A couple months ago I shot sixteen different .22 LR ammos from 50 yards, so I picked four of those to shoot from 100 yards to see what kind of group I might get with my Savage model 64 .22 LR semi-auto. Some were so so and others were worse, but it was a really nice day. lol

May I suggest that you shoot a 5 shot group to worm your barrel before you shoot for accuracy? You would do this every time that you change ammo. Other videos show this to help with accuracy.

Jerry. I appreciate your viewing and commenting. I don't really have any high precision rifles. Most if what I have are more for plinking around. @bobcatforever3485
@bobcatforever3485 Год назад
JDM. Thanks for taking a look. I think the Savage 64 is a good gun for the money. In my opinion the 64 is better (at ~$140-150) than the Rossi RS22 (~$120-130) but probably not as good as the Ruger 10/22 at ~$300. Good luck and happy shopping. Thanks again and take care.

Thanks. I appreciate you taking a look and commenting. Generally, when shooting groups, I would use CCI Srd Vel as it groups better than the hotter ammos. But for some reason I picked the Mini Mags for this 100Y shooting. Thanks again and take care.

Wilbert, First thanks for viewing and commenting. From the shooting I have done, I expect the Ruger 10/22 is #1. The Savage 64 and the Rossi RS22 are similar. Now my granddaughter shot the 64 from 50Y and put 9 of 10 inside a 2" bull's-eye. Better eyes and more steady than myself. I think I have a video of that from around 18-months ago.
