SAW's BIGGEST Questions! EPISODE 2! From the full Saw Franchise! 

The actor who played Daniel Matthew’s WAS actually supposed to return in saw 3D during the survivor rehab scene, but there was scheduling conflicts.

It seems to me that there MUST have been more traps in the early days that we're just never shown. A few years go by between the 1995 killing of Cecil (time based on the year of the pig celebration) and the first movie. Now if we assume there was, at least one of these had to include: - A Billy the Puppet video for Hoffman to base his own on. - A more elaborate/theatrical trap. The second point I bring up because it's hard to imagine Hoffman seeing a few small, relatively simple traps and then going full pendulum. I'm thinking at least one trap must've been more elaborate, something akin to the Human Blender Cycle Trap or the Rack. The inconsistency with the list of victims then; I mean you could say that there was a second page to that file and that for whatever reason the list was a bit out of order? A bit of a stretch, but then, Mark Wilson is shown to have been killed later than Paul in the sequence of the first movie even though he comes before on the list, so maybe? There's no clean way of putting it together, but being rational about it, I think these things must've been the case.

I think it would be cool if Daniel Matthews became a lead detective in bringing down the jigsaw operation as I’m sure many apprentices and copycats likely continue

I think the list in Saw V is a typo; Mark's game (flammable jelly) couldn't have been before Paul's trap (razor wire), because Gordon's pen light was found at Mark's game.

What if there were other victims who survived like amanda and had Billy appear in their trials? Maybe that's how Hoffman knew to use the puppet himself.

Perhaps John had a shot tape of the puppet he was planning to use for his early traps but never used it. Hoffman maybe finds that in the mountain of evidence in the mannequin factory

Also with Dr Gordon, he was not wearing a wedding ring when not wearing gloves in the montage or at the survivor’s meeting.

Saw3D has shown us there were other survivors from games we've never seen before. There was the woman on the TV that Bobby Dagen got his inspiration from to write a book, there was the woman from the lawnmower game and there was another woman missing an eye (this is a deep cut easter egg - she was actually the woman whom Hoffman almost bumped into on the elevator in Saw V so she must have been tested later on...I guess Hoffman didn't like her scolding him lol). I suppose it could be assumed those previous 2 survivors had games played before Mark featuring the Billy Puppet. The decision to add the sequential crime list in Saw V in retrospect was a big mistake due to it causing continuity errors. But at the time it worked well for showing us how Strahm knew to visit each location. As for questions I had: 1 - What happened to Det. Fisk? He was always a part of the Jigsaw investigations so for them to just leave him hanging with no resolved conclusion is upsetting. 2 - How did John (Zepp) know to call that specific hotel room to talk to Dr. Gordon in SAW? Did his mistress, Carla, tip them off? Is SHE the secret, secret apprentice?? She was working alongside Zepp and tending to John while in the hospital after all...JK 3 - What do John's sibling(s)s make of all that happened? We learned in Jigsaw that John has a nephew so he must have at least one sibling. Will we see a scene in Saw X of John telling his twin brother he's off to Mexico for an experimental treatment?? Again JK haha. But yeah, I would absolutely love to learn more about John's immediate family members.

You are wrong about Mark Wilson. He dies AFTER Paul Leahy. Why? Because in Saw V, after they set up the Razor Wire Maze, John instructs Hoffman to plant Dr. Gordon’s penlight at a trap to throw off Tapp and Sing. In Saw I, they find the penlight at Mark Wilson’s trap site. So he died after Paul, and that means Hoffman helped John set that trap up. Besides the Barn Game shown in Jigsaw (which the police didn’t find), the only known and named test subject prior to Seth’s death was Cecil. That’s it. No one else.

