Savage Grace was a psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in the late 1960s. The band consisted of guitarist Randy Palmer, keyboardist John Compton, bassist Steve Hall, drummer Ron Hippolyte, and lead vocalist/saxophonist/sitar player, Paul "Sage" Benadum.
While "Savage Grace" received some critical acclaim, the band struggled to gain mainstream success and disbanded in the early 1970s. Despite this, the album has become a cult favorite among fans of psychedelic rock and has been reissued several times over the years. The band members went on to pursue other musical projects, with Benadum recording a solo album and Palmer joining the band Poco.
