Thankyou so much for this video, I have had the 5E error code for months, thought I would have to get thee repair guy to come take the thing apart and clean the filter, i haven't been using it because of that. I didn't realize how easy I could do that myself, man it was full of dog hair I think.
Reply to Fred Morgan: Error 4E or 4C relate to a water supply or filling error. Check how quick it is filling and how much water is in the drum when the error is showing. If the water level is not reaching the correct level within a couple of minutes (slow filling) it times out and shows error. If the water is at a high level check the hose to the pressure switch as these can rub on the drum and make a hole. The pressure then escapes and the machine thinks it has not filled.
You have not given a make and model number, however on Samsung washers 'This occurs when the temperature exceeds 50, for over 8 seconds in the Wool and Delicate's course'. You may have to reduce your water temperature fed to the hot supply on your machine.
My washer displayed the “fN” code before dumping its entire contents into the washer pan below unit. Prior, we cleaned debris trap, removed, inspected and cleaned pump and it’s associated lines, cleaned door boot gasket/reinstalled spring assisted boot wire retainer. All appeared viable. Both Inlet Hoses replaced with braided SS. Unit ran well for 2 weeks until it dumped its water contents last night (pan prevented dire situation). Observed steady leak from bottom front panel, left side. We did clean detergent/softener drawer prior. I’m thinking boot gasket. What do you think? Thanks for video.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!! You are my HERO!! I watched your video (several times lol) and got the courage to try and fix my less than a year old Samsung front loader washer. I couldn’t remember the error code my washer displayed so I did another cycle and saw 5E then went back to your video and saw what to try...omg I couldn’t believe what was in there!! Mind you I have 3 young kids. I found a baby sock water bottle caps nestle crunch wrapper and rubber bracelets. Oh and like 3 gallons of water! Hahaha! Then I turned back on (thank you for that safety step I would of completely overlooked otherwise) and I prayed it would work because I had all these wet towels now and PRESTO IT WORKED!!! Spinning like a Maytag hehe. And my boyfriend told me to call Samsung customer service for a technician visit Ha! No thanks I found and watched espares instead 🤗
Hi Marcia, well done that's made my day that we were able to help you fix it yourself, remember to like the video and subscribe for even more useful videos.
Mine currently will not unlock the door and unplugging it overnight and back in it is stuck on 13 minutes still and door continues to be locked once powered on. After 3 to 5 minutes of it nothing it says AE6 each time. Thinking about replacing control board, and see I'd I get lucky, any thoughts?
Hi Berry, not an easy one to sort as the machine has detected an communication error between the main board and the inverter board, you will need to check the contacts and any signs of damage to either board.
Hi Adam, error code nF means the machine has detected a problem with the machine filling up, check you are getting water to the machine and test the inlet valve.
Hi Matt, how to access the motor in this samsung washing machine (b1245a) for checking carbon brushes. There isn't a removable back panel,do we need to use the shipping bolts to secure the drum before placing the machine on its side?
Hi Kiram, do not use the shipping bolts just gently lower onto a soft surface. You can lower the machine down as shown in this video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w9Fd8NWXa0A.htmlm14s
Hi... my Samsung front load washing mashing (WD146UVHJRA) doesn't give me any error code but it displays Hot and the lock symbol and it won't open the door... after a normal cycle of "quick wash" ... I didn't even used the drying ... could you please tell why is it doing it? And how can I stop it? Please!!! Thanks!
Hi Jeff, we can't find a dr fault code on the Samsung service site, can you hear the pump working? if yes then check the drain hose and plumbing but if no then test the drain circuit with a multi meter
Hi, this is where the machine 'thinks' there is a filling problem. If it is filling to the usual level (or above) just before the error check the pressure switch hose as on some Samsung washers it can wear a hole if it rubs on the drum during spin. For more information see another video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2pIVkAxWSXg.html
Hi Jenelyn Mahilum, it means the machine has detected the add wash door has not been operated correctly, make sure the door is closed and restart the machine.
Hi Praveen, this sounds like you have an unbalanced load especially if the errors occurred at the end of a cycle and the machine has either shook on spin or not finished spinning. For more information on balancing your washing see our video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uKBy-9NEF5A.html
I have a Samsung front loader WF1752WPC, This morning set it to a cotton load pushed start button and display panel board lights just started spinning around in three circles. I thought it may be a waiting to start thin but cycle didn't start. Any ideas? No codes came up just the spinning digital display on the timer panel.
