I know it’s 6 years since posting but I just had a thought of how funny it would be if when the suit up, Rick Astley is revealed!! The ultimate Rick-roll!!!
If salvitar was mc, I would not mind watching this. Also what is wrong with the mc. He could be living up the high life and doing stuff around the world. Instead he is living in a small town doing routine stuff.
I feel this reveal should have happened 4-5 episodes ago. One of the frustrating aspects of season 3 is that we didn't get to see Grant play Savitar for longer. He was so much fun in the role and it could have been so cool to see more of him.
MrExtreme198 Some people expect the flash to be a fun super hero show like season 1&2 were but season 3 took a way darker turn almost like arrow in a way
I felt it somewhat a step down from the first season but still a terrific season which I enjoyed and this is still one of my favorite Flash scenes of all time.
My least favorite part is how they nerfed Savitar after his first fight with Barry and also took away his cgi suit and gave him the awkward normal suit that had no neck
Anime4 Mii the comics is the true source of everything, but they can't go too far off the original source. Kind of like how it is in the walking dead show. Speaking of that... I'm disappointed in what that show has turned into
6 years later and this is still the best villain reveal in all of television history..... I couldn't HAVE EVER GUESSED that savitar was a time remnent of barry🤯
@@Zanoladab what? I’m saying he doesn’t read them does it matter if it’s obvious 💀. You’re just making a pointless argument and blandly agreeing without knowing. Blocked.
I'm here! I'm here! I know who you are. - It's about time. - Yes, it is. Everything with you is about time, isn't it? The past, the present, the future-- you know all of it, right? And you know everything about me! About Joe! About Wally. And Iris! You know our strengths. You know our fears. You know how much we love each other. And you know how to use that love against us. All this time, we thought that we couldn't stop you because you were one step ahead, but that's not it! You don't just know what's gonna happen to us. You were there. You lived it. You remember... When you were me. - Like I told you from the beginning... I am the future flash
Nicely done. I was really excited when this happened, cuz I thought it meant that Barry was destined to one day become Savitar, and so he'd have to fight against fate itself to not only stop Savitar from killing Iris, but to keep himself from eventually becoming Savitar. Would've been a potentially fascinating look at fate and playing god (which was a theme already established by Savitar's self-described godhood as well as the flashpoint universe). Plus it means emo Flash in that one episode where goes to the future would eventually evolve into Savitar, possibly even as a direct result of past Flash going to the future to re-inspire him to take up the role of speedster defender of central city. Would've been a fun little twist on fate. Needless to say, I was kinda disappointed when they just connected it to the logically fallacious concept of a "time remnant".
It's like I'm watching a different show. THIS was quite literally the peak Flash. Arrowverse for 2016/2017 was in general really good. Savitar, HR, Prometheus, Slade, Vigilante
I really liked this reveal with Barry just putting it together from all the clues and just Savitar saying what he’s said all season “I am the future flash”
I literally do not care what other people think anymore. I have loved every show, season, episode, and aspect of the whole entire Arrowverse. Fight me.
Some are better than others. Season 4 had good moments but it felt meh overall. Season 5 is severely underrated as I loved it. The fuck was Season 6? Arrow, while Season 3-4 were a couple of duds, the rest was brilliant. Supergirl has been choppy....I feel like they never really knew where to take the show and didnt utilise some excellent comic storylines. Legends was great at the beginning but now its just "what the?". Batwoman was okay, I'm gonna miss Ruby Rose though. Black Lightning is its own game, like even post-crisis, I like they aren't letting the other shows affect it too much and its staying true to its own. The real test is how the Arrowverse will continue past crisis, with Supergirl ending next season, Arrow gone, a new Superman show coming and Batwoman having a lead change, Flash is obviouslly got some life left (we'll see where Season 7 goes), and that Green Arrow and The Canaries show not being confirmed to even be going ahead, we'll see how things progress....but I feel like the Arrowverse may losing a little steam from here. Perhaps its time they cut down on the filler episodes
You can love it, but you can’t deny the fact that many aspects of the arrow verse are bad. For example: Season 3 and 4 of flash and arrow are ass Season 5 of the flash was also ass Season 6 and the second half of season 7 of arrow are bad There are many more, but I don’t want to make a large list
Yeah, the first 3 seasons big boss hide their Identity but Savitar reveal shock the viewer the Most, RF is kinda obvious abd Zoom is kinda notice able by comic book fans when they brought earth 1 Hunter Zolomon
I love how early on he basically told him who he was but kept it low key, so later he can be like I did tell you who I was, did you miss the memo? lol.
@@Da_caffeinated_insomniac I stopped watching half way through season 4 but temptation of Barry Allen was really good all the rest i can't watch without cringing.
Joe Gilbert although I understand what people were saying about this season. I agree with some of what you’re saying. This was the best reveal I just wish it was sooner because it would’ve been more shocking
Coming back and watching this again, I remembered a hunch that I had back then. Julian did not pause for a comma when he said, "I am the Future Flash." not "I am the future, Flash." Damn that writing was good. Went downhill from here tho.
My question is why was Savitar not scared when Barry figured out who he was, he looked more pleased. He should’ve been for scared because he should’ve recognized that if Barry knew who he was the future and outcome of his destiny is changing fully.
Didn't expect to find you here but anyways, Savitar was expecting his future to change since he was going to make himself omnipitant existing every moment in time and break free from the cycle of his birth and being trapped in the Speed Force.
This reveal was good since the show lead me to brush up on my Flash lore. I was expecting some references to Savitar’s comic identity but after the Blue Flash stuff in the New 52 it makes more sense. God Complex aside, that Flash’s motives put here would’ve made the season more interesting. Other then the whole kill Iris angle.
Want to know what sucks the most. I'm actually on this episode at the beginning and I couldn't take it anymore of not knowing who savitar was and I just SPOILED THE WHOLE DAMN THING
I love this scene. Its like Barry asked himself who he would become without Iris and inside him, he felt he would do what Savitar would do, then he put the pieces together
I hope we get a long mystery on the villain's identity again at some point. It seems like all the villains and their identity is revealed in the first couple of episodes, or before the season even airs.
Everybody saying the reveal should have happened a long time ago, but he just kept having to deal with shit, and this is the only time he's gotten to really sit and think whoch is why he took so long.
Not gonna lie but when Savitar’s identity was revealed I thought he would be either Barry’s doppelgänger from another earth or his long lost twin brother just like in the old comics
Be honest, who here has figured it out immediately when the man was like “I am The Future Flash” 24/7? Yea I know it sounded like “I am the future, flash” but either way I figured it out way before the big reveal
Netflix has the captions "I am the Future, Flash." But when I heard that, I turned to my brother who had already watched the season and was rewatching it and went "why does he keep saying that? It sounds like he's saying he's the future Flash." And my brother just goes "maybe he just wants to direct his statement at Barry." I knew something was up with that statement.
