Bad design makes this fridge inefficient. Fix it with 1 resistor. Condenser cooling fan does not activate if room is below 16C. Service Manual from ManualsLib - www.manualslib.com/manual/835...
I tested everything on my rs21 ncsv fridge(same as yours) watched your vid ordered components soldered resistor and changed capacitor(the new one has 4 prongs? Old one has 2)worked it all out just watching your vid. A huge thank you for the time taken to put it out there. Am keeping an eye but Fridge working lovely! job jobbed! Long live U Tube!! And you of course!
hello i have a fridge just like this one, but the part of the Fridge is not freezing and the part of the Freezer is snowing, is that the problem is in this part that you show in the video? thankful
Are you sure that is a 10kohm resistor - the colour of it looks to be Green, black and violet which isn't 10k? That would be Brown, Black and Orange. Is it a 0.25W too?
Hello, I have a refrigerator like the one in the video, it works correctly, but when it has apparently reached the temperature and the compressor stops, the white box/electronic box vibrates a lot and it's very annoying, Is it easy or possible to untie it to see what is vibrating inside? because in your video don´t show how extract
I dont really understand how the fan running MORE can save electricity? Can someone explain for me please? Is it because the coils are cooled more of the time therefore saving the compressor having to fire up as much? Also can you confirm its a 10k ohm resistor as someone commented otherwise? Also could the resistor be placed in one of the sensor wires instead of risking soldering on the board? Thanks so much
I realise this is a 2yr old comment but anyway... The compressor motor will need to run longer on each cycle if the heat can not be effectively dissipated from the refrigerant. In summer mine was running nearly 50% of the time but that dropped considerably with the fan blowing. Naturally, the fan uses less energy than the compressor motor.
My Samsung RS21FHNS fridge, the fridge side is working fine but my my problem is the freezer it doesn’t stay at the set temperature; -25°) it keeps changing. It can come down all the way to -1°. Also it stays longer at -6° more than any other temperature, What could be the problem??? Pls help
Had similiar problem with rs21hduts. Service guy told me that the fridge has gas leak. We fill it up 2 times after we change the compressor. I keep using it like that since I just replace the compressor with a brand new lg. You may want to reset the fridge first by pushing buttons for 10 sec on both right and left upper side.
It could also be from defrost sensor or coil. RS21 series are all pain. They are faulty from the factory and samsung never accepted that they are faulty since most of them broke down after warranty.