Hi Marion, many machines now 'weigh' the load by checking what power is needed to turn the drum. If the load was either heavier or lighter than the expected load for the cycle or giving unclear results (possibly a large single item tumbling unevenly) the machine may keep retrying to identify the weight. Try on a different load or a different cycle before assuming a fault on the machine.
I have a Samsung top loader washing machine. I am not getting any error codes but it is not washing. The door is locked and can't I get it unlock or start washing. Have you ran in to anything like this?
+Maria Hernandez Many machines have a thermal door lock that prevents the door unlocking when water is in. Try unplugging the machine and waiting for three minutes. if this does not work see another video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s-_x2tSmd0A.html
Hi - I have a Samsung 8.0kg SW80SP top loading wishing machine with error dE - please help ! Ive read that this is a door problem but there are no locking mechanisms for top loaders
The door may not have a lock but there is usually a switch that recognises it is closed. There may be a magnet on the lid on some models that can come off causing this problem.
Sir I lost my fan belt of Samsung front loaded washing machine and I can't find the model number and how I identify the model number please sir reply fast
If the machine 'appears' to be working normally we believe the symbol is reminding you to do a tub clean. Check your instruction book for details on this.
Hi Daryl, if your door lock is a 'solenoid' type door lock (makes a loud click when locking and unlocking) turn the machine off then on again. As long as the handle is not loose select the spin cycle and start, then pause and when the machine double clicks 'bump' the door to try and help the lock release. For more information see another video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s-_x2tSmd0A.html
Hi Richard, We believe this is a fill problem (possibly due to the hot water hose connected to the cold input). Check the water fills correctly by selecting a cold wash or rinse and it fills to the correct level in the allowed time (usually less than a minute).
Your machine will fill with different combinations of water depending on the cycle. Check your water supply is filling correctly and see another video for more information: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VS48G_cwCXo.html
Hi diane, 4C2 means the machine has detected an issue with the water temperature, check the water hose is connected to a cold supply and test the heater.
Hi Kristi, the only information I can find on this error indicates it may be a eeprom error (the control board programme memory) so it may indicate you need a new control board.
Hi DS MATHENY, we don't currently have a video and we don't have your model details but most machines will have screws holding the top on at the back and an access panel on the back cabinet so start there.
Great video and very comprehensive, I just bought a WW70J3 machine and it keeps stopping with error code 4C. Checked all the pipes and water supply which all look fine. Cold water feed only. Any suggestions would be great....Thanks
+Fred Morgan Check how quickly the machine is filling. If this seems normal check the pressure switch hose is not blocked as the machine will not see the water level and shut down.
+eSpares Thanks for the comeback but now realise that the actual water pressure must have been too low. Previous machines have worked ok so thought that would this one be ok. Fitted to water main supply and now working ok
thank you for your video you forget to add in case of 5E code it could be the sewage pump. after checking for clogged filter then the blockage in hose . to dismantle this pump we schould remove the front panel all you need is screwdriver, remove the door seal also , the pump is the right bottom , chech the inside hose too
@@eSpares yes i know thanks to your video i have just repaired mine a samsung wd j1255 5E error code i changed a new drain pump and it was ok the electric resistance was good i powered the pump it works guess what ? the pump was weak under load when i filled the drum it stops from time to time and if you rise hight the drain hose the pump won t work so if you find the resistance good it doesn t mean the pump is good
Just had a repair person out to fix the latest recall - when he left he started a self clean cycle then it stopped and there is an error code flashing SC - what's wrong ?
The SC is likely to be the fact it is in a Self Clean cycle as this is not a recognised error code. If EMPTY you can check the pump filter is clear (use a towel or tray for the little water in the pump). Then if the cycle has finished switch off and restart with a 'test cycle' on a short wash to see if it has a problem.
Hi The Hardtail Hero, make sure you check the level of the drain hose first as if it's too low it can cause the error code, if it's a leak there will be signs of water on the floor underneath or at the back and water trails may indicate where it's coming from.
I have a Samsung wf330anw/xaa with a LO error code and keeps locking as soon as you close the door and keeps triggering the lock like 7 times and comes up with LO code..any info would be great..
