I've had my note 20 ultra for now about 2 weeks. Love the camera. I love taking photos and its incredible the low light function on this phone and during the day is gorgeous. The tips you give me are awesome. Keep up the reviews. Thank you
It’s okay on mine even though I use an exynos version but it’s definitely not great but still it’s able to last me a full day with a bit of heavy usage
Thank you for the video. I've received review units of the Note and Pixel each year since Note 7 and OG Pixel. I always end up on the Pixel for the camera alone. However, with no Pixel XL or "flagship" Pixel this year, I think I'm going to hold on to the Note 20 Ultra. The camera is a keeper.
Fact: "I have the T-Mobile (USA) Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset, since August 19, and for 2 weeks I was kinda sad for the battery life, BUT I noticed today (October 1), that it has much longer charge than before, even I have the same apps & usage. It shows that it LEARNS from the way you use it and it does everything to prioritize what it needs to be use". And we have 2 Note 20 Ultra in the house, mine (Mystic Black) and my wife (Mystic Brown), and we noticed BETTER battery life, especially AFTER 2 big software updates. So, MY own real experience is better than MOST reviewers, as I have it since August 19, 2020. We really LOVE IT! Have a great day to y'all...
I have always loved your review videos everytime and one thing that differentiates you from others is your level of detail.. you always cover those points which others can't do.. And yes, if you can please compare Xperia 1ii vs Note20 Ultra..and which phone do you like and recommend.. Thanks..
One thing I find most reviewers missed is the zoom in using S Pen. You can just keep pressing the button after doing the gesture to keep zooming. It is not necessary to keep doing the same zooming air action.
Thanks for explaining the lens in this phone. Nobody else really went over that. But that's why we're subscribed to you! Mobile reviews are a great move for your channel.
Very good review. I traded in my S20 Ultra for this and I must say that there is definitely an improvement in the camera division. Especially the focusing and the night mode.
@@phillippugh2161 The autofocus has been improved tremendously with the Note because it now has laser for assisting AF, like everyone said, night & day difference. The digital zoom may have been reduced from 100x to 50x but more importantly, optical zoom has been extended from 4x to 5x. Better clarity and less smudges in many comparison videos I've watched so far. Samsung US website got quite generous trade-in for their phones if I'm not mistaken.
But no the selfie ☹️ to be the top one the selfie cámara sucks! I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max I’m not Apple fan! But that’s the cámara that all the users do the most, so just be aware of the selfie camera is not good enough.
Does this phone have slow shutter speed. I used to have a Galaxy S 10 and the shutter speed was awful shots would come out blurry and I would miss stuff
Great video. this was the first time that I've seen a video of yours and you've got a subscribe from me. I'm also loving my Note 20 ultra camera. thanks for the tips.
how much of an upgrade is the camera from the note 10 plus? I take photos for work, do you think it's worth it? money's not an issue, just debating between the better camera of note 20 ultra or fold 2
I'm not sure if you have looked into it, but I'm hoping to get a new Asus Zenfone if I can find a supplier. My question is, would the optics work to install the telephoto lens on a 90º angle to the main lens and use the full length for some mega zoom? (obviously it would prevent seamless zooming as it switches from one lens to the next and it couldn't rotate all the way around for a selfie, but as a speciality option it's something I'd really appreciate. I'm used to my bridge camera with crazy optical zoom.)
3 years later and I'm still rocking it! It's the slimmest slickest flagship on the planet! Of course I got the xperia 1 mark V for the camera lenses but the note holds its own as an overall productive tool. Cool vid! 😉👍👌
Excellent professional review! A quick question: out of Xperia 1 II and Note 20 ultra, which is your favourite in terms of pro photography? I have the Xperia 1 II and I'm very happy with it, not wanting for the time being to upgrade to Note 20 ultra from the Note 10 + that I also have.
I've had a Galaxy Note since the original. The last few years I signed up for the yearly upgrade. Unfortunately, I still have to wait for 2 more weeks to upgrade from my Note10+. I always get a white Note when it's a choice. So glad to see this video. I wasn't a fan of the rainbow/aura glow last year. I am definitely not a fan of the pinkish looking copper this year. I've always thought the Note line makes white phones look spectacular. This year may be the best yet.
