me, who is both south east asian (part filipino) and unemployed (I have yet to get gold sadly, but I almost did in the big big run. 6 away from it to be specific) also hard agree on for players to use their specials. I used to be one of the peeps who try to save for the third round but realized if we can at least get to the third round in the first place, we won't get any pay cuts from losing. True. I have never enjoyed a shooting game more than Salmon Run. I played Left 4 Dead recently for the first time and I feel like life runs at 0.1x speed when I play that game.
After staying up late to obtain all 999 badges, my tips are paint the floors and walls as much as possible, be evasive as possible, get rid of Flyfish and Stinger you will have a hard time later since more will arrive, when dealing with Big Shots have someone stay by the basket or your eggs will be taken away and lure as much as you can, last tip, USE YOUR SPECIALS

at around 6.7k shifts with multiple 200+ egg scores (im not an overfisher i swear) with most if not all on the salmon run weapon damage numbers commited to memory, this was a fun watch, and i think pretty comprehensive for the basic stuff too! i dont agree with all the takes, but as said, good basic overview (freelancers arent actually that bad i swear its just a general lack of teamwork)
i personally hope that in splatoon 4, we get to fight the Salmonids in Story Mode instead of the Octarians, and they have these mad max ass car levels and scrap superweapon bossfights. imagine going crab tank and blowing through a convoy only to be engaged by a rusty, scrap-armored tiger or kv LMAO and of course the world end bosses are super-powered up salmonids, whether that be upgraded King Salmonids, boss versions of regular boss salmonids, oooor just straight up Mirny-13 bosses
for reaaaal. We've been fighting the same octarians for 3 games in a row but the salmonids have so much to be explored. I'd love too see their hometowns and stuff
I've got only 4000 shifts total across Splatoon 2 and 3 (its about 2000 in 2 and 2000 in 3 lol) and i can definitely say the two constants of this game mode are that Flyfish are the chief soldiers of Satan's armies and Spawning Grounds is the stealer of souls. That being said my friends get a kick out of watching me stream the game on discord and lose my mind when i get the 5th high tide spawning grounds wave in a row on some arbitrarily high hazard level percentage. It's a shame they decided not to bring back Ark Polaris and gave us goddamn Marooner's Bay in 3 but it is what it is

Splatoon 3 was the first time i've played splatoon since the short open beta on the Wii U for Splatoon 1... I played like 300 hours, half of that was Salmond Run.. It's the most chaotic, scary, fun, and intense "zombies" game mode i've ever played in my life. Still blows my mind how NO FPS GAME on console has even tried to replicate Splatoons aim mechanics. It's literally the best feeling shooter game i've ever played in a console because of the Stick + Gyro aim.

Besides the fact that I disagree with certain takes because you’re apparently still grinding to EVP 999 and therefore have the objectively wrong opinion in some cases because you’re not yet the super mega ultra giga pro that I definitely am by no doubt I think this was a great video. As for the Big Runs and Triumvirate. The next already leaked random weapon rotation will feature the Triumvirate wich means we’ll probably also get the Triumvirate bonus again. Outside of Big Run! Also (I think it was a tweet) Splatoon 3 Twitter tweeted a message from Mr. Grizz stating that this was probably the last Big Run but he’s still catching a faint signal but claims „it’s probably nothing.“ We all know that it’s probably not nothing. I heard that apparently dataminers found hints that this final Big Run will take place at the same time the Final Fest does. Would be cool.
