Considering how cheap the S10+ is this year that is the new flagship killer. You can't tell me 1000usd premium on the ultra is worth the minor changes.
Just picked up a barely used s10 5g for 180 bucks. I got to use a s20 and it's true about the front cam but aside from that there's not much difference. S10 line is definitely the new flagship killer.
The Ultra is a little better but I luv my S10+. There's no way I'm giving it up. After a year the performance is still great. I usually upgrade every year but not this time. Besides I still luv using the jack, I'm old-fashioned, yikes. Very good comparison!
For me it shows that the ultra has almost the same camera as the 10 plus. The only difference is the additional zomm over 10x that you not really can use for a good photo. Thank you for the compassion.
s10 plus front facing can record in 4k 60fps now.I am keeping my s10 plus,not convinced at all with s20 line.The major update is 120 refresh rate but it’s nit enough to throw over $600
Samsung needs to understand that throwing everything in extreme level with massive price hike and expecting it to stick on wall is not the strategy for long run. Galaxy S20 Ultra is Samsung's attempt to get succes with that strategy and seems like most people are not buying it.
Exactly! I'm very glad he made this comparison. With the exception of the additional zoom of the S20, the pictures are not that different with the two devices. The S10 plus can still deliver!
I have had the S10 since the release date, I upgraded from an s7 edge. There seems to be absolutely no need to be "upgrading" from the S10. The only reason to upgrade is if you have a device older than the s10, even then it's not worth the $1800. The so called "upgraded" camera barely beats the s10. Save your money and get a new phone when you NEED one, the minor "upgrades" do not justify the INSANE price tag
we can see that...s20 U has better sharpness and exposure control..and yeah this video doesn't have night mode comparision...and camera is not the only part improved in s20 series if u got the bucks go fro s20 series..if not go for s10 series or note 10 series they are better value for money
i recently broke my S10+ and warranty expired. so looking for an upgrade but no way am i forking out the money for the S21 so i was looking at the s20 ultra. And oddly the only real benefit in my opinion for that phone is the zoom capability. other than that i noticed the pictures we're close enough to where it doesnt justify paying so much. Im probably just going to get the S10+ again because i loved that phone and personally i was satisfied with its camera. I will say though im always looking for the next best option for phones with cameras. part of me wants the s20 ultra but i just dont see THAT much of a difference.
Thank you for watching the video. Do remember, this test was done early on in the Galaxy S20 Ultra's release. Hence, software improvements play a big role. We think Samsung has done a good job to not only improve but fix many of the problems on its flagship from last year over time.
@@GNTECHAE is there any updated comparison of the two that you've done ? im sort of still having a hard time justifying paying about 300 usd more if the camera isnt massively better than the s10+. From what i can tell the primary difference is the 100x zoom feature that sets it apart. but thats not a feature id use often if at all. I know the s20 ultra has higher mega pixels but in the side to side performance and looks of the images its hard to justify spending that much more money for a slightly better camera.
@@leroyrs the Samsung s20 ultra is - less expensive than iphone pro max 1400€ for 512 and 1659€ for 512 for 11 pro max . -the s20 ultra have a 120hz therefore are smooth screen. -865 snapdragon processor faster -a dynamic amoled and not a oled Therefore a cette screen. -the s20 ultra's photos are more détailled. -and more things we don't pay for a blind every accessory while on we force to stay in an ultra closed ecosystem. Does anyone else have a felling that the camera is degraded as time goes on? I simply don't believe that the colors get washed out on a phone which I remebered had a great camera. Maybe the lens weren't wiped off of grease before shooting the footage?
Iv noticed that with every galaxy I had. When you first get it the pictures look awesome. After having it for about a year or two and many updates the pictures look washed and ashy looking.
they keep the screen's refresh rate at 60hz in stores, thats why you saw no difference and believe me 2x the refresh rate is a whole another level but I agree s20 really not that much better than s10
Does 4k 30 fps in s10 plus look smooth to you? How do you think about it? I need a phone with the smoothest video stability.. But I can't afford s20 ultra or iPhone..help me
Hi! I have the s10 plus Exynos version. It has very smooth 1080p and 4k stabilization. I add a very simple handle I can put my phone in to hold it or place it and it is a super smooth ride. The super steady mode makes it almost look like it is on a gimbal, but it lowers the quality and can only be shot in 1080p. All in all, still very impressive.
I own the s10+ now and gonna upgrade…..I’m only interested in the cameras…. Wondering if I should get the 20 ultra or the 21 ultra….can you help me decide? Ty
Little bit difference not too much i have S10+ but i like S20+ or Ultra because camera doesn't matter to me all i want is powerful processor, Display & Fast Charging.
I try the video on s 10 + on end jan 2020 C N Y time it so good i comp the i phone 11pro max and s 20 Ultra when my friend got the phone and do video ! The s 10+ does about the same as i phone 11pro max but s 20 Ultra does a much more sharper image all depends on the person holding the phone
En el S20ULTRA es más realista....pero el 4k 60 en video frontal no estabiliza bien ....sin embargo se ve bien el resto...pero bueno el S10 plus sigue siendo un buen rival digno.
bullshit that front camera on s10 is not that soft .they nerfed it with updates . if you watch videos when s10 came out it has great sharpnes and color profile like s20 has now they have been nerfing cameras since s7 becouse its the same fucking camera
S20 ultra is a rip off. The s20 plus camera is better. Horrible stabilization. The zoom and a few small improvements is all it has. I think I'll stick with the s10 plus then possibly try the one plus 9 or an LG v series next year (LG the only great flagship with a headphone jack still(and optional extra screen! ))
