Hi Peggy, nice plants, I just subbed and I’m gunna look at other vids. That cylindrica looks like one that’s called “Mohawk” but it may not be, there’s quite a few different forms. I have lancia, it’s a monster with wavy leaves, they all look like cylindrica tho. Hopefully you brought some of it along when you moved! I need to find some growers that want to trade, I have 20+ types but no cash to expand my collection

LOL so to keep me busy, I've started a , "what can I grow from the store", journey. 🍋 Lemon is doing great. 🥭 mango, About 200 🐉 dragon fruit seedlings are thriving! Kiwi, 🥝 guava , Cherries. OH! 🥥 coconuts. 2 of them hopefully germinating. LOL I just love plants. I'm finally after nearly 10 years in a big enough home to push up my numbers. Yaaaaa! I love watching you. So relaxing. I just came across you today and have subscribed ❤ I just started getting indoor plants after taking my Mom's 25 year old Jade plant. I have Cerebral Palsy and I'm in a wheelchair so outdoor gardening is a little hard for me but I am all for the indoor beauty's. Your last when is the nickname for that the baseball bat sansevieria or something like that not sure but I think I've heard it referred to as that... I can't imagine walking in the woods and finding things as beautiful as you found but Florida is a cold different environment than here in Maryland an hour and a half from DC and an hour and a half from Baltimore! It's beautiful

I am surprised you use grow lights with those beautiful Windows behind your shutters! I've been using LED light bulbs in lamps. I have two floor lamps but I took the shades off of that have a hundred watt equivalent light bulb and three other lamps that are shadeless with a hundred watt equivalent LED lights and they're all daylight you don't want soft white if you're going to use them for your plants. And then I have 6 LED 40 watt equivalent under the counter lights that I bought at Dollar General that I believe they've discontinued they were about $7 in the last few that I bought I believe for maybe $5 or less. So those are all in my bedroom and the plants growing under them are doing great even my orchids. I also have another shelf in front of the East window that I have 2 grow lights put on music for grow lights to under the counter LEDs at 40 watt from Dollar General and the plants under them are doing great some do not get light from the window because they're below the window level. I also have a clamp light with a hundred watt equivalent C and two lamps without shades with a hundred watt equivalent C and the plants seem to be doing very well. I don't think LEDs would work to grow veggies because there's not both color of the light spectrum needed for that. But you can pick up lights or rather I should say lamps at thrift shops at a reasonable price then just take the shade off and you got yourself a grow light.

Oh by the way I have 5 All Alocasia’s and 4 of them are suffering from spider mites they even gave spider mites to my Silver Sword so I don’t think I’ll be purchasing anymore no matter how much I like them they require a lot of work.

Ur plants are emaculate. I love every plant in ur collection. Gd works.we cant fight nature ,,God didnt guess ,,God knew what he was doing.i have about 7 pots of whale fins all through my home .you keep the gd works up and God bless you.

The one that you have outside you said you have 30 that’s a mohawk in the sense of area family and those plants are like I’ve paid $180 apiece for mine they are very expensive I’m in New Mexico I name is Willie you need to hold onto them they grow slow but they get very tall very expensive have a wonderful and blessed day

OMG the cylindracal in your yard is the coolest thing ever to just find! I have a entire rack shelf system in front of a sliding glass door we don't use and it's my Sanseveria kingdom lol. I just love the architecture design to these plants and I don't think they get enough love. I've never seen that kind before I wonder what it's species is.

Our local nursery has a very tall whale fin. But it is all flopping and looks horrible. Okay cannot do flopping over Sansevieria. I see where some tie them. I think that is why I like the Moonshine. Have never seen one of those flopping. Your whale fin is perfect. Now you need a variegated whale fin. I’ve seen some I like and goggles there I didn’t. What makes the leaves rip like that?

How come there is no "regular yellow edge" sansavieria in your collection? To common to be noticed? But, overall there are very impressive collection you've got there. I love the whale fin sansavieria the most, and the one with the thickest leave/blade as well. Great video...

Fantastic video! I'm new to live plants. I have three sansevieria plants. One is a Samurai that I think might be going south 😩. A couple of the leaves have little white spots on them and it looks like the edges of one leaf are separated from the leaf itself. Also, one leaf close to sharp point, appears to be drying out. I keep it in low light and maybe give it direct sunlight 3 or 4 days a month as it's in my bedroom. Water it once a month. Please send help?

Hi Peggy I love your snake plant collection, how can I get a pease of your cylindrica sanserviera I'm trying get one but I can't find that one, I would so I've to get a pease.

That resembles with those twin leaves the whale tail that you see going into the ocean last after the whale starts to dive! And they can tell those whales apart because they take pictures of the tail and name them accordingly. I know two of the whales names are salt and the other one's name is pepper. When I taught fifth grade we adopted salt and pepper! I used to sell crackers to the kids for snacks if they didn't have one at school when I said they could get a snack while they did their work. I taught fifth grade so we didn't take a break and sit and eat a snack they just were allowed while they were working at their seat to have some little snack before lunch. We ate the last lunch shift around 1 + the kids got quite hungry since school started at 8:30. I think I sold the crackers for 1/4 something really cheap wouldn't make much money from them but all the prophet went to adopting a whales. They watch the whales the gray whales up and down the East Coast. That whale tail sansevieria is on my wishlist I've never ever ever seen it here on the east coast in Maryland.... your whale tail is probably safer from getting Leaf damage in the house rather than outside with some insect munching on it or something scratching it or some little animal taking a bite out of it... It's too beautiful to put outside I would leave it in the house also to admire everyday.

Your second sansevieria I have one of them it's very small and I thought it was called or maybe the nickname or common name is Samurai... I love it and you're right it's fat it's almost like a fat wedge shape

Dear Peggy.. nu,ber 1 sansiverias.. can grow strong.. and healthy without any time in direct sunlight. but in high reflected sunshine and medium light ,and number 2,, is it good to water them from the bottom,, of the pot?

I have a pot of sansevieria moonshine that are busting out of the pot and there's a beautiful new one without any Leaf damage so I'm going to try to put them up separate and keep one for myself and see maybe like you said they want of your other videos keep the other ones to trade.... and I love the soft coloration of this plant I wonder why yours is so tall in mines maybe 1/2 to 3/4 as tall as yours. And your next sansevieria I have one that's only maybe 3 in tall at the most and it's another one that's in one of those little tiny pots

You have some really amazing snake plants so many different varieties I didn’t use to like them years ago because they either had the dark green one or the other common one y’all with yellow edges it starts with the letter L now there are so many to pick from now I have 15 different ones lol thanks for showing us your collection

Help! I left my snake plant outside on covered porch last night & forgot to bring it inside. The temp got down to 30 degrees F. I just brought it inside & it likes fine right now. My question is: will it survive 1 night in the cold?