LC1 error is indicating the machine has low water level (it has not filled to the correct level in the allowed time). Check the water supply is turned fully on to the pipes and the hose is not trapped. Also check the drain hose is not lower than the water level in the drum or the water may be running out as the machine fills. For more information see our video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VS48G_cwCXo.html
I have a Te2 error appear on my machine display. You haven't identified how to fix this issue in this video. Can you please provide me with some insight and some instruction.
+Keith Mitton We believe TE2 is a temperature sensor error so check the NTC sensor on the heating element and the wires/connector. If you cannot see a problem it is possible the sensor is faulty and would require replacing..
+Keith Mitton We do not have a circuit or diagram you can access but we have a video showing the sensor when replacing the heater at: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o0zLTtCbkkw.html
The error SUD is to indicate an excessive amount of foam or suds in the drum. This can be caused by too much detergent or a build up in the machine. . If this happens run a rinse and spin cycle and reduce the detergent quantity on future loads.
Error 3E is a motor 'tacho' error. this is a coil or sensor on the motor that identifies the drum speed as it turns. Check the motor connections and see our video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D5Aw7CBEGPI.html
Hi A view From South Africa, OE refers to the washi9ng machine has been unable to drain the water during the wash cycle, check the drain hose, filter and drain pump.
Hi.. I just bought washer Samsung WA45K7600A/WA45K7100A.when I tried to used for the first time during after the spin the machine was drain but the water filled again and has code Ur..what should I do?
We do not recognise an error UR but UB refers to a balanced load problem. For more information on that see our video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uKBy-9NEF5A.html
I am having no error code. Machine is working normaly than from 9 minutes goes to 10 than to 9 and like that until eternaty. It may happen on 31 min, etc... Any solution?
Hi Sasa, If the machine is washing normally it may be when it gets to the heating that it then starts to recalculate the time due to it, not heating, you will need to test the heater first and we have an advice article and video to help www.espares.co.uk/advice/symptom/washing-machine-is-not-finishing just copy and paste into your browser and let us know how you get on.
To release the child lock if it has accidentally been set press and hold the spin and the option buttons together for over two seconds. Pressing again for two or more seconds will turn it back on.
This is an excellent video! My error code says E3, I just would like for you to spell the type of coil you referred to in the video. I googled how I thought it was spelled and got some vehicle car part. Thanks.
So I found in the comments you spelled it "tacko" coil. I followed the link you provided, but mine doesn't seem to have those problems described. I just put my Samsung front load washer model number WF56H9100AG/A2 in diagnostic mode (by pushing "spin, soil level, power" at the same time). Went to "TST" mode and immediately blinks "3E2". Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Hi Jennifier, the tacho coil fits in the motor usually at the top but you need to check it as it may just be loose, here is a link to show you the part www.espares.co.uk/search/ca1236/washers-and-dryers?SearchTerm=tacho
Hi Rolf, it means the machine has detected low water levels in the machine, you will need to check the drain hose and make sure it hasn't dropped causing the water to siphon out. You should also check for a water leak.
@@eSpares directly on start bevor water come in? Th answer from service: " -Water loss at / below the unit - Microswitch defective due to moisture - Sensor triggered by a lot of moisture" You know where ist the sensor /Microswitch of LC1? The sensor in the base, inside on the floor panel, I removed it, this can't be the reason. No water leak, inside is it dry
@@eSpares I found the error source of my "LC-1". The water-/pressure sensor st-545 is the problem! If I remoe the tube + conect another short part and I suck it (I meah the lower water level) all ist fine, without suck or blow in, I have the LC-1 Error. Maybe its helpful for U. best regards
At 2:02 we say 'Now if your machine is displaying EB all BE this is a motor triac error. And this is normally to do with a fault in the control board. We do not have any other information on replacing this part.
i have a problem on samsung ww60j3083lw/le i think its a code 4h. it wont take water. maybe its something with water presure but i use open water source that has alot of presure becauss when i take off hose it just bursts water so the presure is fine. it has something to to with water taking into machine itself because it operates without water so i turn it off.
+Shrekas 2 Thanks for your comment, we recommend you have a look at our diagnosis video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VS48G_cwCXo.html
My washer has the hour glass icon on... and seems to be frozen.. it doesn't let me select a different cycle, or start... do you know what the problem is?
