@@haku8135 This is Sam Riegel, not the Spanish Inquisition from Monty Python. This has been one of Riegel's main running jokes since the start of Brairwood Arc where he was given an ice bucket stein. Some time during this campaign, I predict he's going to have a modified gas station pump set up beside him.

You mean he has built a decent size old west style water tower and filled it with party punch to be at least ten gallons of booze and juice.

The year is 2069 and Sam is swimming laps in his olympic sized swimming pool filled with Boba Tea while playing dungeons and dragons.

It just keeps getting better! XD

Better than campaign 19 where he reclaimed an entire ancient Roman aqueduct to deliver warm plum juice straight into his mouth.

He has to put a pressure regulator on the tube running from the tower to his seat so the the water doesn't end up taking his head off.

Did he mention he was going to do this in a prior season?

@@jakelevinson7802 he’s done something similar in all three campaigns, in campaign 1 he’d slowly bring in a bigger and bigger “bottle” as the episodes went on, and in campaign 2 his character Nott was a raging alcoholic so he had an enormous flask that he would tape signs on every session to the point where there would be a 8 inch thick wad of paper taped over it every single day. And now we have a fucking gas can lmao so it’s not that he mentioned he was going to do it, it’s more so that we should’ve expected it from him by now😂

@@jakelevinson7802 the joke is that all his previous characters have been short (gnome, goblin, halfling) so his extra large drinkware reflects what normal drinkware would be proportionately for them.

When he pulls it out you can hear what sounds like "Oh god" and none of the cast on screen are the ones that said it based on lip movements.

That's what I figured. There's no way he could casually fill the whole thing with water and then drink it easily. Most of it is probably just prop aesthetics, with only a small amount of it being actually drinkable. Makes it easy to refill, though!

@@sniclops15 his old ones were actual large containers not made to drink out of. Campaign One's giant mug was a bottle cooler, but the inner plastik broke at some point and stuff started to grow in there. Campaign Two's giant flask was a window prop for a shop selling regular flasks, so basically stainless steel, but not made to be used as a flask.

Hopefully thats the case otherwise sams in for a rude awakening because gas cans arent quite healthy to drink from at all. Regardless of if its brand new or not.

the best part isn't wasn't the cast in on the first joke and then Sam just ran with it all this time. really makes Matt's horror face all the better like what madness have i unleashed here.

I remember when he played Taryon, one of the first things he did was swap out his oversized mug for a normal sized mug. It was hilarious.

The character, I think, because he (as per tradition) started with a suggestion from Liam as to what he should play. Liam suggested "a literal heal bot," and so the Borderlands/garage aesthetic of the jerry can stemmed from that.

I hadn't even noticed, good eye

I think Matt appreciated the acknowledgement by a player (so he didn’t have to ruin their fun) that the bit was reaching its end, it gave him a moment to refocus. I’m not sure he was unappreciative of Sam’s derailment anymore than any other time Sam has derailed, Matt was just switching gears from Sam-nanigans to DM mode. They are all friends, after all, and they trust each other.

Or she knew all along, thus why she wasn’t phased by it. For all we know, she got it made FOR him. That and she clearly knew it was there as Travis was dumbfounded that he didn’t even notice but Marisha nodded in the affirmative that it was there to begin with.

It did get a good laugh out of Matt!
