You're the only one who compares the galaxy watch with the previous one and focus on the features and in how the watch works. Thank you for the amazing review, cheers from Brazil. 🇧🇷
This was super helpful!! I have been watching several reviews, mostly from men and none of them said what size the watch was. As a woman I really needed to know if the bigger one was too big for me and you talked about it right at the beginning! The rest of the review was as good! I think your output was right on. Everything I needed and wanted to know! Thank you!!
Well it’s really not something one can give recommendations about. I’m a girl, too, but my wrist is 18,5 cm, so 44 mm is the way to go, 42 looks like a toy. But it depends much more on the width of your wrist actually than on total circumference, and no one mentions that.
Actually this is one of the best reviews I've seen. Guys are just mumbling around not cutting to the chase and reviewing things noone cares about. Good job!
Samsung,s speech to text is great and Bixby is improving too. The only issue with Bixby is follow up questions and surfing the internet. But then google is a search engine so Google assistant will need better in surfing the web Also, integration with some third party apps like WhatsApp is not too good for some reason. But Bixby integrates very well with google apps like Google maps etc. Samsung speech to text is great though
As always, great review! Been looking at this watch for a little while now. Torn between the regular and classic version though. I love the physical rotating bezel of the classic but there's something about the minimal design of the regular one that catches my eye too. Decisions, decisions 🤔
Hi Thao. Hands down this Is the most informative watch 4 video on RU-vid. I been dying for someone to use the talk to text feature to see if Bixby is really 35% faster. Based on your review it looks so much faster than all previous models. What an amazing review. Thank you for this.
@Aryan Banyal no I haven't. One day maybe waiting on the pixel watch so the whole watch os gets better and the software isn't janky when I get a Samsung Galaxy watch.
Thao, thank you for testing bixby, voice recognition, and speed extensively you're the only RU-vidr I've seen do that so far and it's what I've been looking for!
I'm surprised your battery life was so good with the smaller model with always on display on. Most people seemed not to be able to get a full day with the smaller model. Good review!
I originally ordered the 44mm regular version, but then I saw that HUGE bezel and decided to get the 46mm classic version in silver. Coming from the original Galaxy Watch, I'm curious to see the upgrades for the 4 vs original.
Great video as always Thao! I'm so excited to get my Watch 4! I switched to an S20 from an iPhone 11 Pro Max a bit over a year ago and I decided not to get a Galaxy Watch2 Active since I figured a new model would be coming soon. Took a bit longer than I was expecting, but I'm glad I waited now that they've switched to wearOS and the Tizen models won't be updated.
I upgrades and Galaxay Watch 4 is AMAZING. Withough AOD, I'm getting nearly 2 full days on the 46mm Classic. WearOS3 is a big leap forward. If you've a Samsung or Android watch I'd definitely recomment Galaxy Watch 4. If you've a Samsung phone, you'd be mad not to get one 😊 Have fun!
Great info as usual. Got my 4 on Friday and it definitely feels smoother than my watch 3. Waiting for google assistant next. Happy that Google messages is on here now since that's what I use. Also I hated speech to text on my tizen watches. With the 4 I can switch to Google and it almost feels as good as my old apple watch before.
@@saltygirl764 I pre-ordered from Samsung. But it wasn't delivered on release date and I've taken this week off work, so I haven't got my hands on it yet, lol.
I was initially upset when I first heard that they were abandoning Tizen...I have had nothing but not-so-good experiences with Wear OS (with the ONLY exception being the Mobvoi TicWatch 3 Pro, and even then it wasn't as good as TIzen). After hearing first hand accounts like yours, I am now leaning towards ordering one myself. I just wish by now they had been able to come up with fast charging like my Oppo Watch has had for a year now. It's not rocket surgery here folks. BTW I'm still irked that even though the TicWatch has plenty of memory, downloading music is next to impossible and the options that ARE available, cost $$ and the audio quality is just not very good...kind of like listening to music on a really cheap pair of headphones with zero bass. My Galaxy Watch 3 made music transfer SIMPLE, so it's good to see they brought that ease over to the GW4. Thanks for your (always) great and insightful review!
Awesome review like always Thao. Really glad you talked about the new band and how stiff it is. Also loved that you tested out Bixby. I can tell its so much faster and will be an okay replacement until we get google assistant. Curious as to why you got the regular watch this time and not the classic. You love that rotating bezel :)
I have already pre-ordered the 40mm watch 4 but really happy to see your review on it. You are my go-to for Samsung watch reviews. I currently have galaxy watch 3 and my biggest/only complaint is that it is quite heavy which I mostly notice while trying to sleep so even though I want sleep tracking, I often take it off for a break. From specs, watch 4 is a lot lighter. Have you noticed a big difference in the weight during daily wear? Another great review btw!
I think it's running Google Assistant but with Bixby's voice. There's no way it's running so smooth on the watch compared to the phones. It has to be Google
I'm really excited for this watch to arrive tomorrow. Its my first ever smart watch! I bought it to motivate me into taking up running again. Hope it's worth it!
