Saving dead Wii U's with a £6 chip!!

Bought this Wii U many years a go and its been in a cupboard ever since, I thought it didn't output a picture so would need a new hdmi chip but wasn't expecting to find it was bricked!
Had a few spare Rp2040 chips so decided to see if it could be used to flash a Wii U to save it.
The chip costs around £6 ($7.66) so well worth trying.

Приветствую, у меня необычная проблема с wii u, приставка jp региона, ситуация заключается в том что основной профиль имеет пароль да я знаю что можно обойти его путем создания нового профиля и далее делай что хочешь с приставкой но проблема в том что я не могу создать новый профиль так как нет свободной памяти )) и расширить память не получится пока я не зайду на рабочий стол только потом после установки той же usb флешки он автоматически отформатирует ее и память расширится. Вот такие дела и не какие recovery menu не помогут перепробовал много что. У вас есть какие нибудь идеи?

hay manera de hacer un factory reset con este metodo? ya que tengo una que sube todo normal y me pide crear un usuario pero luego me dice que no tengo espacio y no me deja entrar a configuracion

what about all the saved files and everything that you downloaded before, is it still there ?

To be honest I bought it years ago faulty so it wasn't mine but to be honest if I had to guess I would say it would wipe it all completely

First try it try boot this secreen but it tearn of now it is boot normal i was try to inter this xploit to bypass gamepad region... 👏

I just got a Wii U today. But it gave me that error code: 160-0103. How do I fix it?

There is a problem with your system memory unless it is modded and has a backup data it might be beyond repair. But if it does have a backup you need something called a Wii U nand aid in that process is a pain in the butt to go through. Yeah to attach it to the main board .

Hi and thanks for the tip :) ! Sadly My RPI disconnects after drag/drop but the file is not present...Windows says my peripheral can't be configured does anybody have the same problem ? if so, how can I solve the problem ? Thanks guys ;) ! I got exactly the same RPI on the video ordered from Aliexpress

When you drag a file to these, they do disconnect and don't then show up with any files on, this means it has the file installed correctly

basically if you don’t have isfxhax installed prior to whatever caused the brick, you’re screwed and this is the only way (however, it’s kinda a superpower to fix ANY brick once it’s in there :))
