The iPhone looks 10 generations behind in design when compared to s8.

Mm it apears the iPhone is tricking you into thinking the apps are kept in memory. When going back to the background apps, there semed to be only a frozen image with no audio until after about a second later you'd then see the app visuals in motion and get audio playback. The s8 on the other hand, the app was fully functional instantaneously, which is a true ram storage. I think Android authority mentioned about this iPhone compressed apps ram management.

Never Forget That iphone developers optimizes and make some tweaks on every single apps on the app store to make them a tiny bit faster which andriod developers don't do. They give us the original apps without making any tweaks or hacks. Because Apple developers know that iphone is always slower. That is why apple developers made their screen resolution less and they optimize every single apps on the app store. So their is no doubt that Samsung Galaxy S8 is the fastest even in terms of gaming!

Ok so i have both a Galaxy S8+ and an IPhone 7 Plus and in my opinion they are both great phones for different reasons. the things i prefer about the S8+ because it has all of the customization options that the iphone lacks and i slightly prefer the S8's camera and the screen is sharper (you can look at the 2 phones in the video its kinda obvious to me, but hey you might like how the iphone's screen is, thats your opinion). the things prefer about the Iphone 7 plus is that the build quality is high quality, the phone looks really pretty (not saying that i think that the S8 isnt, its pretty too) along with ios being really clean and simple which is really good for people that are new to tech (i would suggest an iphone to someone new to tech due to the simplicity while letting them know that adroids are better for more experienced tech users) ok but 3 things that i don't like about IPhones is 1) that there are no back buttons or buttons that open task manager, i really like that feature about androids and 2) i feel limited compared to android and 3) is taht you have far less options and 1 thing that i dont like about android is that its harder for tech noobs to use if i had to use only androids or iphones i would choose androids solely on the fact that that i dont feel as limited as i do on an iphone, but hey thats my opinion and i hope that you respect it and i will respect your opinion. most likely you will disagree with me due to that im the rare handful that likes both so please tell my why you disagree and not the stupid "oh hes a samsung fuckboy he doesnt know what hes talking about iphone is clearly better" or stuff along that line, thats just being childish

Of course we were still shown the last thing we saw before exiting the application but no matter whether it would continue after letting it load a few seconds or reloading (thus not being kept in memory) it is definitely slower than the S8. I am neutral in this fight but you sir do not seem so to me!

So start off, I'm not a "fanboy" of either devices yet do like them both about equally. Having said that, this is why I think it's a somewhat unfair speed comparison. First, both phones being connected to the same WiFi router will gain bandwidth priority over the other even for just a few seconds depending on whichever has received the user's touch input first by mere milliseconds. So the unfairness starts right out of the gate. Second, the load up time of "identical" apps is also influenced by the platform's compilation tools, meaning that the exact same code will run at slightly different speeds on two platforms, which again skews the test. If you really want to have a fair comparison then test the actual app functions after it has already been loaded into the running memory. From these subjective tests I would conclude they are about the same, while one shines on loading times the other beats it on other tasks.

stop leaving apps so quickly on tbe iPhone when your testing ram management. iOS keeps a screenshot of an app when you leave it making it look like it keeps everything in RAM when you return but actually it might just refresh a few seconds later... if that makes any sense...

Speed is nice, but the OS experience and features is what really matters. The comparisons are very slight and not large enough gap to make me change platforms.

You can even see how iOS just shows you a kind of flashback screen of the app you were previously using when you open it again until it loads the app, to give you the kind of illusion that it kept the app in memory, but it didnt. Wasn't a fair test for the S8, and it still won.