I have theorized that jigsaw has a whole crew. Here is how it goes. Jigsaw sets the plans in motion for a game. One of his followers who is good at scouting locations and has a lot of money find a suitable location while working with the trap builder and an electronics expert to determine what is needed. Once the traps are made, a couple different snatchers are put to use who make certain the required people are in place while the trap builder puts on the traps with the assistance of a surgeon who makes the required adjustments. Once everything is in place they just wait for the victims to awaken and the game to begin. The game is carefully monitored. If someone survived then the surgeon and the cleaner will arrive. If the person is a convert then the surgeon will help the survivor live but if you are not a convert then you are killed. The cleaner will also examine areas to ensure there is no incriminating evidence left behind. This explains why Riggs is dead as likely after Hoffman left Gordon arrived only to find out Riggs was not a convert so he was killed. As for why hoffman did not get that help, he started to do actions that put the rest of the crew at risk so they abandoned him until after he had destroyed all evidence tied to him. Then gordon and two others stepped in to take him out. The reason why hoffman was surprised was because some members of the crew do not know all the others so as to ensure they can not incriminate everyone else. Hoffman knows amanda and john but he does not know gordon or the rest of the crew so that is why he was surprised when they attacked him as he never met any of the extra people involved. Very likely the only person who knows the most people is gordon but even he may not know who the electronics expert is or the scout/financier. As for the timeline, I think the reason why the time line is so messed up is because a lot of what we know is based on the cops, victims, and outsiders understanding of the timeline and not the actual one.The only one who knows it all is the person scouting the locations and financing it. The actual timeline is likely a lot different. There are also a lot of things the cops do not know. Games the cops never found. The people who survived these games went on to carry out some of these roles that I mentioned above. That is why there is plenty of room left for more movies as right now we are operating with in several huge gaps in the timeline with few explanations of who did what, where, and when.

You could go back to Saw 3D and check to see if Gordon is still wearing a wedding ring. Could be a little more of an idea about what his family situation was like post Saw.

I want to know what happened to Lynn's and Jeff's daughter, poor thing. She lost her brother, then was ignored by her parents and THEN she gets abducted and orphaned. On top of everything she's named after a car.

I’d love the know what happened with Daniel Mathew’s. Eric Mathew’s his dad has always been my favorite character

I love the 2nd trilogy 4, 5, and 6 even tho I’m not the biggest fan of Hoffman, the whole story with Straum chasing him down was great

These were all very good unanswered questions! My brain was most definitely twisted with these😂 I would definitely like to see a part 3 to this and I have a feel Saw X will leave us with some more unanswered questions when it comes out!

MY FAVS! Love you guys 🫶🏽 Eric Knudsen (Daniel Matthews) in a interview said he would love to comeback and play Daniel matthews and that theres a lot of unanswered questions that should be solved. I still believe he’s one of the people in the pig mask one of them was short and he’s short so it would make sense My unanswered questions 1. Where is Brit now?- We saw mallick in the jigsaw survivors group. We know he’s healing. But as for Brit, where is she? 2. Did bobby Dagen survive?- we saw his wife Joyce get burned into crisp in the plane after it closed. Which was brutal and sad. Could he have possibly disappeared and went into depression? 3. What was amanda and adam relationship like and why did they break up- amanda and Adam used to date and amanda “killed” adam in saw 3. Why would she kill him coldblooded like that? 4. Why didn’t Gordon go back for Adam nor mention Adam to John?- Gordon promised Adam he’d comeback for him. Could Gordon possibly have changed his mind about Adam after learning jigsaws philosophy? 5. Was Xavier selling drugs to Addison?- Xavier insulted Addison saying “the only door she know how to open, is between your legs”. FYI she was prostitute and Xavier was a drug dealer. How did he know what she do? Did he sell drugs to her in an exchange for sexual pleasure?

