His face when he sees her sitting in his pew. "She can not be mine and here she sitts in my pew, next to me...at a f...wedding." He takes a second before sitting. ❤

So sad to see Sanition end, but it was absolutely an amazing series. I loved it. The acting, scenery and music, fantastic!

I love how Augusta asked Charlotte to sit by her, knowing that Zander would have to sit beside Charlotte. Oh, the drama.

And then that awkward scene with Alexander and Charlotte sitting side by side: Alexander: Mrs. Wheatley said there was something you wished to tell me. Something you could only say in person? Charlotte: I simply came to say a last goodbye. That is all. NOT !!!!! CHARLOTTE, THIS IS NOT TRUE !!!! IN A MILLION YEARS, THIS WILL NEVER BE TRUE !!! And then Alexander looks at Charlotte: OMG, the intensity of his gaze is to die for. They are so near and yet so far from discovering the happy truth that awaits us all: THEIR LOVE WILL FIND A WAY !!!!! ❤❤❤😄

I love how quickly Colbourne corrected Tom’s “our plans”

This entire wedding scene is hilarious--very Jane Austen-ish! One of the best wickedly-subtle nuances in the short exchange between Charlotte and Alexander sitting beside one another is when he says, "I'm pleased to see Mrs. Parker recovering well," and Charlotte responds, "So am I." (Did anybody else watching this scene catch that?! I missed it at first--just like Alexander does! I watched a repeat and caught it and laughed!) That was Charlotte's confession to Alexander that SHE WAS RECOVERING FROM THE BREAK-UP WITH HER "BETHROTHED" RALPH!!! ALEXANDER MISSED THAT SUBTLE HINT! Ok, so now here's the crushing line... Alexander: "Mrs. Wheatly said you had something to tell me that you could only say in person?" LVFOL (Laugh-Very-Friggin'-Out-Loud!!!) These 2 are sooo close and yet sooo far in this (wedding) scene!!! Excellent scene by the screenwriter! :)

These two were so frustrating in this scene. 😂 Alexander’s face at her “last goodbye” is so “WTBloody F?! I wish it occurred to Georgianna that Lady Lydia’s engagement would hardly be a secret if she was marrying the guy her mother wanted her to.

With all of the misunderstanding, things will happen, despite the difficulty, and you will find your passion and love. This is why I adore Jane Austen's books. Xander and Charlotte go and talk to each other alone already and discuss how the future is going to be great, with love and respect.💜💜💜

Hi Susan and Sanditon fans! (Can I say how much I love reading all of your comments!!!) Looking for some clarity and insight… Does anyone have an idea about the subtext of what Lady Lidia says? “Perhaps, you should build one” (referring to the church)… AC: “I would certainly consider it, if the occasion demands it” … and then Charlotte decides to leave immediately after Lady Lidia’s and Ac’s comments …. Trying to understand Charlotte’s reaction to their comments…..Any thoughts? Cheers
