Thank you so much for your video! There was no ice flow to the maker in the door. After learning of the test button, I watched the ice machine cycle through and noticed a piece of ice had lodged in the mechanism. Got that piece out and bam! Water flowed again! Thank You!

My Samsung side-by-side rs25h5111sr is not getting water to the icemaker but the water dispenser in the door is working and the icemaker works with the test button (except for water). I checked the tubing at the bottom of the door as I had to remove the doors to move it but everything checks out ok. Also have an occastional leak under the refrigerator side too and I've replaced the water filter as looks to be coming from that area but it only happens when the door is opened a lot. It's very hard to find someone that works on Samsung in my area and those that do have horrible reviews.

When I press the ice test button only the ice rakes move! Very slow at that but nothing else happens What is it? Why am I getting water but no ice?

After the ice is empty, it will not make more ice until I remove it from the door then re attach it. It then runs until the ice storage area is full. When the storage area is empty, I repeat the process? My entire ice making mechanism is on the door itself, it was manufactured in 2012.

Test works and dumps ice. Refills but then will not dump again when ice is ready

At 1:00 you mention "if a sufficient amount of water is supplied" ----- Mine is not supplying a sufficient amount of water. It's only putting in a little bit of water which would create small ice cubes (the sweep arm is not sweeping the cubes out either.

What was your problem ? Mine is doing this sometimes and sometimes it fills and freezes and will dump at a random time maybe 24 to 36 hours later . I replaced the icemaker assembly and the water inlet valve and it's still the same .

I have the same issue. Only about two-thirds of the tray is filled with water and is then not emptying automatically. I need to keep hitting the reset button for it to make ice. Did you find a solution

The test runs on the ice maker but no water goes into the maker during the test. It does not tell you what to do.

Samsung refrigerator only 6 years old. ice maker issues, water condensation leak with ice build up. I HAD PROBLEMS WITH Samsung WASHER AND DRYER TOO. they finally decided to refund me for both the day before our small claims court before the judge. Samsung phones and Smart T.V's are fine. I will never buy appliances again.

That's exactly my issue - ice maker not working and condensation leaks with a 6 yr old refrigerator. I'm the second woner so probably do not have much recourse.
