SAS S10 on The Chute. Double Sammy, Sand Hollow

In this video we start off in Las Vegas, finishing up the Nevada Backcountry Discovery route (BDR), head over to Sand Hollow and spend the day with ‪@MischiefMakerTV‬ and ‪@MattsOffRoadRecovery‬ . Myself and ‪@DirtLifestyle‬ take our Rock Landers out on double Sammy and go up the famous Chute obstacle. We also help Matts offroad Recovery, recover a electric 4XE Rental Jeep. What an epic two weeks of over 1000 miles offroad in the S10.

You are so blessed to be able to go out and wheel for days on end so often. Alas, my balance in life provides these opportunities but once every few years. I'm still cherishing my 2-week 23 Utah trip. But long weekend trips twice a year keep me satiated. Your build is a great mix of overlanding/rock crawling. Keep up the good work...saw you on Matt''s Offroad Recovery video.

Awesome build, Gonna take some time to clear out that sand hollow sand, think that it's been 3 yrs since I was last out there and I'm still catching it come off my rig! All well worth it!

I've only seen your older videos. Are you still rocking the 4.3 v6 and the 4l60? And what axles are you using. And how is the frame repair form when shocks broke the open channel frame a while back? I'm considering doing a similar build to yours.

I have over 20 videos documenting the whole build of the S10. Stock 4.3, built 4l60, Ford 9” and hp D44 front axle. Frame is holding up great.👊🏻

What an epic wheeling trip! The 10 looked great out there! I've almost got the motor reassembled for mine, I'm hoping to get it on the trails soon!

Any thoughts an making a new rear bumper? Maybe a flat piece of steel that turns under the truck to give you a better departure angle and prevent damage to the bed body?
