The reason this is highlighted is because politicians and elected officials are expected to show us good examples of moral and responsible living, especially if it's part of their platform! (Against same-sex marriage, single mothers, abortion, et cetera...) thing is, there are hundreds (if not thousands) of families headed by same-sex couples or single-parents that are more moral and responsible than Sarah Palin and her family.

Do we know why Bristol Palin was named Bristol? It's also a large city in the UK (and there must be at least one in the US) whose landmark features are the Avon Gorge suspension bridge and the SS Great Britain. End of commercial plug! (I live in Weston-super-Mare about 20 miles away). But 'Bristol' Palin remains a mystery. Perhaps Mom had a nice stay in Bristol?
