7900XTX is a monster considering this is 3 months ago the 7900XTX has had amazing updates inching closer and closer to the 4090. 7900XT leaves the 4070 TI in the dust getting that much closer to the 4080.
I love this card. There are a few minor hiccups but with a little tuning and undervolting this card makes me so happy. I really enjoy nvidias recording features a bit more but couldnt give a shit about ray tracing so now that amd is bringing on the heat with these releases ill be using their products until nvidia comes back to reality. Beautiful card.
Hi thanks for your thoughts on this card. How would you compare the nitro to the Red Devil air cooled card in terms of stuff like reliability, construction, performance, thermals, noise, etc? Thanks.
nitro+ is the highest-end what AMD can offer unless you look for something with a waterblock installed, when it comes to aircooled nitro+ is the way to go.
What case you got? Thinking about getting an entire new system in 2025. Just got the 6700 xfx 309 12gb radeon from a 480 8 gb sapphire. Works easy for the light gaming I do. It only ran me 350$ luckily. My tower is super old at this point. HAFX from manyyyyy years ago.
@@Top3EntertainmentQuestion, i’m about to get a build done myself with this Case and Nitro+ in mind, is it necessary to buy more fans then the 4 140mm the Case comes with or will those be fine? CPU will be a Ryzen 7 7800x3D btw
@@Sayleverette that's perfect bro. If you want to eventually add more exhaust fans you can but that can wait. Feel free to check out me building in the lancool III on my cousins build
I have the same motherboard as you, do you have problems removing gpus from it? My bracket release seems to have broken and my GPU won't come out any suggestions?
@@Top3Entertainment it's to its max. There is no room to keep pressing and the GPU is still locked in. I'm probably going to have to contact Asus customer support. Big joke they are. This should be fun.
Im currently using the Rx6800xt and i'm very happy with its performance, but did you notice any coil whine while playing at maximum load? Mine at first used to be louder, but now its quieter. Pd: I also have the nitro+ version.
So how do I go from a 16 to 24 pin? I’m thinking of upgrading from the sapphire nitro rx6800xt to the same sapphire nitro 7900xtx. I thought it would be plug and play.
When it comes to gaming that is correct. But honestly the performance difference isn't to bad to be a determining factor if you like the design or cooling or platform from one of the cards to the other
@@Top3Entertainmenti ordered already 3 of these all had nearly the same coil whine, I dont know what to do, what would you do ?,( and I changed already Everything, the supply, i undervolted,I did everything you could Imagine) i don't know what to do I like the design I like the performance but I don't like the coil whine, my current one has even clock speeds over 3000 mhz on the gpu, 2800 mhz on the vram and I can undervolt to 1.070, 50 watt less
Hey dude Great work Can you help me out I can get either the 6950xt for 750$ Or the 7900xtx saphire pulse for 1030-1020$ Or the 7900xtx saphire nitro plus for 1080$ Which one would you recomend me Ps: I will game on 2k and the cpu is 7600x And dont plan on changing the Gpu for another 4 years minimum Thank u very much
@@Top3Entertainment thank you for your answer I can get the 7900xt for 800$ where I live Is it worth it? + Would you recommend that I wait couple of months before I buy for their new gpus Or should I just go for it now
Wow really looks big in your cabinet and taking up three slots thats absolutely monster. I wonder there is gpu sag after installing it? What are the max temps you got under full stress? I have cpu 5950x is it worth pairing this gpu with my present one? I will be upgrading from asrock 6900 xt?
@@Top3Entertainment Hi thanks for your quick reply. I am using 4K 144Hz 27 inch monitor with hdr support. My present gpu is running hot. I messed up with fan curve but can't go minimum 80 degree and max goes 90 and some times game crash. I am using asrock 6900 xt not 6950xt with 5950x. Are you using something to deal with gpu sag? Cause sag could mess up pcie port or even mobo as well
@@RSHouseOfGaming GPU sag isn't too much of a big deal. The nitro comes with a bracket I even made a video. Also have you tried changing your thermal paste?
@@Top3Entertainment I thought to change thermal paste for my gpu but I read a lot of articles on Google that thermal change doesn't make a big difference and most of the users were not in a favour for gpu thermal paste change. Sorry I am not so much tech savvy and can't risk to mess up with my gpu. I would like to know, your gpu variant would be suitable as an upgrade for my cpu 5950x oc to 4.6 GHz for 4K gaming in ultra/max settings? I will be upgrading from asrock 6900 xt
@@Top3Entertainment I checked your video too of installing nitro+ 7900 xtx with gpu sag bracket it was really time consuming for you. But if I buy in future I would prefer something better for gpu sag. I understand gpu sag doesn't effect much but I really care for such sensitive parts of pc and do best for them
Thanks for the video! Debating on this card, the gigabyte oc gaming, or XFX merc. Looked like the XFX kept pretty close with it most of the time. Does the Nitro+ perform any better with 1% lows?
