When samsung released the first fold, lots of people said the concept would never come to pass. Now, samsung and microsoft have proven that it is a real option.
"And Microsoft" Bro Microsoft literally just copied LG why is everyone saying this Microsoft's new phone is a dual screen phone, something LG has been doing for years. The first ever dual screen was the LG V50, and they've been doing it with all their flagships ever since. Microsoft is merely copying them. All Microsoft did was prove LG was right.
Very true, and I must admit that I was very skeptical and still am as far as durability and software versatility (Android phones are very much so a mixed bag because hardware is different on every manufacturers phone). I’m wondering when Apple is going to jump in on this as they have been silent but have had patents for like a decade for foldabels.
Wow now im def gonna watch Ascension! Wow ! I saw ads for it but its long... You did something in that movie? Im gonna watch it tonight on the TV screen.
Samsung: "We recommend someone officially from Samsung to remove the main screen protector." Zack: "You know, I'm something of a Samsung official myself."
@@knownname190 depends if your on android or not, if on android and not rooted blokada will work (creates a vpn on device so do some research first) or if your rooted adaway will work better. any other device not on android i dont know
*Marques* : "so I'm in a trailer in the middle of the desert" *what I hear* : "so I've been cooking meth with Walter White for a few weeks now and here are my thoughts"
....."so I've been stuck in the desert with Walter White for 24 hours now cause I ran the car battery down recording this video and here are my thoughts
@@darshangowda9347 I believe the first fold had a plastic layer on the big screen that people thought was a screen protector so they peeled it off, but really they were peeling off the outer layer of the screen itself
It's going to be cool to see this phone in a few more generations. I feel like once they have all the wrinkles out, folding phones have the potential to become the norm for a smart phone.
@@MRCOCOCITY Of course, as tech advances the price always drops. You see this all the time. First few gens are super expensive then they get cheaper over time.
@@SamS.7598 I think you are wrong. Think about the potential of foldable phones replacing both mobile phones AND tablets. This would be huge. And since tablets are starting to replace pc... You can think of the possibilities
@@SamS.7598 Until rollables are actually mainstream, actually good, and relatively affordable, foldables will be the most popular. At least when those become mainstream too.
Lone Wolf Coz they could use apple devices for even 5-6 years tension free if they want to. Everything works and never occurs random hiccups in software or any problems with hardware. Just maybe have to change batteries. So in that way..yes. Its worth the money for them. People who doesn’t buy a new phone within 2 years or arent sure about it. iPhones may be the perfect choice for them. Also Apple gives their users 5 Years of Software Upgrade too which is an added benefit
This man is sitting in a trailer in the middle of a desert in Arizona. But his video still looks so professional. MKBHD just can’t make a bad quality video even if he wanted to. The man’s perfect 😂
Trailer by definition doesn’t mean trashy. It just describes a mobile living space. You can make it extremely nice on the inside and it’s still a trailer.
Hey MKBHD, wouldn't be telling you this if I didn't know you were such a perfectionist production-wise, but... Tell your sound guy that Izotope RX Spectral Denoiser can solve that background hum with like 2 clicks (without damaging your vocal recording).
RedblueRenegade no. Anything that’s considered in the “big three” are just the top three best. For example (not in order) Naruto, One Piece, and DragonBall are the big three.
I mean, yeah, this thing is stupid expensive, but this the future for sure. Stuff will get smaller and they will figure it out better. The cost will come down. I give it another 5 years and it'll be the thickness of a Note 20 folded. I honestly think if they can make it super clean and able to fold perfectly it would be a game changer for most people. I'm sure they can pack more battery into it as well.
What I'd like to see in the full review (this goes for the Surface Duo too): more focus on the software and practicality of the device/form factor. Does it empower you to do things you couldn't do before, does it create new ways of how we will interact/use mobile devices (à la Surface Pro when it first came out), do you think it should've came with a stylus, things like that please.
There's not much to say though. It's rather obvious. A bigger screen is a bigger screen. That's the benefit. You can see more info. That's the jist. If you're on a phone and wish you could do more at once, than that's the use case. Every reason you'd buy a tablet while owning a smart phone, applies here. Whatever benefits s tablet has, this has.
I dunno, I'm more worried about gimmick durability. If I can't use the hinge / the internal screen is going to start failing within a year I'm not shelling out $2k
@@mxbblife_mu flagship specs on phones are 100 percent useless and a giant scam. The fact reviewers care about this is supppperrrr annoying. There is not a single thing you can do on a phone, not one, that needs that kind of power. You will never see a difference.
I would love to have the biggest screen possible on a foldable phone and it could still fit in my pocket. I love my 6.9 in 120 Hz Amoled on the S20 Ultra.
Big fan from India... Bro there's a suggestion.. plzz try out the Samsung galaxy M51... Specs are crazy.. 1.7000mah battery 2.sAmoled punch hole display.. 3. SD 730G chip... 4. 64 MP quad cam set up 5.the price is great.. just 350$..
I kinda wish they didn't put the camera on the inside... we can do selfie on the smaller screen with one of 4 cameras lol. It'd look cooler with no cut out.
Marques' production quality is so high that when he's recording from somewhere that isn't the studio the audio and video quality drop is extra noticeable
I love Marques, but I was thinking the same. Video seemed a bit too lax with visuals, wording, lighting, and just overall. I mean he was there shooting David Blaine, he had to have had the right equipment. Still my fav tech reviewer by far.
9:50 I was watching quietly and attentively until he said "Escobar", I literally burst into laughter!!🤣🤣 Can't wait for the full review from The Best smartphone reviewer! Peace!
That's actually not true. Research shows that you learn from your wins, not your losses. Most entrepreneurs who had failed startups continued to make more failed startups. Whereas an entrepreneur who created a winning started created another winning startup. Basically, most people aren't good at learning from mistakes or learning in general.
@@CEOofTheHood but u know that if u wanna start a buisness and it fails normally won't u look for the wrong things u did so u don't repeat the same mistake twice
Hasham Raja Im not sure about that. This rule was originally base on chess wasn’t it? And in Chess you will definitely learn more by playing against a stronger opponent than a weak opponent.
That small selfie cutout inside the fold will be quite nice for zoom classes/meetings. It gives more screen space for sharing presentations. I’ll be appreciated if you can show us how good it is for zoom meetings/classes.
@@pokesportxyz5191 lol that's funny. If you said that when Steve was still in charge I would totally agree, but now that Tim is, all apple does is use their design from last year to make more money. Not to mention Ios 14 is a ripped off, less customizable, boomer friendly version of android.
