I'm wanting to get the s6 with my carrier but they don't have any of the 64GB phones anymore since they weren't selling as well as the 32GB. I was thinking if I open the phone up and buy an aftermarket SD card that's a 64GB do you think it would work as replacing the stock SD card that's already in the phone? If so, where would that card be located in the phone?

Hello sir, can you name the two golden/copper stickers on the top and bottom of the inside behind the rear glass? I believe they are antenna stickers. I am missing the lower on mine. And the upper barley sticks. If you know.. please comment!!

The recharge screws were left out in another clip i watched and i broke the recharge port board, this guy is good. Also take sim card and sim card holder.

How come that u didnt need the heat gun for the front of the s6 edge but u needed to use it for the normal s6? Btw will a blowdryer work as a heat gun?

Just fixed up mine. I got one for 26$, but screen was smashed, but still working. I'm just waiting for new frame and back glass to arrive, but I succesfully transfered the screen, motherboard and all the other stuff.

do you have to take off the back of the phone to replace the front glass only??

i dropped mine and cracked the screen. the screen only occasionally flashes and is always blank. if i replace the screen, will this fix it? it seems like it still funtions otherwise. the screen just wont work.

i ripped off the front screen and ripped the wires. any chance in fixing it?

Great video !!! Here is how you can remove the glass and save the amoled. Remove the amoled from the frame first then start from the menu and back button cause that is the digitizer oca to the front glass

I just got smashed up S6 Edge for just 26€. Good thing with this one is that both back and front glass are smashed, and display does not work, so I don't need to be extra carefull with it, since I will order completly new screen and glass back. But yeah, replacing the screen does not seem too difficult, since I was already dealing with newer Xiaomi and Huawei phones, and they also need to be almost totally dissasembled to change the screen, almost the same as this one.

feed back for the headset port.it was intact in the back case with a thin flex.just be careful and dont force it.or do not pull out from the bottom.just pull it out from the top and easier.THANKS

Everything is fine, but the camera will not work when the metal frame is screwed on. As soon as the frame is screwed on the camera stops, but as soon as I unscrew all the screws the camera works flawless. I've tried two sensors. Any idea how to fix this?

Managed to get the back off without heating just slide the sim card tool on the back of the phone under the glass going around all edges

I feel like the cracks get worse even like over night, just the shape of it or something when you already have a crack it just gets more fucked even if you don't touch the thing

Dude, he made it look so easy though. I Just got done fixing my 10th s6 Edge. 2nd back glass I thrashed trying to pry it open. Guess 2 broken back cover out of 10 ain't too bad. Samsung should stop hanging out with Apple and give us back the old S models way of doing things. Remember the old days when you can carry an extra battery in your pocket and just pop out the dead battery and slap that fully charged battery right in and we're a happy camper. Now Apple copying Google and creating their own electric car. I wonder though once Apple's done with their electric car, will it have Windows? And when you pull up to a gas station and somebody ask "fill 'er up?" And you reply "Ah... No tanks"
