Definitely. Currently I'm working in a company which produces body implants. I mean, many of them are used in a purely medical context. But recently the company has changed its marketing strategy from "medical" to "lifestyle" (as I call it), which means they advertize to women's bodily insecurities with the goal to get them into something like breast enlargement surgery. I find this rebranding strategy detestable. More so, that the company executives tried to influence the workers with video messages which sounded really New Age-y, phrases like "we're all one big, beautiful family" and something about "unity" and crap like that. It's like they're trying to hide everything negative the company does underneath high-sounding words. That's btw. how I remembered this bit by Bill Hicks and how right he is. Also: "Do a commercial and you're off the artistic role call forever."
