Oh Carol you make me laugh!!! When I die my daughter & son are both going to be cursing me for ALL the stash, the wips, & the extra "decor" I have for them to get rid of! You have such beautiful stitching! And I am not a quilter(my grandmother hand quilted) but I absolutely love the quilting you shared! SPECTACULAR! Thank you for another GREAT video!

I love your stitching. Great taste in floss colors, linen and charts. The squirrel story made me laugh. I have a love/hate relationship with bats. I fell asleep on the couch and when I started to wake up I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I pulled my quilt over my head and peeked out. It was a bat! I’m not sure how it got into my house but I wanted it gone. Running to my bedroom where my husband was sleeping and the quilt still over my head, I’m trying to wake up my husband. When he finally woke up he didn’t believe me. I hit him. When he saw the bat he got rid of it by using his fishing net. Happy stitching.

I like squirrels but not in my house! One morning a squirrel came down our chimney and ran through the house! Our little declawed cat took off after it like she had a sacred duty to get that squirrel! I screamed and yelled for my husband. He said open all the doors, and it did run out after breaking one flowerpot. I think we got off easy. Ha ha. It makes a good story. 🙃😆 And an interesting memory.

As a Christian the witch stuff is surprising....I celebrate autumn and the harvest thanksgiving.

Hi Carol! I have been a subscriber for quite a few weeks. I also "rang" the bell to get notifications, but I don't get them. Also, it is the same with The Stitching Housewives and Brenda and the Serial Starter. I don't know who to contact or how to figure it out. I love technology when it works...ha ha. I love your work and was excited when I discovered you and found out you were also a quilter as I am. Anything Halloween makes me happy...it is my birthday even though I am about to hit 62 head on :-). I am thankful to get up every day and blessed that God gave me the ability and love of cross stitching, quilting, sewing, painting, embroidery, reading, woodworking, and crocheting. I only regret that I cannot do several of these hobbies at the same time! So many projects...lol. Bless you and your family! Until the next video, I remain your ardent fan.

I like the idea of pulling all the flosses for a book. I was looking through BBD Autumn book last night thinking I’ll probably stitch them all. That would work amazingly. Thank you for another fun video..I am new to cross stitch but I have been quilting for 50 years..I love your quilts. I am finishing Serendipity by Fat Quarter Shop both the quilt and the cross stitch for my daughters 50th birthday this October 27th. I did the quilting on my Babylock Ellismo…opted to use the walking foot instead of free motion…Boy…what a painful quilting job. BTW…it is so hot and humid and ragweed extremely high..here in Conroe, Texas ( just outside Houston). Can’t get out much

Love all your stitching and quilting. Agree with the "sawdust is messy" comment, but I love the way it looks when finished. I cover the outside of my piece with Press and Seal before I start with the sawdust. It helps keep it clean and I peel it off when done.

I’ve done Sarah T. Turner and it is on my stairwell wall! We have one, at least in common! I had spotted Sarah on your wall before. I stitched mine in 1992…began it on July 4 and finished July 11. Sarah dated hers July 4 , 1827…so reason that I started mine on July 4th.
