I've spent nearly two weeks with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, comparing it to past Galaxy smartwatches. So far, it's a significantly better experience than the last-generation models, but that also applies to the more affordable Galaxy Watch 7. The Galaxy Watch Ultra mirrors Apple's most premium offering, with upgrades like the third Quick Button, a siren, and a 3,000-nits display. But despite all the similarities, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is not a carbon copy of the Apple Watch, Thankfully. This is my honest review of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and how it compares to other flagship smartwatches in the market.

Three days on a Watch 5 Pro is a stretch. You have to disable Always on Display, set the heart rate monitor to once every 10 minutes, and basically never workout. That's how you get three days on the 5 Pro.

I am about to convert to the S24 Ultra from an iPhone 14 Pro and this is a no brainer. I noticed a guy wearing one in a store a few days ago. It looks so much better in person and he was getting asked what kind of watch that was.

I have the watch ultra. At first I missed the watch 6 classic I traded in. However, after several days use I'm glad I upgraded. It's much more durable, snapper operation, and 3-4 day battery life ( if u don't used the always on display & only use half brightness- which is perfectly fine).

Coming from the fold five with the watch 5 pro. now have the fold 6 and the watch ultra. I've been waiting for a watch that would compare with the watch 5 pro. I love the ultra, but I have noticed the battery life is slightly less than the watch 5 pro and charging times are a bit longer. I leave everything on my watch running all the time. I leave the screen on full brightness all the time. What's the point of having such a beautiful screen and not being able to see it all the time LOL that's just my opinion. Wake up being said these are both amazing devices and I was able to sideload the blood pressure monitor on to the watch ultra like the watch 5 pro because it's not approved in the US yet if it ever will be

Agree, my Fenix 5 XS is always on my wrist. I have the Samsung 5 Pro, The Apple Ultra. While the Samsung and the Apple mimic their Phone counterpart, the Garmin kills it in the fitness and battery life dept. Until Samsung or Apple can figure out how to give 7 to 12 days of battery life I’ll stick to my garmin for my everyday wearable.

It's not recommended to use the BP features to monitor hypertension. Use a dedicated device.

Thanks for the video. Amazing Job!! I have the gear S3 and love the rotating bezel but also have the watch 4 and the digital bezel dont bother me at all. So i think people will get used to not having the physical bezel. But i agree with all of you guys that say that it would be quite an improvement to have the physical rotating bezel on the Ultra watch! And i do believe that Samsung will do it on the nex gen ultra watches. Be safe!

Every other year, Samsung deletes the rotating bezel and after an outcry, brings it back the next year. An easy solution is to make use of the new crown to do exactly the same thing the rotating bezel did. What were they thinking if turning the crown does nothing? It’s all in software so they can still implement that in an update.

I can honestly attest to the battery strength. I received mine this past Monday. Setup it up and left it to fully charge and started wearing it right away. Here it is Thursday and battery says 25% to empty. I have certain apps not running since I do not really need them so perhaps it might have contributed to the current battery length.

@@Tha-King-Arthur I'm using minimal stuff. Health is on during sleep. Brightness is set at 25% since it is more than enough. AOD is off. I have not used the GPS since I always have my phone with me and I don't have a use for it at the moment.

I like the better performance of the Ultra compared to the watch5 pro. Now I don't use any of its health features as I have those disabled. The Ultra gets 5 days of battery just like the watch5 pro did when it was optimized.

"always on display"? Does the watch face actually stay on the whole time? Or does it switch to stand by mode after 30 seconds? (Like most other smart watches)

Always on means there is a display at all times. The "standby" face has a reduced display that is not as bright but still consumes a significant amount of power compared to a black screen.

If i go for the new galaxy watch, i’m gonna do what i dit with the 6. Buy 2 galaxy watch 7 44mm. Use the first one for a full 24h tracking, put it on charge and use the second one and do the same.

I had mine for 3 days and returned it today. Back of the watch gave my wrist a bad rash. Never had a problem with my 6 classic so I'm keeping it and will upgrade next year. Hoping the do an 8 classic.

It's called VENT on facer. However, facer watch faces aren't available on watch 7 or 7 ultra. I ended up realizing the hard way after purchasing it

Said by most samsung owners only to find a similar priced slightly better spec product. Now if you want to wait for the 2 to buy the 1 that makes sense but there won't be mutch difference in the 2 and the one. You can also trade your 1 in and get high trade in value on the 2. Go for it. You won't regret it.

Cuz I got two kind of fitness watch a Garmin fitness watch in a Samsung fitness watch but the Garmin beat the Samsung watch in battery life 7 days to to pair to 48 hours or 100 hours try it out the Garmin watch out and check the battery life I'm both of them which one will we in The Garmin venue 3 tried out

T-Mobile also doesn't have the white one. I was very disappointed until I saw the Titanium Gray in person. I liked it enough to buy it, but I still kept calling different T-Mobile stores to ask if they had the white one in stock, even though I was 99% sure that the answer was always going to be no. Then I saw better pictures of the white one and realized that the bezel on it is painted white. I don't like that at all, so I've stopped harrasing every T-Mobile store in my metro area...and my gray one has grown on me.
