What you said about her initial Metal growl is actually deliberate on the vocalist's part. Regan is the name of the singer of SAISEIGA and she very much likes playing with the versatility of her voice in her singing and she does this also with her growl, as she uses 3 different levels: 1) It's her higher end growl which sounds more like a gruff shout that sounds like it hurts to do it, like you said. 2) It's a mid-level growl that's a little deeper and more of an actual Metal growl that doesn't sound strained. 3) Finally, her full deep Metal growl that some compare to Tatiana's deep growl. SAISEIGA is one of the newest J-Metal bands from Japan that formed in 2020 and they have only started to get noticed recently with their 2nd album. The name of the band members are Regan (singer), Kiriko (Drums), Wakkun (Guitarist) and Katsuki (Bass.) I'm glad you enjoyed this song and hope you will considering continuing with more reactions and reviews to their music! I would recommend their song "Ride On" next if you'd like to continue hearing more from SAISEIGA. :)
Ich liebe Reactions :) Ich habe schon so viele Bands/Künstler kennengelernt die ich niemals auf dem Schirm gehabt hätte. Oder die ich einmal gesehen habe und direkt abgetan habe. Ich bin auch der Meinung das es egal ist ob ein Reactor "meine" Künstler abfeiert oder eher nicht. Darauf sollte es nicht ankommen so lang man Respektvoll bleibt, denn Geschmäcker sind nun einmal (Gott sei dank) verschieden. Natürlich gibt es auch Sachen die ich nicht feiere aber allein die Tatsache das man halt doch das eine oder andere für sich findet ist fein. Mach weiter so :)
Das Album "The Sun" ist allgemein schon ziemlich geil und abwechslungsreich. Tatsächlich gibts zu einigen Songs der Band auch Playthrough-Videos aller Band-Mitglieder inklusive Vocals. Ich liebe Regan's Stimme allein schon weil sie so ungewöhnlich ist. Ich liebe diese tiefe Klangfarbe die sie hat und die kratzigen Clean-Vocals. Sie hat, zusammen mit Saiseiga Drummerin Tohko, vorher auch unter dem Namen Azul in der band Zettai Club gesungen, dort allerdings mit wesentlich mehr Clean-Anteil.