Try calibrating as shown in the instructions: For more accurate weight detection, please run Calibration Mode after the installation. To run Calibration Mode, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the washer. 2. Press the Temp. button and Delay End button simultaneously for at least 3 seconds. 3. Remove any contents in the tub and close the door. 4. Press the Start/Pause button. 5. The drum rotates clockwise and counterclockwise for approximately 3 minutes. 6. When Calibration Mode is finished, the “En/End” appears on the display and the washing machine turns off automatically. The washing machine is now ready for use.
Hi Iman MK, error code LC1 means the machine has detected low water levels inside the machine, check the drain hose is not too low which can cause syphoning and make sure you haven't got a leak which will cause it as well.
I got a WF328AAW/XAA which was showing error ND. I called a technician. He suggested to change the control board. How I changed that and it's showing error E3. What do you suggest? Also I didn't see this error code on this video. Tks.
Hi Marcos, "E3"could mean the door is not closed properly. Either there something preventing it from closing properly (blockage) or there is a fault with the locking mechanism.
If that does work try a machine reset as follows: 1. With the power on press and hold down the start button. 2. While still holding the button down turn the dial one click anti-clockwise (15-minute cycle on mine) 3. If it shows '8888' on the display then skip to step 5 if it shows 'E3' turn the dial back to the off position. 4. Press and hold the start button down and again turn the dial one click anti-clockwise (15-minute cycle on mine) 5. With '8888' now displaying hold the start button in for 1 minute. 6. Stop pressing the start button. 7. Return the dial to the off position.
Hi Srishti, we do not recognise this problem symptom. The best way to identify what is going wrong is to watch some of our diagnosis videos to establish what parts of your machine are working. For more information watch this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QYPqpjLV7s4.html
My Samsung Washer loads up with water first then after few cycles, it stops and motor seems to hum instead of putting in more water. Then it shows LE error code and nothing happens... WHY IS THAT??
LE is the machine thinking the water is not at the correct level. If your machine has two fill hoses (hot and cold) the machine may initially fill with cold then open the hot and have a problem then time out with LE. Check both supplies if fitted.
+Kamal Ayash The reason for a SUD error is the machine has detected to much lather. This is likely to be due to excess detergent or the wrong detergent type (must be for 'Automatic or HE high efficiency machines). If using the right detergent run your machine empty with a washing machine cleaner product to remove detergent build up and reduce the amount of detergent you are putting in.
Hi DS MATHENY, tE means the machine has detected a temperature sensor error so test the sensor with a multimeter, Cb is for calibrating the weight sensors in the machine which has probably been activated by mistake.
I thought I saw 'SC' on my washing machine (WF602U0BHSD) but I can't seem to find anything about it and so I assume its 5E since I know the door won't open since it's full of water
The error 5E is a drain error and is likely caused by debris in the drain pump. Lower the drain hose to a shallow bowl to let the water run out and when empty pop a towel under the filter at the front. You then can take out the filter and remove any foreign objects.
My samsung washing machine wf f-861 did not work in day time .. its auto matically shut, dont turn on same time , some time later i can power on the machine but after few swc its a agian power off automatically,, but its a proper work in night time with out any problem .what can i do sir..
TE is likely to be a temperature sensor error. Check the sensors resistance (usually mounted on the heater) with a meter. At room temperature (70 F) it should be around 60,000 Ohms. If it measures OK check the connections and replace if nothing else is found.
hi thank you for sharing this information but my washer show it like mesajes not like codes in my case sometimes show sd or sud msj please if you can help me I will appreciate your comment.
Hi Blanca, your machine is showing sud to indicate there is too much foam from excess detergent. Run a rinse cycle and use less detergent on your washes and the problem should be resolved.
I have a Samsung washing machine type WF1124XAC 12 kg I turn on electricity Switch on the power switch It gives display Accepts the washing programme After placing clothes and open the water tap when I press start does not work Stay for two minutes and then appears on the screen - Voltage Control - U/C call for service What should I do and what is the solution?
The error suggests there may be a problem with the electric supply to the machine. Disconnect the supply and check the power connection and wires are all tight and not arcing or burning.
This is caused by to much foam from excess detergent. Use a washing machine cleaner like: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1566874 and then reduce the detergent used.
Hi Fernando, we can't find any ss3 error listed, however it sounds like the child lock may have accidentally been activated. Look at the controls for an image of a child's face or a padlock with marks to two buttons. By holding the two buttons at the same time for 5 seconds it should release the lock if this is the case.