While I am waiting to get my 4 classic I happen to say hey Bixby to turn the living area off, but my phone wasn’t in the bedroom so I ask my watch and boom the tv turns off, I turned the lights on, Spotify on, Xbox on, check my heart rate and did basic things like check my steps and weather etc… and I was shocked how quick it worked. I don’t know why Bixby gets a bad name if your tied into the ecosystem it’s a great experience. I never owned Apple anything other then a tablet or a pixel so I’m not sure what I’m missing or supposed to be missing, but either way great video.
Just to tell you. I bought the galaxy4 yesterday, and I'm more than satisfied with him paired with my buds2 pro. The combo is excellent, and it is not a problem that the watch was discontinued - it still offers you good specs for this price.
That watch face from the intro 😍 I've seen it more than a few times in your Galaxy Watches vids and i love it on mine too ! Keeping my GWA2 LTE this Year again as i am more than super happy of how it looks and functions on my wrist 😁
Thnx Thao for another good review!!! Your videos are always interesting and informative and very good!!! I always come tp ur channel when it comes to Samsung's reviews thnx for these amazing reviews!!!
I love my watch 4 classic, the only thing that's a little concerning is with my daily use I'm only gonna get 2 days of use instead of all week like I was able to with my galaxy watch
Do you reckon if I wait a little longer they'll come out with a mystic bronze version? The colour is the only thing stopping me from getting the Watch 4.
@@DearestMina oh yes! thanks for letting me know x I am interested in the Watch4 classic tbh, so might have to do some strap swapping instead to get a better colour
It is a bummer they don't have any sort of gold/ bronze option for the classic. It's so much more expensive though anyways my wallet is happy about it 😅
Luv yr honest review. I am interested to get the 40mm rose hold but it said to select option: blue thooth or wifi lte? What is the diff and what do u recommend?🙏🥰
Bought the US version 4 classic. Great looking/feeling watch. However returned it. The step counter is very much inaccurate, which in turn is used calculate calories burned so that''s wrong too. While driving and noticed it was counting steps. All you have to do is raise your arm from your waist to chest fast an it will count steps. I have less costly Amazfit GTR 2(Zepp) that is far more accurate which I use to compare watches to. Both Samsung and Apple (S5/S6) are inaccurate when tracking fitness. If you want it to tell the time, make calls, get notification, text and use apps...this is for you...just don't rely on the fitness features(which is what I want).
New audience here. Subscribed to your channel because of this video. It's really great. I like that you made it PRACTICAL. We need more videos like this
I'm anxiously awaiting my watch. I wanted to try the big one but my wrist is 6 inches. Hope it works out okay. I need the physical bezel. Thanks for the review.
Ouch based on your video, I got hyped up and bought the watch right away 40 mm. Within 5 days I had to give it to the service center because when I used it for my Nike run club runs. Within an hour the battery loses up to 70%. One of the worst battery life for the snappy smart watch. I don't know if brands like this really think through fully. My advice go for 46mm.
I would consider getting one except for the fact they took away one of the most important features that differentiates a Galaxy Watch from others - the tactile turning dial.
Great video. Do you have to carry your phone with you while working out? So that the watch is connected to the phone or does the watch have a sim card?
watch band has that angle to allow the sensors to sit absolutely flush with your wrist bone. which is why I think they downsized the bandwidth to 20mm. less people will swap out for a more comfortable 22mm band they may already own from another watch and will be more likely to stay with the stock Watch 4 band. that way the Samsung Health data will be more accurate. A looser fitting band will not allow the sensors to always get consistent readings. Samsung, Apple and Google are all banking big time on Health and activity user data
I pre-ordered the watch 4. Your review just made me that more anxious to get it. I noticed you are using the Flip 3. I'm guessing you like it okay. Thinking about getting one myself.
I'm reading an article right now about the update for Google Assistant finally coming to the Watch 4. When it's official I'll upgrade from my Active 2. That's the feature I was waiting for.
I watched 4 other videos just to know if you can install Playstore apps on this watch and only you made it clear and easy to follow. Thanks a lot, next time I will check your videos first.
The video I was looking for, thx. With 2 health apps I have the bad feeling this will mean the end of SHealth in about 1-2 years. Media Player controls showing up directly in front is great and should be added to the Tizen models as well. Please do a long term review including battery time and if it is finally possible to connect a HRM chest strap like Polar H10 etc.(Bluetooth/Ant+)) directly to the watch
선댓글 후감상(1stComment View 2nd); I was only waiting on your galaxy watch 4 review! All other related videos are waste of time and repetitive. I wanted a watch review from a real heavy core user experts perspective! Thank you your work!
Awesome! Am I the only one who's glad that the scroogle assistant isn't being forced on this Smartwatch, unlike other WearOS devices? I'm liking the fact that I can get rid of ALL the scroogle services and stick to Samsung's offerings. That's part of what makes me love my Note 8, and knowing that's an option on this Watch 4 is making it a good upgrade to my GearS3.