I'm loving the camera . I notice my videos are crisper then my s9+ was. Havent done much night shooting since I live in an area with 2 much lighting. Will try it out next weekend when in the pitch dark country.
I love the 100+ megapixel camera, I personally have the Google Pixel 4. With 3, 12mp cameras with included unlimited photo & video. It has an excellent camera, I would highly recommend this phone to most announced anybody.
Any progress with the camera software for point and shoot action, or do I still have to enter manual mode, put a short shutter speed like 1/500 in and by then the moment I wanted to shoot is gone? Also if I'm on manual on the tele camera with 1/500, when I switch back to the more light sensitive main camera, 1/500 would be overexposing without an intelligent automatic that would do a faster shutter speed, but goes for a minimum to freeze action. What about raw out of all cams?
Can we get your review with portrait photography and see if Samsung improved their software and reduced skin smoothing? Even though beauty mode is turned off this was still an issue.
I love the fact that you addressed the often overlooked sweet spot about the note which is it's productivity concerning creatives , I love that you mentioned it in detail unlike these other spoil brat reviewers on youtube. You have really restored and if not increased my faith in the Note 20 ultra guess I'm getting it after all .
It is supposed to be shipped to me October 2. I bought a brand new 512gb ultra for under 700 from Samsung. So, I cannot wait for this!!! I traded in my s20 ultra for it.
Yeah Ihave issues with overexposure. No one else is talking about it so Ithought there was an isolated case with my unit. Also, low light has such a low shutter speed, it's hard to get a good image when there's slight movement. I didn't have those issues with smaller sensor cameras
The zoom beyond 10x is super blurred and grainy tho. Im sad about that. I dont have a tripod. Guess I gotta go shopping if I want to explore astro and get moon shots
My S9 plus is still, surprisingly, working like brand new with no lag, even more surprisingly, so I'm keeping it for a little longer cause these prices are getting to damn high.
I have the Note 8 and I love the S pen. The camera does tend to overexpose. I just paid it off and didn't want to upgrade until it died, but you've tempted me. I've managed to not succumb to new camera fever. New phone fever is tough.
I jumped from the Note 9 that I just paid off. Really liking my Note 20 ultra and 5 g has been faster , I'm sure where I live it is still LTE but the signals are still an improvement.
My Note 20 Ultra still has the problem of it switching from the 5x optical camera to the 1x camera with 5x digital zoom, when I am too close to my subject...and without any notification. I really dislike that. There should at least be a manual override.
Love mine. PPL often ask what kind of the camera I use and are shocked when I tell them it's a Smartphone. I do wish I could stop down a little, but It's a Smartphone and I'm Happy with the performance, all around.
Yes the s20 ultra deserve a redo mines is miles better then before . The 108 mag sensor is the real deal , and the note 20 ultra is the complete package
I think I'll hold on to my Note 10 + for a while longer. The improvements are still what I consider, "incremental". Great phone. Great looking phone but well, so is mine. By the way, wouldn't it be nice to have an option of choosing the lens you prefer when using Skype or any other vid conferencing app?
Well it has the biggest sensor in cell phone . So I'd think low light video is good there's plenty of low light camera test on RU-vid of the note 20 ultra
S9+ to Note 20 Ultra Exynos (sadly) I'm really happy with it nonetheless, works good in games as well, thought it would throttle really hard but it actually doesn't (HI3rd, PUBG Mobile) That big aperture and that real bokeh effect really made me 💦, even on video it looks soooo good But yeah, the SoC gets pretty hot (around 45⁰C from Game Plugin), the battery fortunately stays under 40⁰C.
You can play with the Pro mode if you're keen on learning photography. Samsung Pro mode is the best so far in phone, got plenty of options, comprehensive controls for both photo and video.
Love the note... to bad I can’t buy it with the snapdragon processor. Outside the USA we stuck with the shitty exynos processor. Samsung is selling 2 different phones under the same name and price.
