like ‘cooking with the stars’ and bowling matches for charity. There was so much happening at all times that it was almost difficult to plan your time to see your favorite bands and partake in the events. However, you didn’t have to miss anyone in case of scheduling conflicts because all bands played at least twice.
There were excursions to a private island (Great Stirrup Cay) and The Bahamas, events, activities, Q&A with the bands, access to fitness center, pools, jacuzzis, casino, disco/night club...
The talent on this year’s cruise was unprecedented: Helloween, Sebastian Bach, Helix, Hellion, Tesla, Extreme, Soto, Vixen, Lillian Axe, Madam X, Uli Jon Roth, Doro, Saigon Kick, Steve Vai and many more were all incredible!
This video is a short summary of my time on this cruise. I couldn’t include all the concerts and activities because there were just too many to fit. It would take hours to show all the great moments. Also, just because I left someone out doesn’t mean I don’t like them. Some footage wasn’t up to par or maybe I just ran out of memory or batteries. I took the best footage of what I had to create this - I hope you like it and we can meet on MORC 2017!
I really enjoyed it immensely and plan to return every year.
