A video with me going around the San Diego Comic Con 2022 Convention - SDCC 2022 and giving a tour of the convention. In my tour video of The San Diego Comic Con International 2022 Convention I show the halls, The Convention floor / Dealers Room, Exhibit Hall , The Autograph room, Video Game Area, Panels, Ballroom 20, Hall H, Events outside the Convention center and much more.
Some of the things I talk about and feature in my tour video are :
- How to get into the Convention Center and scan you badge

Well done, dude. I've always liked YOUR Comic Con Tour videos the best, because they always feel like a veteran giving a newbie a THOROUGH ground-level introduction to the vastness of SDCC - complete with tips and tricks! Other videos lack focus (sometimes literally), or spend too much time on niche interests, but yours is the most comprehensive. I look forward to it every year. Thanks again for your efforts!

I attended SDCC for 7 years in a row (2011 through 2017), but have NOT been able to get a badge since then (sigh). THANKS SO MUCH for making me feel like I've been able to attend SDCC 2022!

Hey 👋 there. Try going as a volunteer. After this year’s Con send an email to Sue Lord & tell her you would like to be a volunteer for next year. You work at the time of day you choose for three hours then the rest of the day is yours. You could also offer a seminar for next year’s Con. If you’re selected you can get in that way as well. Do you write or draw? Get something published & you can apply for a Pro badge. If you get that it’s good for three years. Good luck.

As someone who worked in the trade show industry in the 1990’s (Chicago region) I found your video particularly interesting and well thought out. One of the worst problems that new visors can have at these giant shows is being overwhelmed by the sheer size and number of people these. Even not having seen a map of the convention site, I was able to keep track of where you were and we’re going to/through which is not easily done. One technical comment. In future videos, especially ones with very bright overhead lighting, you should pause periodically to wash/clean your camera lens. Because dust particles on the lens can impact not only the view but the autofocus of shots. This is a really minor point. The history you provided was interesting. It’s a little sad to wonder about who wasn’t there because they didn’t make it through Covid. Thanks for a great video.

They probably got ride of the badge check in when you go upstairs to hide the numbers of the amount of people that are in that area so they do not get in trouble with over crowding

Cool Comic Con San Diego 2022 Tour summary, thanks Shawn! I was there in 2005 as a presenter of a short film, but seeing all the cool stuff in the main floor was the coolest part of it. Met a few favorite actors too.

They should do a Comic Con West Coast and Comic Con East coast as large as it is getting alot of people that cant go because they dont have enought tickets for every one it would give them a chance. Plus you see quite alot of Normies not many Cosplay
