A never before featured engine on the channel. Based on my inital inspection I deem this engine to need a break in run.

Great break in run, that's the way usually SAITO engines do since new. Love the look of golden knight line.

What a beautiful engine. As much as I love OS engines I think Saito's hemi head design gives them more power, especially in the bigger engines. And then there is YS, another ball game all together.

Hi David, great run of this 115GK for sure. A badly needed piece of advice: a bloke managed to mis-time my FA-220, I'd given it to him for a full bearing replacement. I'm rather pissed off with this and may try doing it on my own: what has to come off in order to re-do the timing? The head, back plate, what else? Thanks in advance, Harry.

Perhaps this video will answer your questions. The cam followeres in the 120 and up are larger on the bottom and cannot be inserted in to the case from the top. So timing is a bit more challenging. Rear cover, head, timing cover. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4g0ql9dtv-o.html

Do you fly anymore at all or just run engines ? Would much rather see these in a plane flying

In each of my video descriptions is a video link that will answer your question. If you wold prefer to see these engines in an airplane flying then you need to purchase them, build and fly the planes yourself. Isn’t this an interactive hobby where you DO and not observe?

In my experience caster oil has had its day. I always use synthetic and rarely have trouble.

Castor oil being all natural will never become obsolete. It is superior to synthetic oil in many ways.
