Okehazama on the Imagawa side. This stage is fun, both for liking the stage, the character choices, and whatever the HELL kind of demon is possessing Yoshimoto every now and then. Seriously it's creepy as hell. And I like it.
Imagine, Yoshimoto sniffed out the crafty beaver's intentions way, way before Nobunaga and Hideyoshi. That man belonged to the period of giants like Takeda, Kenshin and Ujiyasu. If not for the sneaky night attack at Okehazama,Oda ,Ieyasu really were small fry as compared to him. Who knows even the face paint might be a gimmick to make him look effiminate, cowardly and stuff. Let's not forget that it was in his care that Ieyasu learnt his crafty intrigue skills.
The clown face paint is Koei's way of depicting Yoshimoto as an idiot since he found a way to lose a war against a minor lord that he outnumbered 10-1. That type of incompetence would make Yuan Shao blush.
I really love the initial cutscene of this level. Whatever one may say, but with all Imagawa Yoshimoto's love for versification and the game of kemari, he was an insidious and calculating ruler who successfully nipped at the root of the conspiracies of military families... This contrast is striking, but only here it is fully revealed
this cutscene of demon yoshimoto really made dream about the next game Ieyasu being called Motoyasu in this stage and having a Ieyasu young version cus i think historically Ieyasu was 17 years old this time
