Samsung Galaxy A53 5G "100% Genuine Honest" Review 

Thanks so much for watching my review! Yeah I hope so too. A53 feels slow compared to A52s. Or Samsung could've made fast A53 in the beginning.

My mom's (my old) Galaxy S5 just died a few days ago and I'm thinking of getting her the A52s over the A53 because they're the same except the older model has a headphone jack and charger in the box and is faster yet cheaper. Strange world we live in where the new model is worse than the older one lmao

It’s indeed strange! I can’t recommend A53 to anyone unless they desperately need one more year of Android and security software update. A52s is a good choice for your mom 👍

778g rules!

It's a bit of a mixed bag. These have the same camera module but A52s is faster in processing photo. For example, night mode photo processing is noticeably faster on A52s. However, A53 has object eraser and this is very handy in modern-day Instagram photography. A52s doesn't have object eraser. I wish I could give you a clear answer whether it's a downgrade or upgrade but Samsung's marketing strategy is messing up with these mid-range phones. I would say it's a downgrade when you value faster image processing but it's an upgrade when you value object eraser and longer software update more.

You just made the right choice. A52s is far better than A53. I put my A53 back into the box while I am using A52s as a backup phone. Snapdragon 778G is way faster than Exynos 1280.

A51 also has more powerful Qualcomm chip just like A52S 5G so that makes a world of difference.

It truly is a very different world.

100% agree. It's a chip for basic tasks and keep the phone alive for a longer period of time.

Yes, A53 indeed got slightly faster after some updates and it has one more year of Android update than A52s.

@@Technoliath from your testing of the A53 how is the network and WiFi performance compared to A52s 5g?

A52s is almost twice faster on 4G network for downloading. However, I couldn't see meaningful difference on wifi. Sometimes, A52s is faster and sometimes, A53 is faster.

Okay. It's gonna take some time. I will do it as soon as I get the phone.
