Is Sanskrit more than just a language? Why are Hindu texts rooted in this language, and what sets it apart from others? What beauty lies within it, and how does it illuminate various aspects of spirituality? Sanskrit is intricately linked to Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism). Many sacred texts such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and various sutras, were composed in Sanskrit. As a result, Sanskrit is deeply intertwined with the spiritual and philosophical traditions of India.
About the guest:

There is a point I am not hearing here, let me elaborate. I can relate this to another ancient language - Hebrew, specifically Biblical Hebrew (and by relation - Aramaic). The language when used in Praise or Prayer takes on a specific attribute and that is meter and rhyme - which when read, or chanted intuitively - reveals itself. What comes from this is a specific rhythm. So together the rhythm and the rhyme engenders its intended effect which I would venture to say is unification, joy, and an opening to samadhi. Then the hidden is revealed. I experience Sanskrit in this same way. This is the “sweet spot”.

Great point that I also just mentioned. Sanskrit harmonizes us with the divine even when we don't understand the language. The experience of this harmony is the true Sanskrit understanding...peace, love, samadhi

Great guest. Thanks Sahadev. On the eagle at '51 years'...I laughed. We devotees hardly care about these inaccuracies. The Satguru is not a scientist. He's here to challenge the mind and rejoice the heart. Our hearts know too much truth about Him to allow the conditioned mind to significantly disturb us. On a separate note. You didn't discuss sanksrit as the Cosmic sound and its ability to transform our bodies, minds etc. even when we don't understand the language. The reason we chant for example.

For Those who want to know about Hinduism Maha vishnu or param brahma is the supreme one he sleep in dhayan on cosmic sea (Akash ganga) Formless and shapeless he is embodiment of everything, In his one breathe (one kshan) create and destroy infinity worlds. Every world have it's own set of gods And for this world 3 main gods or manifestation Brahma (the creator) Vishnu (the preserver) Mahesh (shiva the destroyer) 33 type (koti) of gods are supreme manifestation --12 Aditya ([1]Anshuman = person with divine soul, [2]Aryaman= companion, [3]Indra= rain, [4]Twashta= divine carpenter, [5]Dhatu= metal, [6]Parjanya= lightning or thunder, [7]Pusha= Nourishing, [8]Bhag= part, [9]Mitra= friend, [10]Varuna=sky, [11]vivaswan= sun, [12]Vishnu= preserver or Avatar) 12 Adityas are the 12 months of the year. The word ' Aditya' comes from ' आददाना यंती'. These 12 Aditya never leaves a living person behind, everyone has same amount of time. --8 Vasu ([1]Aap= you, [2]Soma=moon, [3]Dhar=blade, [4]Dhruva= pole star, immovable, faithful [5]Anil=wind, [6]Anal=fire, [7]Prabhasa= illuminate [8]Pratyusha=first light, radiant) These 8 are called elemental gods (Vasu) representing aspects of cosmic nature because everything that we can see or not, resides in them. The word comes from 'Vaas' means to reside, and these 8 Vasu are essential for our life. --11 Rudras ([1]Shambhu=Auspicious one, [2]Pinaki= cosmic bow, [3]Girish=lord of the mountain, [4]Sthanu=spot, [5]Bharga=brilliance, [6]Bhava=worldly existence, [7]Sadashiva=highest manifestation, [8]Shiva= death, destruction and nothingness, [9]Hara=taking away sorrow or 2 spectrum of senses in body chakras , [10]Sharva=removal of sins or repainting, [11]Kapali=turn unworthy into worthy or skul cup) These 11 are known as Rudra because once they leave our body, it makes the relatives to ' रुदन ' i.e. weep as the person dies. --1 indra --1 prajapati = creation --2 Ashwini kumar twin gods of healing ([1] nastaya [2] dasra) And after tham many many demi god, enlighten sages, enlighten monks, avatar of gods, nature, half gods, local gods, kul davi devta god, etc Are also object of faith and worshippers. ⛔I MAY HAVE TRANSLATED 33 KOTI GODS MEANING OR ASPECTS INCORRECT DUE TO POOR TRANSLATION SKILLS ⛔ God is 1 but present in every aspects and forms

Can you do a podcast about changing on the inside opposed to changing outside appearance and what that truly means. Guruji said that devoting oneself on the outside and wearing a Tilak doesn't necessarily mean I've changed my heart. It would be a great podcast to talk about real transformation in depth
