Sample & Hold Groove UNLEASHED // Live Synth Jam ft. Behringer 2600, ARP 2600, and Blue Marvin

I created a beat by syncing the Sample & Hold modules of the Behringer 2600, ARP 2600 and Blue Marvin with the "Sync Out" (Pulse) signal of the Korg Electribe 2. The Pulse signal of the Korg Electribe 2 is plugged into the "External Click In" (EXT CLK IN) input jacks of all three 2600 Synthesizers. Please note that you cannot use the Midi Clock to achieve that result. Finally, I just had fun jamming over this beat mix.
Here's the complete gear list used in this Synth Jam:
Behringer MS-1, ARP 2600, Behringer 2600, Behringer Blue Marvin, Oberheim OB-1, Roland VP-330 Vocoder, Strymon BigSky, Strymon Timeline, Soundcraft Signature 22 MTK.

Thank you for your feedback. That was also my intention to show my viewers that the S&H can also be used in a musical context. In my personal opinion, the way to start is to sync the S&H with a drum machine or a rhythmical pattern. The journey depends on the hardware which you have at your disposal. Greetings, Ralph

Very cool! I can't seem to get my B2600 S/H to synch to external clock no matter what I do. I've sent it clock from every eurorack trigger/gate source I have and nothing works. Sadness.

Mine doesn’t either, but if I send a pulse to the EG in (which is labelled “S/H clock” as its normal), with the switch down, it works.

The "External Click IN" of the S&H module requires a Pulse wave to make it work. You have to dabble with the width/duration of the external Pulse signal. You may have to check the manual of your specific hardware to find out how to do this. Also bear in mind that you may have to boost or attenuate the external Pulse signal. Greetings, Ralph

With a single arp 2600 is it possible to have two sounds each with their own envelope ? or is it because of a single vca that only one envelope can be used for all sources? thanks

All three VCO's share the same VCF - VCA - ADSR and AR signal path. You would need two 2600 to do that.

I see. I thought there was a way to use another module ( forget which one ) as a VCA. in which case you could use the 2nd sound without a VCF but with a "VCA" and AR .
