I have the same problem. It doesn't work when you press the power button, but when you press two buttons hard, it works as if you press the power button, if you turn it on or off. Did you solve the problem? I disassembled and looked at the button, but the button was working without any problems. However, initialization did not solve it either.
Great chanel with great guy hope you get grow more then you think .so for that you have to work more hard .keep continue with this try some thing more interesting ok
For my experience I can say that it can be faulty power flex cable. I had this same issue and there was no help from opening and drying the watch. I bought a new power flex cable and problem fixed. It is over 3 years old watch.
Thanks for the good video. Can I ask a question? 1. Are you soldering one end to the leftmost terminal of the flex cable(4:10) and the other to the power button terminal(4:25)? Are there only two parts to be soldered? 2. And I am curious about what mm the thickness of the copper wire is.
Hi Brother. My s3 frontier motherboard need to replace. Can u please advice where to go for reparing and fix problem apart from Samsung service center. India , Lucknow UP.
Aslamu alikum sir nice job meri watch 2 months off thi but ubi charge nahi ho rahi ur on ho rahi hai apne jo btaya data cable lgao wo kaise lagy gi please help me
Essentially he is jumper wiring the power button. 1. Look at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZTor4meURO8.html, solder a wire to the left most contact of the flex cable. 2. Look at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZTor4meURO8.html, solder other side of the wire to the power button. I did not desolder the button like he did, as there is enough surface area to attach it. My watch had some water damage, it went into a rebooting loop. So after disassembly and drying it in rice for 2 days it wouldnt turn on. When put on the charger, as soon as the display went dark, it would only react to the back button (screen came back on) but not to the power button. So before ordering a new flex cable I thought I might try this solution and my watch is working again. Thank you very much Mobile Doctor!
Cristhian mañay como lo hiciste ? la verdad el no muestra el procedimiento sera q usted puede guiarme o hacer un video tutorial para reparar mi s3 frontier tiene el mismo problema solo enciende colocandolo en la base de carga

@@earthyfacts it just stopped working, won't charge turn on or anything, the dock just blinks red , I've replaced the battery just 3 months ago so I know it ain't that
Sir meri watch ka touch kaam nahi kar raha hai aur same day se battery bhi 10-12 ghante se jyada nahi chal rahi full charge par. Jabki pahle 2-3 din aaram se chalti thi. Iska kuch kar sakte hai kya ? Kai baar restart karke aur reset karke bhi dekh liya kuch nahi hua.
There is a much better way to repair the power button. Just order a new flexible through Ebay from China and solder it in. Was not really difficult with the right tools.
Looks like he jumped the positive side of the cable to the positive side of the power switch. My galaxy watch smr805 is bricked in reboot loop. Im trying this.

This is a worst watch...twice it happened for me..I bought this for AED 849 ...Now they said for changing the motherboard U have to pay 900 AED ie (18000INR)...Bullshit...
They must have changed the adhesive on 2nd gen of this watch. I have a first release of this watch that had a bad battery. I had to hammer my spudger in to break the seal to gain access. I've seen multiple videos of how easy the back case comes off and it's so not!
Thank you! I just did this. I tried the wire method like the video but that did not work. So I removed the resistors and then bridged the connections with solder. (Replaced resistors with a blob of solder). I'll see how long that lasts. I also ordered a replacement flex cable from china just in case.
