So many asking things that he either tells you in the video or could be found by scrolling down.
Tomijones ٴٴ You want something lower than that. Maximum of 3ms but preferably 1-2ms. It can get pricey at the 1-2ms range but it’s well worth it. You would probably be happy with a 3ms monitor though to be honest.
@@MichaelJohnsonProductions when you plugged your mac in was the resolution good? did you have to change any settings and when you unplug your mac do you have to change the settings back.
Great for gaming, pro tip: don't hit it, it's not durable. Also, don't put the back right up to your wall, vibrations will cause it to dig into the drywall.
Thx the review is just what I wanted to see before buying one. Found a good deal but was questioning purchase. I'm headed out now to buy it. Also appreciate the setting suggestions so I dont spend hours to set up for my son. Thanks 😊
Hitechgod did this monitor come with a remote? Also I’m having problems and I just bought mine where I can’t get anything to show.. it says analog and hdmi on the top right
I feel like this is a dumb question: I would like to buy this monitor for my pc setup BUT its a quarter of an inch too tall for my desk (rolltop), can I switch out the stand for a different one or does it have to be the stand that comes with it?
Does your monitor wobble a lot? It's super distracting for me so I'm wondering if maybe I didn't turn the screw enough or if it's just normal. Thoughts?
Hi I have one but I was wondering is there any audio on it? I see there is a volume option and it’s turned to 100 but I can’t hear anything do I need speakers?
My border/friend just picked one of these up 150$ from Wal-Mart. Looks pretty nice so thought I'd do some research. Awesome vid and thanks for the review! Lmao @ while filming THIS video :-) And then you watched the video of you watching a video of a video that you made... So the video of you watching yourself watch a video of a video you made has been watched 393,960 times!
Uupdate... my 20" Dell flat screen, I was using in the living room, power input broke and border gave me the curved 27". I knew he wanted dual monitors for his work and school, so I bought him a desk mount, which made him buy two larger monitors. The curved screen was a little awkward at first, but it grew on me after my first full screen Dragon Age play.
literally only looking at this because i have it already but need to make sure its the same one i have since im going to buy 2 more so i can have a 3 monitor setup, with curved monitors, so yeah thanks for the review.
Since u play this on Xbox would like to know after it’s all plugged in did u go straight to video output and turn on FreeSync or is there more steps needed?
BROOO THANK U SO MUCH I GOT A 32 INCH CURVED MONITOR JUST LIKE THAT AND I was connecting it to my pc and black screen, Then u said "As you can see, there is a power button back here" I SPENT 5hrs SITTING AND WATCHING YT VIDEOS ON WHAT TO DO IF YOUR MONITOR HAS A BLACK SCREEN / NO SIGNAL TYSM BRO!!! Me when I found out how easy that was 😳
I can't figure out how to get the legs off of this. I need to mount it but there's another piece, the slanted piece that the legs screw on to, that I can't figure out how ot get off.
I have this exact monitor but is there any way to connect a speaker to it or anything sound solution. Playing with my headset gets annoying after a bit
It handles movies and games amazingly 480p- 1080p. I think I had a defective panel tho just moving a inch to the left or right and the whole screen was a complete mess of colors. Night time watching was even worse with backbleed everywhere . Maybe I just got a defective panel but besides that it was a great monitor. The curve made it feel more like a 24 inch. I got it to try it. It was not a keeper just cuz the backlight bleed was so bad even moving an inch.
Mostafa AlNahas if you’ll be sitting up close yes it will be pixelated. When I move like 2 feet away it’s not noticeable when watching movies: browsing up close is fine with no pixelation tho. Very strange lol. I did have the 27. So go with the 24. No one ever recommends going higher than 24 anyways!
Thank you so much I traveled and left my monitor and now I am back and I forgot about the power cord and there’s many wires on my desk so I didn’t know what to look for until I watched this video thanks so much
I bought it 2 weeks ago to replace a nearly 10 yr old 22" Dell flat screen. Being 5 yrs old, this monitor definitely has drawbacks. Low resolution. Low refresh rate. No speakers. Low-mediocre build quality. When I plug anything in to it, the internals move around A LOT. Controls on the back are not the greatest. That said, it's my first curved monitor and I love it. Image quality is good. Switch games look/play fine on it. I'm lying in bed right now ... further than average sitting-at-a-desk distance. I can see/read everything perfectly. Will never buy another flat screen. Curved is awesome. Would love to know your impression of it.
hi thanks for the Video!! can the stand that come with it be UNATTACHED at anytime if i decide to change to a wall mount at a later time or is the stand permanent once i attach it?
i have had this monitor for awhile and its awesome, but how do you take the stand off? just yank it off real hard? i got a monitor duel stand im hooking up and dont need the stand anymore
It’s only been like 6 months and when I try to turn this monitor on it just doesn’t work the power button won’t work I haven’t spilt anything on it or the cords.
Gaming mode??? IS No good.. On this model. IMO' your not able to collaborate the direct contrast, sharpness color tone for that matter. 👎 There is freesync on it tho no one's talking about that .. contrary to why this monitor even has gamemode??? Am I missing something!??👀
what are the view angles like ? because i hate TN displays but i read that samsung don't use TN ? it needs to have good colours and a good range of viewing angles as i am used to IPS displays .
The viewing angles are great very little distortion only if I look from an impossible angle. Since it’s curved it’s like the screen wraps around your eyes
Its not ips. Its a VA panel. I’ve owned this monitor for a year bought it at walmart for $199. Viewing angle is actually quite good, better than i thought it would be considering the curve. Most ips panels ive seen look washed out from the side, though I don’t have experience with the premium models. Other thoughts on this screen: colors are brilliant very bright contrast is outstanding. 1080p is bordering on not enough pixels depending on how far away you sit from this 27in screen can get a little bit of screen door effect if sitting too close. Its fine, really, but borderline not fine. The biggest gripe i have is the 60hz refresh rate there is noticeable screen tearing vsync helps but makes things feel sluggish. I have an nvidia gtx 1060 on my pc games run much faster than 60 fps at 1080p. I really really wish I could use the freesync im betting would help alot. All in all ive been happy with this monitor there might be better choices out there now I havnt checked.
I have a 21:9 inch curved Viotek monitor and I broke the panel but can’t find any replacement panels for it. Does anyone know if I can put a Samsung panel in it?
i want this screen because its what ive been looking for with a very cheap price but the downfall for me is the non adjustable stand on it, and with my desk i cannot use a seperate arm for it
