In this vlog, we go to the post office, have a fry up and visit a local auction viewing day. Visit Little Dorrit's english restaurant in Woodhall Spa for a great meal.
This just popped up - what a great trip out, despite the weather! Donkeys years ago I bought some 'job lots' of bric a brac at a local auction house, cleaned it all up then sold it in the local car boot sale. You could almost bank on a profit of ten times the outlay - but, it was small beer and mostly for the fun. And then of course, a while later I tootled into an indoor 'proper' antiques market in the City Centre and spotted one of my best customers - selling what she'd bought for 10 times what she paid me! However, I was happy for having dabbled and obviously she was happy with her 'bargain'. Happy days. x
Martin and Sharon, that was some breakfast fiill you up for sure.. Auctions can be an interesting place to find stuff. I havent been to one for years but, do recall an employee was bidding on an item from back of room he was caught uping the bidding process. Until next time 👍👍
