She’s black you are who your father is he carries the seed. Her mother may be Asian and she may cleave to the cultural aspects of that side but her heritage is black Europe and America’s miseducation system of confusion has people walking around saying things like your mixed etc it’s false teaching. When you plant an apple seed dirt dosent grow the male part seed determines the fruit. It’s also very common with our people to cleave to the more socially accepted side of their so called mixed heritage instead of embracing being a Hebrew or so called black because we get shamed here and abroad culturally. For real if you meet any brother or sister and they have another race for a mother they instantly say oh Im Indian, or Chinese etcetc.

I love the focus on her Filipino side here. As a Filipino myself I had no idea- thought she was fully black. People need to acknowledge this, we are a beautiful soulful and welcoming culture. I hope everyone can understand the point of this interview was not to disregard her other half. It’s an Asian segment with an Asian interviewer. Much love to all :)

Kinda felt uncomfortable with this the interviewer kept mentioning about being Asian and being to korea, japan, Malaysia but in all honesty other Asian countries look down on us. I sometimes feel that. We don’t use chopsticks we use spoon and fork but it’s in our original culture to use our hands. That’s considered savage and disgusting. We have a lot of indigenous roots and tribes making us one of the darker Asians. We no longer use our indigenous characters as well. We use a phonetic western alphabet versus characters. There’s still cultural differences even now because Philippines is still no where near economically stable compared to japan Korea or China.

She does have a strong mixed/light-skin black phenotype to me, so I never thought she was part Asian. I can only barely see it in Jhene Aiko and only looked it up about Red Man that he's part Korean. I guess I see black features more strongly due to the different features I notice among them anyway.

Eddie Garcia ok I get where you’re coming from but the interviewer was only amazed w Saweetie being super in touch w her Filipino side cuz so many Blasian artists ignore their Asian side (HER, tyga, etc) and a lot of them are anti Asian too (Nicki, tyga) theres racism towards Asian in a lot of hip hop so that’s probably why a bunch of artist don’t really make it obvious they’re part Asian which is probably why the interviewer was blown by how much she knew bout her Filipino heritage 🤷‍♀️ just how I see it

Pinoy' Pinay pride 4L i go through the same situation i dont think its the look its more our swagger which always makes us unrecognized as being Filipino or Filipino mixed. which should not be that way cant judge a book by its cover. we are all one no matter what color race we are all beautiful we are the most high greatest creation. My whole family is from the Philippines and Hawaii i grew up in Hawaii and the Philippines i lived in cebu city, and Southern Leyte Maasin islands and Manila. Usually when having a Filipino mother like i myself my mother is Filipino from the Philippines. we connect more to our Filipino side cause thats all we know as being Filipino.
