This is what a elven form of Sauron should look like. Easily passes as and elf, has an air of sophistication, and also has masculine frame with a touch of feminine to himself.
@@paocut9018 metal gear rising revengeance, the final boss Senator Armstrong. If you are not familiar with the game, he's the guy whose "NANOMACHINES, SON!" line has been memed into oblivion. Or if you have seen the memes, he's the really buff guy in a ripped suit getting his abs punched at supersonic speed by a white-haired cyborg ninja.
I love this game. But based on the time if I remember when it takes place Sauron has lost the ability to shapeshift. So he can not be Annatar. Regardless awesome game.
I love that he takes on his beautiful Annatar appearance, and it would fool you but then he starts speaking and you realize something's wrong as the voice doesn't match his appearance
@@dragonmaster613 we’ll see how far amazon’s liberties go in a few weeks… but i agree, stupid sexy shelob and conniving wraith celebrimbor isn’t too bad. and i won’t ever complain about the orc lore & content they gave us
@@alexv4383Most of the lore was surprisingly good and a lot of it actually accurate and matching to Tolkien's work. So yeah those were cool and neatly done
I loved how they did this, Sauron shapeshifitng and whatnot, they had this one scene in LOTR Return of the King that was deleted where Sauron reaches out to Aragorn and you can see a white light form of him through his armor, he looks a bit like this.
I was so fascinated to learn that Sauron though he’s a shapeshifter isn’t really an elf he’s a Maia like the wizards of middle earth he’s true form is unknown
These games were phenomenal! Everyone knew they weren’t based on the actual lore, but the developers managed to create something genuine and captured the spirit of Tolkien imo. Obviously not canon, but my gosh if this was made into a show, Amazon would be doing much better
When a non canon game is closer to the source material than the actual live adaptation.. edit: holy shit guys thanks for the likes dont take this literally just playing with words. Cant deny how god awful Rings of Power looks though.
@SamBoy 777 even though Celebrimbor was killed in Moria, but if I had to choose Amazon’s ‘Rings of Power’ and the Middle-Earth games - I take the games over them in a heartbeat.
No they don't. They make almost no effort to stick to the source material. The entire narrative is totally fabricated. Not one single event in the game has a basis in the books other than general setting aesthetic.
@@Mrikeepgettinmoneyagain Minas Ithil fell a 1000 years late, in lore it was Sauron who forged one ring not Celebrimbor, the whole story about Talion/Celebrimbor's war in Mordor, the new ring etc was made up and contradicts the lore, Shelob is definitely not a hot woman and she's as evil as it gets, not an anti-hero. As I said I don't mind it. For me nothing other than Tolkien's books and those published by his son is canon. You can make adaptation like Lord of the Rings, you can make a good fan-fiction like Shadow of Mordor/War or an abomination like rings of power.
it was later changed to a handsome Masculine Reddish hair Berserker from the south, claiming to be a lost king which was all a fake story for sauron's plans & The form is also another notable humanoid form of sauron after annatar.
I would love to see Celebrimbor and Sauron as rivals in canon, that would be so cool. Ringmaker vs Ringmaker, Elf vs Elf, Light vs Dark, One Ring of Power vs One Ring of Power. I love their polarity
@@dmagyo6631 you don’t need an entire season to realize how bad it is. It’s already extremely bad based on interviews and the first 2 episodes. Period.
The season done it's gone the power rings was a load of bullshit and boring shit and the creators should be sacked can't blame the cast ...those billions cud of been use more wisely
Maiar really do have it all don't they? Ability to shapeshift. Power over elements and magic. Some of them even disguised themselves as old men to nudge events in middle earth.
The Middle-Earth equivalent of Satan would be Morgoth, formerly Melkor. Sauron is a commander in Morgoth's army of Istari. He's like a high level demon.
@@Jake-rs9nqMm, I think Sauron would indeed come closer, because Melkor is one of the Valar: Godly beings that can create and corrupt. Sauron is a Maia, an angelic species, that was corrupted by his desire for perfection, like Lucifer. He cannot create like his master, and once Melkor was cast away, Sauron took over with an adorned way of ruling whereas Melkor was rather unstable because he was tormented with not being able to create as one of the Valar. Satan himself isn't a God either in religion, and on top of that, Sauron did not become a Balrog (normally changed Maiar that serve as the highest rank demons) because he had too much potential, so he was basically a Satan
Isn't Sauron the Morgoth's right hand? I mean, Sauron helped him to create orcs and dragons, at last. Also he took care at Morgoth's citadel, Angband...
@@SchwaWasHere nah, they did their thing. They were not supposed to be 3-dimensional characters, in Witcher world they are more like a force of nature, so them not appearing often is fitting. Everyone thinks they are ghosts, but in reality they are smartass big elves who act like ghosts, so that people make legends of them out of fear - that's pretty genius imo. Also their theme song slaps
A Maia is a being capable of manipulating a person's destiny except for man because we make our own destiny right or am I getting that species confused with a different one
@@Fallout4277 you’re right, Eru Illuvatar gave humans a short life span so they can enjoy their life and fulfill their destiny before death. Maiar I believe can’t manipulate people, though I could be wrong.
Finally, a moment someone quotes scripture and I don't thumbs down. Also, not many American Christians read that particular verse despite the ungodly behavior of their leaders.
I'm actually happy I got to see his human form or his elf for i should say I always wanted to know what he looked like under that armor ever since the first movie
Has anyone ever wondered how it would be if Sauron fused with the Balrog? Just me? Maybe too much DBZ lol but I think it would sick and he would be unstoppable
I get what they were going for with the Amazon version, with him being a Maiar and everything, but it just doesn’t feel right. And him being connected to the proto-hobbits is just stupid. They leaned way too hard into the fallen angel aspect of it without showing any trace of his normal form. Maybe it’ll improve when the big reveal of what he is comes, but let’s be honest. If the rest of the show is anything to indicate, they’re gonna screw it up. THIS is how I will always envision Sauron. An individual of angelic beauty and irresistible charisma, and yet his eyes glow with the burning fire that will one day blaze atop Barad-dûr. One who with one look you know could whisper promises of power and glory to the leaders of the three most powerful races, and have them willingly accept the thing that would spell their doom.
