TOFD G. Thanks for viewing and for the kind words. I generally have had pretty good luck with the ELEY ammo. I actually expected to do better than that. That gun has a decent scope, better than most that I have, so I expected a bit more. But then again, it's me shooting. As soon as my local range opens up the 100yrd benches, I'd like to join in on your virtual competition with my old Glenfield 60 (Sear's version of the Marlin 60).

My most accurate .22 is a Ruger 10/22 that was my fathers-in-law. So, I doubt that I will be doing any great MOA's in the near future. (PLUS, THERE IS TOO MUCH SNOW!) Thanks again and take care.

JDM. Thanks for taking a look. I think the Savage 64 is a good gun for the money. In my opinion the 64 is better (at ~$140-150) than the Rossi RS22 (~$120-130) but probably not as good as the Ruger 10/22 at ~$300. Good luck and happy shopping. Thanks again and take care.

Thanks. I appreciate you taking a look and commenting. Generally, when shooting groups, I would use CCI Srd Vel as it groups better than the hotter ammos. But for some reason I picked the Mini Mags for this 100Y shooting. Thanks again and take care.

Wilbert, First thanks for viewing and commenting. From the shooting I have done, I expect the Ruger 10/22 is #1. The Savage 64 and the Rossi RS22 are similar. Now my granddaughter shot the 64 from 50Y and put 9 of 10 inside a 2" bull's-eye. Better eyes and more steady than myself. I think I have a video of that from around 18-months ago.
