Yeah mickeys voice is definitely a throat fuck lol it would probably be the other way around and you gotta chase that bag g double the pay and one commute 😂
The fact he can go from a light-hearted character in a fun and whacky comedy to a creature so completely capable and not only willing but eager of utter atrocity is impressive.
I’m so happy to see that _Inside Job_ has made it into memes. It’s one of the best-written shows I’ve ever watched, and I’m glad that it’s getting exposure, particularly through this medium.
@@aidancommenting wait, it was a she? I thought that channel was just a weird dude that just did weird stuff while commenting nonsense every so often, although I've checked that channel like only 1 time from like more than half year, though I don't remember seeing it's comment on others videos lately (fortunately)
I'd consider Chris Pratt talented tbh, he's a good actor, and he hasn't even been in that much media compared to people who are specifically voice actors. Just look at his IMDb page compared to likes of John DiMaggio, Troy Baker, or this dude & more. In fact, Chris Pratt actually started out as a voice over artist himself. I don't get the necessity to collectively outrage over a casting decision when you haven't even seen the movie that they're starring in. Lets say you start casting nobody actors, (like what twitter wants) as to give people a chance in landing a role that could easily be a Hollywood celebrity instead, well guess what, they will become celebrities too if the movie or show that they participate in is successful enough, then suddenly because they're popular, do they get their acting privileges revoked or something? So they can never be able to play a character in any form of entertainment ever again just because they're... popular? I mean, I really don't get the Internets thought process on alot of things. Please consider growing some brain cells.
@@alterapp8880 I have less issue with his range than with his adamant defensiveness of a church that has a, uh... complicated history with the LGBTQ+ community.
It’s a voice actor fact that if you have a deep threatening voice you can also do the silliest voice possible. This is like how the VA for Reaper in Overwatch also played Bloo in Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends
@@Joybuzzahz the show itself is really mildly okay. Half the time I feel like I could write the jokes they're so low hanging. It's not shocking that its fans who act like its the greatest thing on TV atm also take a very standard VAs range and pretend its something greater than It is.
goddamn, reminds me of the guy who voices Paarthurnax, an ancient wise dragon who meditates atop a great mountain, seeking inner peace and teaching the world's champion, with a deep and gravelly voice which instantly makes you feel respect towards him with how it sounds. his other voice role is mario.
I was generally waiting for the fish to randomly talk in a deep voice outve nowhere just to be puzzled at the end of the video for a second Then it hit me
@@andrewkful That's... yeah that's not at all what Sudanema was saying. If you're a VA, you need to make sure you're recognized. The A-list actors do this by almost desperately throwing themselves on camera during the development process to make sure everyone knows who they are, and what character(s) they're voicing in the movie/show. If they didn't, a lot of them wouldn't be as successful as they are. That's the problem with being a VA. The better you are at your job, the harder it'll be for people to recognize your work as being yours unless you go out of your way to make sure everyone knows.
It's amazing how broad this actors range is. He can go from playing a cold, calculating force of evil that could kill you anytime he pleases to a cool cyborg guy.
@@KingNedya some people dont have the voice for it, its still easier than not, but of all my impressions i think my yoda is the best, im not high pitched enough for something like mickey mouse either.
Fun fact! When cows are milked they encapsulate the excreted fats and proteins in cow cells, and this is why the fat doesn't typically separate from the rest of the milk. When you churn butter, what you're really doing is bursting the cow cells and releasing the fat, and when you drink milk you're really just drinking cow covered fat. I had to know this so you do too.
It's sad how Mickey is kinda an afterthought now in Disney's vast catalogue. He's essentially been relegated to just a corporate mascot of a company who's public image is gradually waning.
he's very nearly public domain. he's also a key property. they need to retire him in such a way that he goes out in a way that he is more forgotten than hijacked.
Everything about disney has always been cash, They took common fairy tales and commercialized it, And they continue to do it to this day. Also Disney has been fighting public domain since its conception so don't get your hopes up that you can use him 2024. People should stop view disney as nice, And view them as the money hungry media empire it is.
@@BeeTriggerBee that 1st paragraph is irrelevant though, they don't own Cinderella just the Disneys Cinderella. Don't begrudge them their profit. they ARE corporate shitheads and I agree wholly with the second paragraph
*halfway through talk with President* VA:"So Mr, president, what is your favorite c--" President:"sir I don't pick favori--" VA:*switches to terminator voice* "Don't Interrupt Me!"
This is why I don't like A list celebrities like The Rock. No matter what, he's gonna be known as the rock no matter what role you put him in. Actors with variety like this are the real A listers.
@@cursedfl4mes645 yeah but it is their fault when an A list actor with no experience or talent in voice acting accepts a casting as a voice actor, for the single purpose of slapping their name on the poster to make shit tons
That's actually the exact reason why celebrities like The Rock are A list, it's because movie directors want people to go "Oh! I know this person from this other thing!" and make them want to watch it, when you have a person which such a wide range, where people need to post videos showing the VA's clips telling you that they're the same person, you don't have that same recognition. So they aren't as well known, because they are too good at what they do
You should hear Jackie Earle Haley. He played Rorschach in Watchmen, sounds scarier and gruffer than Christian Bale's Batman voice, but irl he looks & sounds like a nerdy hippie uncle who spends his free time sipping artesian coffee while painting like Bob Ross.