Hi Tim, UR refers to unbalanced load inside the machine, it means the washer tries to spin at a lower speed to adjust the load so redistribute the load and try again.
+s wilson Sorry we do not have the information for the diagnosis mode. We suggest you have a look at our diagnosis videos as this should help identify the problem see: ru-vid.com/group/PLZopaZU-UQSHj1noiwEJ99JjXWcEcSAbZ
Hi Rebecca, sorry to say the problem is you lol. Watch this other video as it should help to know how you are loading the machine incorrectly: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uKBy-9NEF5A.html
Thank you I have watch your video and I have not got this problem! My machine sound as if something is stuck and stops abruptly and doesn't move, but it will rotate be hand!
yes, it's stops before it's even gone through a wash cycle whether it's full load or half full. Goes for about 7/8 sometimes 10/15 mins? then jolts to a stop, try's to go again a few times, then stops, then flashes code UE says to call after-sale service, who do nothing as it's out of warranty. Which I purchase Jan 2014!
Hi Carla, error UC is a voltage supply error and may be caused by a 'bad' connection to the electrical supply. Check it is not UE error as this is a balanced load problem.
eSpares Thank you for your answer. I have already checked the balance of the load in it. I clean all the filters, emptied all the canes, changed the connection of the power supply and still persist the problem. Also, I re-calibrated the machine. In any case, I am thankful for your answer. Keep it up ☺
Your problem could be a loose connection anywhere from the machines power switch to the fuse board. If it is a poor connection it is likely to occur when there is an increase in power used ie when the machine heats or spins. This may even show if you plug a light into the socket next to the machine as it may cause a standard bulb to flicker if the power is the problem.
eSpares Ahaaa! You are right, because, most of the time, the machine stops after heating the water or spins.. What should I do? Shall I call a technician? 🤔
+Tina S. If the machine is filling but you get NF then check the hose to the pressure switch. If it is not filling check the valves and water supply. See our video: ru-vid.com?o=U#
Hi Fernando My Samsung Top Load Washer Model WA40J3000AW/A2 and am having a issue It makes a gear grinder sound during the wash cycle grinds and stops and grinds and stops and so on.. I've tried it with and without clothes and still the same The Ligth(Normal/No bedding Cycle) flashes on and them of and so on...it sounds like he tried to spind but stops also stays full with water inside, I check for any dirty stuff but is clean Need help Thank You!
Open the door and try rotating the drum. If it is catching or grinding it may have something stuck between the drum and tub. We are not too familiar with this machine in the UK but believe there is a bolt in the centre of the drum that once removed may allow the drum to be taken out and anything caught under accessed.
OK First of all Thank You for helping me, I did what you ask me to do I open the door and I spin the drum with my hands and sounds ok no noise but I forget to tell you that the company did the Re-call on this Washer machine few moths ago after that they send me some service repair company (Because the warranty) And this is what they did. On the First visit they replace the Main PCV, Called CX back after a Cycle. According to them shows this : Defect Code ARCS , Also Repair Code CR01 Factory Modification.(Repairs were made no change) The second visit they Replace Main PCB,Condenser, and Dampers According to them shows this Defect Code APPR and also Repair Code ALEL Aligment, Electrical. (Repair were made no change still the same) On the Third visit they replaced Clutch and Motor according to them shows this Defect Code DISP and also Repair Code ALME . Repairs were made no change still the same until now all this information i got it from theirs Service Orders they provide me.
I thought this was a 'new problem' not something that has been ongoing. As we previously stated we are not familiar with this model but it appears to be direct drive drum. On wash if the noise is still present it is likely to be a main motor problem or drum bearings/suspension. If the problem occurs when emptying i is more likely to be a pump related problem. Sorry we do not have more information to narrow it down more than this.
Understood ... I checked the pump is clean and working this issue happens in between 2 o 3 Min after we put the washer machine to work on normal Cycle flashes and not move the noise i heard is like the motor try to work for one second and cant make it and so on . But thank u for your help!
+eSpares No its not the door because when the machine is filling up the water it just stop I think it's the motor problem you talked about in the video
Hi lupe, Garment + The t-shirt with a + icon indicates you can pause the cycle to add more clothing. Some front load washers have an Addwash door which makes it even easier to add more clothing during a cycle.
