Thank you so much !!!I did this in Dec 2023 with a part that I purchased on Amazon but unfortunately it died again.. buying a new part.. still great news that I dont need to buy a new dryer..
thank you so much!!! I called a repair company and they said minimum $250. I found this video, ordered the part, and spent about two hours to do this. Saved me so much money. If I can do it anybody can. Just take your time.
My heart felt thanks in helping me find an inexpensive fix! I was hoping for the less expensive thermal fuse or thermostat sensor replacement, but determined based on your diagnostic explanation that it was the coil. I located the Model number on the back of the dryer, called around my appliance parts stores and was able to locate a generic heater coil. ($77 instead of the OEM $180 Samsung part.) Generic part was identical to Samsung part. Bless you for your help!
Definitely appreciate this vid. Only thing I might suggest is speaking a little louder. Volume all the way up I can just barely hear you, but that tester beep is hella loud lol
Just dropping another comment like all the others lol. Great walkthrough on this repair man. Thanks for putting in the time and helping us broke "DIY-ers" haha. Thanks again brother!
Hey I received the parts and replaced them. I reviewed your step and I was able to fix it. Thanks again. The only thing different is I had to replace the heating element. I figured it out but did you have a video on that?
Celebration Time tonite...........lol......First comment. I was lucky to get your video ,because you working on the same dryer that i have. wow.....Definitely a pain in the ass to get to the fuse.....10 hours of disassembling.......1 minute to re install the fuse......10 hours to reassembly . I have not open up the dryer will give it a try tomorrow and test it with the meter. Does it matter what color (black or red) goes on what terminal of the fuse ??? Thank you so much for the nice video....It shouldnt be a problem fixing it.....but more so is the money i will save. Thank you again !!!!!!!!
Do you have part numbers handy for FUSE and Thermostat, it is better to have those handy before starting if they are cheap over the option to keep dryer open for a few of wait till they arrive
On the dryer that I’m fixing the fuse doesn’t conduct electricity through it. But, when I by passed the fuse the motor turned on but then turned off in a couple seconds. Does that mean that I have a bad thermal fuse AND a bad motor?
@@youcanfixthat8636 Yeah that was broken so I replaced the thermostat and the other one next to it. I think it's the heat regulator?? Anyways yeah I changed the whole heat group since I was already in there. I tested the parts before installing them and they were producing ohms. Yesterday I took it apart to check everything again and turns out one of the new little things outside the element gave out (the last tiny one) Is that common?? Anyways I'm waiting on the replacement. Maybe like they say, if it aint broke don't fix it lol I just thought replacing the old ones for original replacement parts would benefit the lifespan of the machine.