I think the Gordon’s family question probably just has the simple answer of his wife left him and took the kids. Because he never spent any time with them. Because he became a Jigsaw apprentice :P

umm regarding the jelly trap being after cecils game I think that maybe the prop containng all the jigsaw victims in "order" is in itself a continuity error. if the Jelly Trap was first then that means that the cops found Pauls game (razer wire trap) second theirs an issue with that when you consider that Dr Gordon's Penlight was found at Pauls game. for continuity you'd have to assume that Paul's game definitifly happened first otherwise we'd get a scene with them finding the penlight at paul's game instead of at mark's game. it's also seemingly a crime scene that looks like they've just discovered it as well. I belive the order of the victims before the saw movies goes as follows Cecil's Game Barn Trials Seth Baxter's Game Paul's game Mark's Game Amanda's Game if you look at it like this it seems that Jigsaw has killed 2 people that the cops are aware of before. the only thing I cannot explain is Billy The Puppet being at seth's game billy shouldn't be there but I'm willing to accept that billy was hoffman's idea and John really liked the way it looked and started using it for Amanda's game

My question is. How did the picture that detective tapp took of zepp in Dr Gordon's house get into the bag of saws in the toilet. And it shows him saying he knows it's zepp. How would anybody get that photo from tapp cuz i thought it happened the same night zepp fights with him and lures him to the bathroom game where he ends up dying and then zepp opens the door to kill dr Gordon and ends up getting killed by Adam. Idk if wrong but my understanding is that picture was taken after they discover the saws in the bathroom. It would be impossible for that picture to be in there

But didn't John use Billy the puppet in the Barnyard trap? So then he didn't take the idea from Hoffman and there must be a trap in the timeline that included Billy the puppet bur wasn't on the list. Maybe that list was not the most updated one and the police were working on a new, updated list they hadn't had a chance to finish?

It would be cool to even just see a cameo of Daniel Matthews like he could have gone into politics and is going after police corruption because of his trap

Do you think John or Hoffman had a secret kid? I like the idea of John having a kid he didn't know about, maybe who picks up Johns mantle and starts helping Gordon. I don't like the idea of Hoffman coming back. He's gotta die in order fo Johns work to feel accomplished. Otherwise I think it destroys Johns legacy he started. Maybe Hoffman's son helped him out during the last few movies since it was just him. And now his son comes for revenge on Gordons family again? Maybe Goes after some of Johns followers. Ryan and the other guys family? Daniel Mathews who was a an apprentice. I think that would be awesome if they continued the franchise this way bringing back apprentices familys and stuff for a big showdown. That would be a great way to continue the franchise while also bringing some of the survivors and apprentices back. Also did you see the interview where the directors let us know on some things that will be in the movie? Love yall

I think it is POSSIBLE that Amanda's Trap took place before Hoffman's, hence why Hoffman knew about Billy the Puppet.

We need to find out who all the pig faces were in Saw 7. Easily the biggest question

No no no no… doesn’t make sense for mark to be a victim before Hoffman kills Seth, because mark def took place after jeff since kary says “this time he left us his pen light” and jigsaw gave Hoffman the penlight to frame Gordon during Jeff’s trap, so there must be some other jigsaw murderer killings that took place between Seth and Cecil, and it CANNOT be mark because Hoffman was already an apprentice by the Time mark was tested

Why did jill try to kill hoffman for punishing amanda when she was responsible for the death of hers and johns baby.she had to of known because she read the letter that said it.

@Horror Sauce OK! I have a DOOZY on an Unanswered Question for you.... That maybe will get an answer in SAW X - But given the movie Franchise now being so damn Large, I doubt that it will be an accurate answer! It becomes very obvious that Jigsaw has been doing his tests for a While... BUT JUST HOW LONG HAS JIGSAW BEEN ACTIVE??? Ignoring Saw X... Sorry but we have to unless they have realised that this really needs answering ... All these traps would take time to set up so I am guessing he must have been working on his traps for a while and must have at least been "Killing for a good 2-3 years at the very least!

Probably my biggest question is how did none of the players in saw x ever come out and reveal who jigsaw is because I assume at least one person survives the saw x games

But I am sure that Rigg appears in one of the Saw Games too - Whioch woudl suggest that he did survive that initial Game, only to be face with another... In which he still died! (In the games Canon Ending!) Being frank, I woudl have to change my name... (Doh! DAD JOKES!) ... No err... Not played the games, SO I may have the wrong character 100%... But yeah, Rigg defiantly died either way!
