The Endorphin Pro 3 is my absolute favourite shoe ever! Super fast but very comfortable. They just keep you rolling forwards. I’ve achieved PB’s in 5k and 10k in them in the same week.
Great review as always. I completely agree with both of you. I have both shoes. The adidas is a boring shoe. I don’t get excited to run it. It does the job, but Endorphin Pro 3 it way better. I think it’s a faster shoe at every variety of run and much more versatile. It’s also lighter on your feet. The upper is better as well. The speed roll and foam make it a fun ride and a better ride.
@@pawelk583 I have both and, to me, they are just different. Initially, the Adios Pro 3 felt stiff and uninspiring but, after around 20 miles, it started feeling really good. In fact, I've come to really like the Lightstrike Pro midsole foam. I think it just needs to break in and then it gets a great balance between bounciness and firm responsiveness.
I absolutely *LOVE* the Pro 3 and I have the VF2, which I save for the occasional all-out speed days. The Pro 3 is way comfortable than the VF2 and just as fast and more stable. It's great at slower paces too. I also love the Speed 3. Saucony nailed it with these two this year. Can't say quite the same for the Endorphin Edge for the trails but I need to give it more miles. The Pro 3 and Speed 3 are my top two road shoes in the rotation right now but I expect the Novablast 3 to nudge in very soon.
@@woidmoasta4673 Yes, the Pro 3 is more efficient with the carbon plate. Very similar to the feel of the Speed 3 but a little more of everything: propulsion, bounce, snap, cushioning - but less weight as well.
The Saucony is more for sub elite and popular runners and the adios pro 3 is more for faster runners elite in fact, is more propulsive and responsive and much more durable shoe the Saucony is reported to have problema with delamination of the outsole a common problem with many saucony Racing ahoes
Saucony do have an Alphafly competitor coming out soon, it's a crazy looking shoe if you've seen some images. Saucony is doing what Nike's done in making a shoe that's great for everything, and then releasing a marathon specific shoe. If Adidas had somehow made the Takumi Sen 8 marathon capable I don't think the AAAP3 being so slow would be an issue
Is the feeling and fit running in the Adios Pro 3 any similar to running/fit with the Boston 11 by any chance ?! Because I loved my Adidas Adizero Boston 11 and it makes me run for so long without getting tired ! My favorite long run shoe right now ! The Boston 11 is my first rod thing shoe from Adidas and it is surely not a gimmick , it really works amazingly.
The Adios Pro 3 is a much faster shoe for me than the Endorphin Pro 3. The latter is too squishy, has less curve and rigidity to the plate. It's comfortable but very slow for me. I have bilateral hallux rigidus and plated shoes have helped me run again but the plate must be rigid and extremely curved/toe spring.
spot on 3 minutes into video about Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3 the shoe rub and friction took off my skin during a 15k event, i gave it another try on a 21k event after foot healed and again shoe took off skin, bleeding bad injury
adidas uk size 9 is us 9.5 saucony uk size 9 is us 10 hence the need to half size up. i think it's important to mention that for people who don't go by uk size
I really like both, but prefer Endorphin Pro 3. The Adios Pro 3 has a lot of LightStrike Pro 3 in forefoot, which I certainly like. But, it is a late rocker geometry, and the roll through is not as smooth as the Endorphin Pro 3. At night, the highly reflective graphics on the Adios Pro 3 look realllly cool. And, I very much like odd, clunky look of it. The way it stands out.... Cheers
Thanks as always guys! Two questions please: 1. Any thoughts on the apparently frequent comment that the heel counter of the new EP3s causes blisters for many folks? Tempting to pull the trigger, but wanted your thoughts specifically on that? and 2. Debating waiting for the release of the NB Fuel Cell SC Elite V3s. Love my RC Elite 2s as my main trainers. I'd love to pick up the Endorphin Pro 3 at some point. FYI there are the same exact price in Canada... the Endorphin Pro 3 is 50CAD more expensive than the Endorphin Pro 2.
Check out the Speed 3. Not as snappy as the pro (nylon plate vs carbon) but what a shoe. Miles better than the previous version and you save yourself $90 Cdn pesos 😀
When the tester go a half size up the shoe feels completely different… in adidas half size up feels rock hard, because you land to much in the heel area of the food, where is no soft foam.
i was disappointed from the pro 2. Although light and stiff, i didn't get that cheat feeling of the alphaflys. And traction on wet road was a mess. I hope they fixed that on the pro 3
I'm keen to try the Endorphin Pro 3 but it's not available for sale in my country which means I'll have to mail order it. I'm a bit nervous to buy an expensive shoe without being able to try it on. I have two questions: 1) You said it fits true to size - would you say the sizing is the same as other Saucony shoes? I wore the old ISO Triumphs in the past and am wondering whether I'd order the same size. 2) I currently wear the Brooks GTS series, for mild support - are the Endorphin Pros quite stable? I don't have major pronation issues. Any advice appreciated! 😄
They are stable then other shoes in this category because the stiffer plate and wide outsole. Size is the same as my Speed 2 and 3. TTS. Also same size as my Brooks Hyperion Tempo.
Adios Pro3 is a pretty fast shoe. I would say it feels a little weird as slower speeds but great at faster. I haven't tried the endorphon pro 3 but the 2nd ones were not as comfortable on long range. I would say if you're looking for comfort at the trade off for weirdness the adios3 and if you're looking for a more normal feel but also decent performance than the endorphins. You may just need to try both and settle on the one that feels right for you.
hi. when you guys say true fit, do you mean your normal everyday shoe size. I have got saucony and Nike true to fit (UK 10) but found that my toes hurt. I have been told you should have half to one size up. thoughts?
hi is the sizing for ap3 same as ep3? i cant quite to try it on retail in my country, the ap3 only available online, can someone confirm if its the same sizing as saucony or not? thank you