@@Top3Entertainment Thanks for answering my questions. Had one more, sorry to be a bother. I was wondering if you used the TriXX software and if so what did you think about it? Never had an AMD card and I know some software is crap and causes problems etc. I thought about using their fan header thats on the Nitro to control my case fans with the GPU temps. My motherboard doesn't allow me to do that but I believe I need TriXX open for that.. as well as to set the rgb color and whatever else is in there.
@@Top3Entertainment Let's see here... They are super greedy when it comes to vram amount and vram bus width, they've completely abandoned gamers and are focusing on ai and deep learning stuff these days, which results in us getting inferior cards for very high prices, the new 12vhpwr connector is honestly very bad, and in the last few days they straight up laughed in our faces by releasing a 16GB version of an already horrible RTX 4060 Ti card, and it still has 128-bit vram bus width, which is laughably bad. I've been using NVIDIA for my whole life, but at this point, I'm sick and tired of them releasing crap after crap after crap and calling it gold. AMD it is, then. :)
@@Yuu_Touko Same here man I agree. Nvidia my whole life but not anymore I just bought my first 7900 XTX Radeon sapphire nitro card for $1500 AUD. At least they give you 24gb VRAM. I'm willing to give up ray tracing and path tracing for the price difference as not that many games support it anyway. Won't be buying intel either they are just as bad lately.
Nice card, was tempted to get the Nitro+ VaporX version of the XT but ended up going with the Pulse cos pricing was over £100 more at the time here. Looks awesome though.
@@Top3Entertainment outside of the 20GB vs 24GB of VRAM is there a big difference between the Pulse 7900 XT and the Vapor X 7900 XTX? I'm planning on using it on a 1440p 144hz monitor.
Something's wrong with your cyberpunk 1440p Benchmark. I have 152fps average without using FSR. The best (without using OC) is 152.43, 108.31, 234.69, 64.25, 9794. I just reduced the mV to 1.1 (if I'm not mistaken) and put the fast time in memory. I have a slightly salty hotspot so I had to adjust the fan speed to 50% to maintain 80ºC. I have a rig with 5900X 4.8ghz, 32 gb Drr4 3600cl14 and a reddevil XTX.
kinda weird you say cyberpunk 2077 in 1440P runs at 140 plus but you have it showing in the background and you can see the fps meter and it saying avg 52 huh
@@Top3Entertainment Thank you for the quick reply and for your videos. I can't find the reference ones at all, I'm outside the US/EU but I can buy the Gigabyte OC. I currently have the SeaSonic Focus Plus series 750W 80+ Gold with 5800x3D CPU.
@@ivanbondarchuk9360 you can put a rma request with sapphire but I think you have to go through the store in Poland you bought it from and do it through them
hi, i have this card, performance is good but on 4k games such as "evil 4 remake" " last of us 1 remake" in ultra config, temperature touch 100 selcious degree. (monitor:4K 144 htz, case: Asus GT501)
Tbh. This card is insane. At 1440p your bottlenecked by the cpu. My 6900xt had crazy gains going from 5800x to 5800x3d. Plus this card is meant to be pushed with oc as it Got greater watt limit and is able to keep higher overall boost clocks becourse of that. Just bought a nitro 7900xtx and gonna pair it with 5800x3d with 4560allcore oc vs 4450 Stock. And then on top of that ad 3830mhz 1915 fclk cl14 ram. Gonna be really Nice 🤩
@@Top3Entertainment would totally agree for 1440p 144hz or so its a waste. Even 7900xt aswell. Would say 6800xt is a better card for that. Since its Way cheaper and easy catch up with 1440p 144hz
@@DJESHGAMING sorry I was looking at the overall score. But yeah it has a little higher overclock but depending on game or application one GPU might do better than the other
I literally have had that happen maybe one percent of the time I have owned it. Buy it from Amazon so you can return it if it doesn't meet your expectations
hey, how are you? can you help me? I have an RX 7900XTX Nitro Plus. she is incredibly beautiful. or almost incredible I say this because my computer after a while restarts by itself. I have already reduced the power of the GPU. I already removed the xmp from the memories. but for some reason my computer restarts. my configuration is: b550 auros elite 5800x3d 2x16 (3200-360MHz) rx7900xtx nitro plus 850w source a detail. before restarting the computer. the monitor is left without video. then restarts in a few seconds. Another detail is that all of the computer's LEDs (RGB) remain accessible. gpu rgb, memory and water cooler.... I already updated the drivers. I've already used old drivers but nothing changes. hug!!!