She may be the voice of our childhood, but her range is usually just a switch between Twilight Sparkle and Timmy Turner. It's incredibly rare that I catch her voice any more dynamic than that. Now, Mel Blanc on the other hand.....
I feel the difference between Strong & Diamantopoulos, is that she's voiced so many characters from our childhood to the point that her voice is really recognizable. *BUT IF YOU SHOW ME THAT THIS...DEEP-VOICED UNIT SHARES THE SAME VOICE AS THE MICKEY FUCKING MOUSE, I'D CALL YOU A MADMAN.*
I've always loved how wide a voice actor's range can be. For example, Mario's voice actor, Charles Martinet, does the voice of Paarthurnax from Skyrim, who sounds absolutely nothing like Mario.
Yeah I almost shit myself laughing when I found that one out. If I remember right Amy Rose from sonic shares a voice actress with Lady Butterfly from Sekiro which feels very wrong.
@@undeadinside3571 There's even a video that uses one of Crane's voicelines and puts it on Sonic. Now I only hear Sonic when Crane speaks, and only Crane when Sonic speaks.
@Jake Jakubic not wooshbait i just jeep finding clips of this show and almost no one in the comments are saying what show it is, not even the video descriptions have the source. thanks for helping me 👍
Reminds me of Jim Cummings who voices "The Master" from Fallout 1; this ugly mutated creature, thats half machine half abomination, preaching about his master race with his 3 different, haunting voices, turning people into super mutants, who also has telepathic powers causing you to fall to your knees and wimper in pain... Oh and he also voices Winnie-the-Pooh lol
He also sang the second half of "Be Prepared" when Jeremy Irons' throat gave away due to Scar screaming at the hyenas. Seriously, listen to Be Prepared with this knowledge, the song becomes 100x more impressive
Jim Cummings is such a good imitator of voices he can step on for anyone. I don't think I ever heard anyone replicate Sterling Holloway's voice as well as he does with his Pooh.
This is the beauty and curse of voice acting. When you’re good at it you can immerse yourself in any role. But nobody can tell that it’s you voicing the character so you don’t receive the recognition you deserve.
Isn't that a great feat in the acting world? Sure, people wouldn't recognize your voice straight away, but having a wide vocal range is the eye-catching thing here. Plus, it's not like there's no credit scene for people to look for their favourite voice actor ( or actor in general )
I think thats a reward in of its self. Look at the bright side. You do your job so well that they are so immersed in the character that they see YOU as that character so much they dont even think about whos behind, just that you are changing someones life and they dont even know your name. That is the beauty of Voice Acting
@@plasmahandoku1073 a lot of netflix shows have a part 1 that hints at a sequel but goes nowhere. Inside job does look promising though, just saying thats not really an accurate way to judge wether or not a show will get the greenlight.
Don't get me wrong, I love a few good voice actors that are "one trick ponies," but you absolutely HAVE to love a VO with an amazing, virtually unrecognizable range. Phil LaMarr is probably one of my favorites, who voiced both Static Shock and Green Lantern in the old 90's WB cartoons.
Additional fact: Chris Diamantopoulos also played Moe in the Three Stooges movie alongside Will Sasso (Curly) and Sean Hayes (Larry). Also he’s one fantastic Mickey Mouse, I honestly prefer him over the one that voices him in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse after the passing of Wayne Allwine back in May 2009
When I first watched Inside Job, I was hoping towards the end of the pilot that Brett was going to stick around and be a regular. Wish granted. But I did get a second wish I didn't know I was making, that of Robotus sticking around as well. And a lot of that goes to Chris for selling me on that lovable psychopath of a machine.
@@littlesulky3533 side characters are literally 2d cardboard cut outs, the animation looks like Rick and morty if they lost their budget. The girl is the only good character. There’s another one I watched the entire show and I don’t even know the main character. The conspiracy jokes get old, most plots are cliches BuT NoW CoNSpIrACy. Which is boring real quick. Oh… Reagan! Just remembered that. Anyway in summary only good parts are reagan and the intro
@@littlesulky3533 also what the fuck does “no 1 your opinion” mean. Do you know that people don’t always have to use “text language” to speak to each other online
After months of practicing, I’ll be finally taking a voice acting course. It’s people like Chris who really displays true versatility in roles. VA is definitely not as easy as it seems
Congrats dude! Don’t know if you’re planning on a career, but if you are, with enough practice and dedication, you’ll do great, it takes a special kind of person to do something as mystical as voice-acting, and only a select few people can really nail it down. The fact that you.’re taking this crucial step already means you likely have what it takes. Good luck.
Reminds me of the vocal range of Luci Christian who's also able to voice high pitched characters like Ochaco Uraraka from My Hero Academia and low-pitched characters like Sonya from Kill Me Baby. It's simply amazing what both can do
The English speakers that dub anime don't deserve to be worshipped or really praised for that matter, now that dubs care about speed and quantity over quality smh
