Awesome video! I ordered some Wagyu and this is how we are going to cook it. Thanks. FYI, the Himalayan Mountains definitely pass through Pakistan.

Hey Mike, long time since your last video but it's always great to see you and to learn from you, however, your method is very delicious and it's been served in high-end restaurants all over the United States but never seen it done on Himalayan rather on sea pebbles. Anyway, the Himalayan salt is mined from the southern edge of the Himalaya range of mountains which located in Pakistan, it called Salt Range Mountain.

Two comments. 1. Kudos for not minding to pay the extra $$$ for real quality in products you treat yourself & family to from time to time. That knife you prepped the steak with reminded me of earlier times in my kitchen. If you like a utility knife with the Granton Grinds, to minimize blade sticking, there is only one that really works for a fair price, the Glestain Utility Knife. They make a few sizes & they hold a good edge. Or if you want to produce really nice cuts in your proteins & veggies, where the cell structure is not left ragged by typical back and forth sawing cuts, try a high carbon steel (blue#2) Yanagiba knife (single bevel) with a minimum 240 mm blade or longer. They are both Japanese Knives where form follows function can be appreciated in use, presentation, & taste/texture of your cooks. 2. It would be great to see a follow-up video of the salt block clean-up and storage methods you use. Your demonstration sparks my interest in preparing seared tuna at the table while guests are indulging other delectables. Nice video as always and thanks for your honest opnions.

Wow!! Very cool! Had no idea how to use the salt block. Love the idea of having guests cook their own around the table. Thinkin we could use our fire pit on deck with lid on. Make a table out of it. Question- How do you clean block after cook? Store it any special way? Thanks, Mike!!

Seen some other videos with this and they claimed it didn’t have enough salt flavor. Also, when done... now what? How do you clean and store this thing?

It's pretty easy to find it on Google, all what you have to do is to type: Fahrenheit to Celsius. Good Luck!
